The coffee was okay for my liking. They forgot to make/warm up the croissant I ordered & then they got it wrong after that but that's okay. I also did not know a ham & cheese croissant came with mini pickles which isn't something i would want in my ham & cheese.
Yummy! Good quality matcha. No wait in line and drink was pretty good! The aesthetic is super cute and the bathroom is clean
I ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Espresso Latte ($7). It had a nice amount of cinnamon flavor, but the drink itself tasted a bit watered down, so it wasn't my favorite. The inside is very aesthetic with plenty of seating, making it a great spot to get work done or catch up with friends. The staff were also very kind and welcoming. The cafe is a little hidden in the complex and there's no dedicated parking lot, but I was able to find free street parking. Although I wasn't a fan of the latte, I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying one of their matcha drinks next time.
Chit chat is the place to be at ;). I came here on a Wednesday afternoon to get some work done. I think I got lucky with parking. Chit chat is underneath an apartment complex so there's residential parking plus some spots open for visitor on the round about. Aside from that, there are some street parking across! Walking it, you'll see that it's a pretty big sized cafe. They sell merch hanging like tshirts, tote bags, & hats! Baristas were nice upon entrance by greeting you with a warm welcome. I ordered an iced banana matcha and chocolate croissant. 5/5 recommend, would order again. However, I do wish the croissant had more chocolate! Halfway through I thought they mistakenly gave me a plain croissant. There's plenty of seating around, WiFi is provided, & there's a water station. Bathroom could've been cleaner & there were out of TP! Otherwise, I am looking forward to coming back!

The inside is very clean with some tables but could use a few more to accommodate more patrons. *Now for the parking - It is located in a residential apartment complex...however, once you turn into the residential parking follow the signs that say "RETAIL" and park there:)

Tried the Strawberry Mac Milk Matcha Latte and it was very different from other strawberry matcha drinks I've had. It was actually very delicious! I would have preferred it to be a little less sweet, but overall I would probably order it again. I added extra matcha too! The atmosphere was cool with aesthetic vibes.
Stopped by Chit Chat in Chatsworth and tried their matcha chai--so good! Perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and super smooth. You can really taste the quality of the matcha paired with the warm spice of the chai. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with a friend. Staff was friendly and the drink came out quickly. Definitely adding this to my regular rotation. Highly recommend if you're a matcha lover!
New Year, new matcha places to try. This place was easy to find but parking was a bit weird. It was my first time here so all I saw was an apartment complex with a parking structure that said it was for residents. There was a roundabout with a few parking spaces available. Since I was just picking up, I took a chance and parked there. I've heard that there is a parking structure for retail but I did not see it immediately. The place itself seems spacious, new, modern. They have a few things to browse through (merch/coffee) while you wait for your order. There were a few tables for guests that seemed good for small groups. Service is quick. They have espresso drinks and a lot of specialty matcha drink options to choose from. There's also pastries available. I opted for a regular matcha latte, whole milk, unsweetened, iced. It was a good matcha, not too milky, not too bitter, nice color. Was it the best matcha I've had? No. Was the place pretty vibey enough to make up for it? Sure was. Their menu has plenty to offer so I'd still recommend this place and I'd come back when I'm in the area.

The matcha flavor was solid, though I personally love a stronger matcha taste -- still very well done. My Husband ordered the homemade cereal coffee, and he really enjoyed it. But now that I've tried the chagaccino, I find myself genuinely looking forward to ending my week here -- especially on a Saturday or Sunday morning to read my book and relax. The ambiance is one of my favorite parts. It's a respectful, calm coffee shop where people are wearing headphones, working, reading, and truly enjoying the space the community has created here. It was clean, welcoming, and peaceful. It is a bit tricky to find... and honestly, I kind of like it that way (my Valley people, please don't oversaturate this spot -- just teasing!). A hidden gem worth checking out.

I love the iced rose Matcha! 4 pumps of rose I can't wait to try other things here It's a great place to read or study or get work done and lots of seating room. The Matcha is ceremonial grade and organic and they offer macadamia milk, oat milk, and almond milk and and milk. Yana and Joe are very nice It would be a nice touch for them to put dried rose petals in the drink. Quick reviews, just for you! read more
Been here a few times, and I'm not a coffee drinker but I can attest to their matcha. Honestly, the first time I had their matcha, I was not a fan. I got the matcha chai, and I think it was the chai's fault, but it definitely tasted watered down and not how I like my matcha at all. I prefer it creamier. I learned from my mistakes and got the matcha with cold foam this time, and that was much better. Strong matcha flavor, and that classic deep green color. Would definitely get that again. The service itself is decent. I have ran into baristas sometimes that are more so apathetic, but I mean I guess how enthusiastic can you be about making coffee. The vibes are great, but this place is always packed so secure your spot early. read more

Came here with a fellow yelper for a morning matcha chat! We got the strawberry matcha and it was delicious! It was super quiet and empty when I got there, only 2-3 ppl in their laptops. But I guess because it's close to csun, students go study! The parking was a little weird - i did like 2 laps until I found the specific retail parking. The staff was super friendly. The space was clean and nice. The vibes all around were great! read more

