I will say if you are like me and not a big fan of nuts be sure to ask for ALL items without as I think that would have sent my horchata latte over the top. The whole place has a cozy, relaxing feel with smooth jazz playing in the background, which makes it perfect to just sit and enjoy your time. We tried a few of their drinks: the tiramisu cream top latte, Biscoff cream top latte, and the horchata cream top latte--all of them were delicious and full of flavor. You really can't go wrong with any of them. For food, we ordered the chilaquiles... and wow. Soooo good. Definitely coming back just for that alone. For pastries, we had the chocolate banana bread (made in-house and seriously amazing) and the cookie croissant, both were really good and paired perfectly with the coffee. I'm so glad this coffee shop is in my neighborhood. I find myself going probably at least twice a week whereas I was making my coffee at home before this place popped up. I love their drinks. I really have fun with their seasonal drinks as well. I enjoy trying the new ones they create. Whenever they do the new drinks my neighbors and I all go and have a taste testing. It's become a fun tradition. All the employees are so friendly that it makes the experience even better when we do come. A lot of them know me and my family and all my neighbors. They know we like to walk our dogs here for the exercise and coffee. They always know our dogs love the pup cups so they ask how many we want that day. They already know our drink orders. Went looking for a certain coffee shop and found that it's gone and has been replaced by COFFEE, MI AMOR. It's in a strip mall with its own free parking lot. Space is large, cute and has a lot of chairs and tables inside. The staff are friendly and efficient. They use CAFFE LUXXE beans for their espresso drinks. They offer wifi. Their CORTADO and LATTE are sufficiently strong. I'm so glad a coffee shop offering good coffee opened up on this part of the San Fernando Valley. read more

Really cute coffee shop! Loved the greenery inside and artsy interior. Theres a great outside space for seating as well as inside. It's tucked in on Devonshire but in a small plaza so there is easy parking. I've heard of this spot before but just never had the chance to stop by. Well today I did! And I'm grateful for my friend for introducing me to it! If you like your dessert lattes you'll like this spot. From Biscoff to Horchata to Butterscotch to Banana Cream, you'll def find something! I'd like to try their other coffees next time but this time I got the biscoff one and yes it was yummy! The foam is tasty topped off with a biscoff and once you stir it well, it's delicious and not that sweet surprisingly. Coffee, Mi Amor is a bakery coffee shop in Chatsworth that opens at 6 am. So it is a treat for the insomniacs. I decided to give it a try not for the coffee but for something to eat. It was a to go order: a butter croissant, an almond croissant and a bacon, egg & cheese slider. Both the butter croissant and the almond croissant were dry, hard and very solid. No fluffiness, no flakiness no freshness. It seemed that both had been made several days ago. After a few bites, I had to discard both of them. The bacon egg and cheese slider was better. A nice soft bun optimum amount of bacon that blended with the egg and cheese. With this experience, I don't have the impetus to go back here again. read more

I'm wondering if I might have just come on an off day because this place has such wonderful reviews. I ordered a hot vanilla latte and the avocado toast. The hot vanilla latte was not good in my opinion. The syrup they use tasted very artificial and once I got to the bottom of my latte, it was all syrup - it was not mixed in well at all. The avocado toast was delicious, it has potential to pair very well with the latte, but I think more attention needs to be given to how it's made. read more

Unique matcha and coffee drinks with lots of customization options! Got a matcha pistachio drink and it wasn't even on the menu. I mentioned I liked the two and they said they could do it. Portion of the cup is sizable too (I shared mine). There's seating inside. It's clean and bright. Parking is easy. The baked goods are so good - got a sample of the cookies and got one to go. My first experience at Coffee Mi Amor was okay, I thought the coffee was too milky and I didn't receive my pastry until I asked for it. The pastry was also fine. I gave it another go, as this is the coffee shop closest to me, and everyone deserves a second chance. This time was phenomenal, while it was noticeably busier I found it to much more efficient then last time, like the team was a well oiled machine this time around, and they've rearranged the space to have a more natural crowd control flow. The pastries were delicious this time, the coffee cake is phenomenal, and they now these wonderful chocolate chip cookies that are just baked to completion, which is my preference. Moreover, the baker came out to ask about the pastries and is aiding in service to ensure pastries are making it out to guests which I think its just delightful. I love seeing such a passionate young man committed to good service. The pastry's achieve both style and substance, pretty to look at and photograph while being criminally delicious. The freshness cannot be denied. (Go early) Also the barista helping us was very friendly and patient despite the crowd, and thats something thats really lacking in other places. He helped me order a better coffee for my tastes. Coffee Mi Amor specializes in dessert coffee drinks that are great but definitely not something I can drink 3 times a week, but they do have better options if you aren't into overly sweet coffees. I ordered through an app to pickup here at the store. As I walked in my drinks were ready but my food was not there. I checked in with the lady at the counter who told me "your food will be ready when it comes out". She didn't ask my name to look.. After waiting an additional 10 minutes I asked her to check again please because my order should've already been ready. She came back and said that they don't have any more of the items I ordered they just ran out. Another worker stepped in and gave me options to replace it and I opted for a refund. To get a refund the gentleman said I have to go on toast (the app) to get it. IHe said I had to click on the get help button. But the get help button has you contact coffee mi amor and not the app. It says on there "any issues with your order, contact coffee mi amor". I asked him to please speak to the manager and he said he was the manager and repeated I had to go through toast for the refund there was nothing else to do. He can only give refunds to customers who pay in the store. Every time he said this he immediately started working again like he was finished with me but clearly I was not happy. I pointed at the owner and asked if I could talk to her instead, and he gave me a younger girl who tried to over explain to me that it takes 2 business days for refunds to go back to my card. Like what? That wasn't even the issue and her just randomly saying that let me know they weren't even trying to remedy the situation. It was just about the fastest answer to get me to leave. Really, I just wanted a refund for the items they ran out of. I pushed for my refund and eventually got it from him. He was very unhappy to give it to me. Upon leaving I did some more digging on the toast app. Per the toast app, you in fact have to direct all questions, returns, complaints about items directly to coffee mi amor and not toast. The only way to get a refund is from Coffee Mi Amor. The only way toast itself will interfere is if I placed an order, showed up and the business was closed. The staff here at this establishment are 110% incorrect what they're telling customers and proper training will keep another customer from being this frustrated. On top of the food they didn't have, one of my drinks wasn't full. read more
