First impressions are important; the first? The Yelp picture is a thumbs down sign - oh what a start! Parking here is fairly difficult; it's tight, it's narrow, and the streets during rush hour don't make it any easier. Have fun stepping out, even if you're parked in the front. Sure, nothing may happen, but it's not in the safest area of town. I rushed in, and there was no semblance of order. The line was by vibes, cutting was normal, and the staff member could care less. Walking out was the second battle. Even walking only 10 seconds, you really need to be vigilant of what's around... again, not the safest spot. This is probably one of my most stressful 7-Eleven experiences, and I would rate it nowhere near 7/11, probably 1/17 and not ever returning. read more

This is one of the few times I'm going to depart from my usual format because the worker here was incredibly rude. I purchased a bag of chips and rather than just scanning it like a regular human being the worker flipped my bag then slapped it! Seriously, who does that?!!! I was too annoyed and didn't have time to bother with making a complaint. Hey buddy, if you're reading this nobody likes broken chips. You could learn a lesson from clerks at other locations. I went late last night to buy my 1 year old milk because he's starting to transition off formula and noticed it had expired by one day. I only wanted to trade the milk for one that wasn't expired. First he said it's my fault that I opened it. Then told me it was my fault for not checking the expiration date. Once I told him what the milk was for, then he let me exchange it. When I went to exchange guess who still had expired milk in their shelves? Ever since new ownership this place managed to suck more. Had an Amazon package delivered here. Went to go pick it up and was told there is no Amazon locker at this location by the employee, showed email confirmation and was told there's no Amazon locked. Called Amazon and the person on the phone who has never been to this location ever in their told me that I went to the wrong place even though I am standing outside the store. Horrible customer service and sucks that now I have to dispute a $400 dollar charge because this whole situation is shady AF! Amazon is trash and I am happy to never come to this place again. Especially since the worker on the phone repeatedly hung up in my face every time I asked about the Amazon locker. They are thieves! read more

Worst service of my life!!!!!!!! I was getting a hot dog when I saw the cashier yelling at a guy who was picking up an online order because he was using his shirt as a face covering(which is allowed). I mentioned that this was a valid form of a face covering when he started yelling at me. He told me "don't come in my store and make up laws". I was merely sticking up for someone who was in the right. He continued to yell at me and was extremely rude. Also he was very slow when I asked for condiments for my hot dog. When I finally got them he threw them at me unapologetically. I was so upset I just left everything there!!!!! I don't recommend this location to anyone!!!!!! Not only did I witness the cashier, AJ, refuse service to a man I had just given change to, but he didn't even give it back, he kept the change for himself. He then proceeded to yell at a couple who had their service dogs with them telling them they needed to leave because their dogs are disgusting and so are they. Does he not know that's illegal? It's a bad g one. Might be the biggest in the neighborhood. 2 cashiers, one on each, but still took them 5 minutes to take my money. I am telling you, the 7 11 stores need sometime to deal with the worst people. Someone bought a banana and started arguing why the l'y charge 35 cents for a banana. Yes, this is a sketchy part of Canoga Park....but I'm telling you...and I can't really explain it...but their Slurpees are better than any other 7-11. They might use extra powder, I'm not sure. This is by far the BEST 7-11 store I have been to! The place is always clean and the employees are nice and helpful. They treat everyone like family, and it's more like a mom and pop store! The owner is super nice and knows everyone (pretty much) by name! She truly cares about all of her customers and goes out of her way professionally and personally for them!!! They always have good deals where you can buy 2 items and get discounts. The employees are honest and nice. Their customer service is A+! I don't care where I am at, even if I am a few miles away, closer to another 7-11 store, I come to this one, because I want to support this owner who is always so kind, giving, and helpful! She always makes all of the customers leave with a smile, whether by the nice things she does for them, the compliments, the extra care she puts into everything. It's kind of like CHEERS (a Bar) Where everyone knows your name... LOL and people tell her their problems and she helps them out! Aside from that, the store is well stocked, great specials, and has good parking. The neighborhood isn't the greatest, and ever since the traffic lights went up on sherman way and canoga, the congestion on that street is horrible!!!