I'll definitely be returning to try more of their drinks! I ordered a strawberry matcha which was good - more matcha flavor than anything, but I liked it. Def order a matcha! The staff are really friendly and kind, and the space is really nice for studying/working. It doesn't look like there are outlets, but the space is comfortable. I'll be returning! :) read more
Their matcha chia latte w/cold foam is a solid 9/10. It's a unique but simple combo, in which all the flavors are quite balanced. The matcha's earthiness still peaks through the chai spices. The overall drink is subtly sweet, which I think is perfect to allow all the complex flavors to shine through properly. The cold foam is plain vanilla. I might try it next time without... But it does add an extra creaminess, which I personally like. Their kouign amann pastry was delicious as well, especially warmed up. The cafe overall has a very chic and inviting atmosphere, with lots of seating. The staff is also very knowledgeable of their drinks, and have wonderful customer service read more

the vibes and aesthetics of this place are great! it's connected to an apartment complex so it's kinda hard to figure out parking... I had to park across the street from the apartment complex, but overall I enjoyed their matcha latte and the place. They have a lot of outlets and good wifi which made it a really nice place for me to get homework done! The workers were also really sweet and complimented my outfit that day :) read more
Almost got lost but found my way. It's located in a residential/commercial space, so can be a bit confusing unless you are coming from the main street. There are a couple parking spots available marked "retail" The space is quite large and they even have free WiFi. They also have some cute CHIT CHAT merch like shirts, sweatshirts, hats, tote bags, mugs, etc. You can even buy some matcha to go, coffee bags, hot sauce, olive oil, books, and items from the fridge. Anyway onto the main menu, I got here late afternoon so a lot of the pastries were already gone. The drinks all look tasty and I went with the SEA SALT MOCHA $7 - espresso, organic house made cocoa, brown sugar, sea salt, and milk. I ordered it hot and it was like an elevated hot chocolate for adults. Gotta love the touch of sea salt to cut down on the sweetness. It was very very good! read more
Somehow three stars seem too low and four stars seem too high. Unfortunately,it's one of those IG aesthetically pleasing cafe's that fall short on the actual drinks themselves. I ordered the cinnamon toast matcha and strawberry matcha . The matcha is watered down just like the reviews mentioned. I would not recommend the cinnamon toast matcha. The strawberry matcha was a lot better but nothing outstanding, 85 degrees cafe is around the corner , I should have just taken my business there . On top of the disappointing drinks, the cafe was hidden,not easy to find and parking was troublesome. All this to say,not worth the trip. read more
A girls day of a chit and a chat with a coffee and matcha in hand! They have a variety of options to choose from especially for us matcha girlies. I will be stopping back in to try the other flavors but I had to go with my fav which is always a strawberry matcha. This one was already dairy free as it had macadamia nut milk and it gave it a sweet but creamy flavor. My friend got a hot spanish latte, she enjoyed every sip of it! The inside is modern with touches of green throughout. Seating is inside, it does get a little loud when ppl don't know what inside voices mean, but otherwise it's a chill little vibe. The bar area is coffee or matcha with pastries on the side (nothing gluten free) but they did look really tasty! Merch wall off to the side with a selection of cold drinks. The guys working the counter were friendly and helpful. **Note this place is located underneath the apartment complex. Parking is along the round about and I also found parking to the right of the garage (as you enter, you'll see retail parking off to the side in the open area). read more

Chitchat used to be my top favorite matcha spot in the valley. This however has changed:/ You could probably go back maybe a year ago and I left a good review talking about how good this place was. Lately I noticed that my drinks have been extremely watered down and the guy who works there, mostly evenings seems like he doesn't want to be there. He has his camera and computer set up by the end of the bar which looks extremely bad and he always throws and slams everything. Also even has an AirPod in one of his ears. Not only has the quality of the drinks gone down, but the customer service seems to as well. Really bummed about it. read more
Been wanting to try this spot since a bunch of my fellow Yelpies were raving about it - I see you, Shawna ;) Decided to drop by this morning on the way to work which was around 8:15 am. I've heard parking was a little hard to find or confusing so we prepared ourselves! My bf drove this morning and we didn't see any available parking, even on the small street across, so he waited in the car while I hopped out to get my drink quickly. I ran over to the door facing towards the street, it was locked. I looked inside and saw people but I guess they only keep the other side unlocked so I walked around towards the inside/apartment facing entrance. First thing you notice is the beautiful lighting and interior design. It felt super fancy in there! I was also greeted by the sweetest girl, didn't catch her name. Ordered an iced banana bread latte and took a look at their pastries and went for the chocolate chip cookie. She mentioned I got the last one! I was shocked since they open at 7am and it was only shortly after 8am when we arrived. Not sure how many they make for the day but maybe they make more later? Idk! Glad I got it though because it was super good, especially warmed up! I sat down and waited for my drink which came out almost immediately. Took my pics and tried it, so delicious. It had the strong espresso I always look for and it had a really nice cinnamon flavor. The banana flavor was super subtle and I think it could've used more of it but overall a solid latte. Looooooooove Chitchat. What a hidden gem! Firstly, the shop itself is stunning. Kudos to whoever designed it. I love how spacious it is and how there is plenty of seating. Lots of outlets too! On a Sunday morning, pastry selection was completely wiped out. I would have loved to see what their offerings were! I am both a coffee and matcha fan, so marrying both of them is right up my alley. I actually ordered the Dirty Chai Matcha and wow. Literally all of my favorite drinks in one cup. It was pretty milk heavy, but the flavor was spot on. I am super excited to come back! Parking was a little difficult, but I managed to find a spot in the turnabout next to it. Their merch is super cute too! I would definitely buy some of their ceremonial matcha. It's always such a huge plus when coffee shops use the good authentic stuff! read more

Whee so happy I got to satisfy a craving for matcha this afternoon. I thought of this spot because I had recently tried coming here last week with my bf, but due to the horrible parking situation (2pm on a Thursday) where we couldn't find parking close by, we had to leave to go elsewhere. Thankfully I was lucky to have found a spot across the street (2pm on a Monday). I really love the open space of this cafe and the lady who took my order helped tailor my choice. For my first time getting a drink here, I went the classic route and got the iced matcha (yes to sweetened) latte with oat milk and vanilla syrup. Plenty of seats to sit down and wait for your order. She was quick and started on it right away, calling out the order on the counter. The interior of this place is gorgeous but I definitely think this location is most convenient for the tenants and residents that live nearby here due to the parking situation. It's unfortunately not the most convenient cafe due to that. Thankfully the drink I had was perfect and I enjoyed the drink so well! I feel I would definitely come back here to try the other drinks! What a nice, soothing vibe. Finally came to check this coffee shop out and got the Banana Bread latte as I saw it's one of their most popular ones. It was good and priced well but I could've used more banana bread flavor but just added a stevia and it did the job lol. Next time I'll get their other popular the Cinnamon Toast Crunch or the Spanish latte. I can see why people like coming in here. It was so peaceful, clean and spacious. I came on a Monday noon so not a lot of people but I can imagine it being crowded on the weekends and then it's not so peaceful anymore lol. Parking would be street parking. I've always driven by the Sawtelle location and wanted to give it a try! This location is on the ground floor of an apartment complex. Parking is limited at the complex, but there is a lot of street parking nearby. Spacious and welcoming store environment. Cute drinks, but unfortunately, the matcha was not for me. I prefer strong matcha, and their matcha drinks were too light in matcha flavor and overpowered by the milk proportion. read more

I'm so happy to finally enjoy the coffee shop! It's been months of anticipation and finally it's here! This is so convenient to have it right by you. So far, I absolutely love the coffee. The Spanish Latte is my fav , but even simple latte is great as well. I can taste the quality coffee in every sip. The prices are very reasonable. I only wish they have bigger sizes hahah , I do like a large coffee. It's been super hard to eat, I've been just nauseous and exhausted due to the loss of my recently passed childhood kitty. My boyfriend thought a little treat like this would be perfect -- AND it was. I had two of Banana Bread Matcha's in one visit because it was actually soooo good and was the only thing that I could really stomach. It's not too sweet but not bland. I mean, if I got two that really means something LOL I also had their seasonal blueberry danish, I love danishes and again -- not too sweet but not bland! It was so nice and quiet, roomy, tons of space, comfy seating. The lighting was perfect for my sensitive eyes lol. I felt so relaxed, taking a break from grieving. The service was really remarkable. The woman that rung us up yesterday morning had such a warm, and calming energy. She was definitely one of the reason as to why I felt so relaxed. I'm an introvert, so I don't require much interaction, so her warm smile and calming presence meant a lot. Chit Chat was on my radar for a while now, but their Sawtelle location opens later than when I'm in the area in the mornings. So when I saw that they had a SFV location, I knew that I wanted to pull up and try it. It's a nice and ample, very clean location. There was no parking in the lot but I did squeeze into a spot across the street on a Saturday afternoon. Very friendly young lady who was running the show, literally because of her speed and because she was the only person there so she'd charge and quickly made the drinks. I was impressed with her agility. As far as the drink was concerned well, I drank it but I wasn't impressed. The banana bread latter was the reason why I went but it didn't taste like banana at all. It was a sweetened cinnamon latte with espresso that felt like it was wasn't properly extracted. Maybe that explains with swift movement of the barista or the espresso just got lost and muddled with all of the other ingredients. Again it wasn't a terrible drink but also wasn't worthy of wanting to come back again. But if I did go back it would be to try something else on the menu. read more

You can park at the habit, stonefire parking and walk, others I've seen park on penfield ave by the courthouse.

Been wantinf to try this place out, finally tried to, I left, where is parking?
There is a small surface level parking marked "retail" near the back door. There is also a parking structure entrance right near the surface lot that also states "retail" to get you up the ramp to the additional parking.
