Bomb. I knew I would like it here. A retro coffee shop yet chill (came on a weekday late morning) and wasn't crowded, just one person doing work and some people coming in. When you come in, it's refreshing to see the open space. It's clean with plenty of seating whether you want to sit and dine and work or head to the back to just chill. I got their iced dirty chai. I've been craving one lately and it hit the spot. They had sandwich samples so tried their turkey sandwich. Also I got to meet the owner and he was nice enough to let me try a sample of their chocolate chip cookie which it had sea salt and made with sourdough. It was also warmed up for me. I can taste the combination of the cookie and it was really good. I would get this because it's different and it works. The owner is really nice and explained how they came here to the valley and have other locations in Palmdale. Parking is on the street or the small paid parking lot in the back but on the other side of the block. I think this area needed something more modern like this. read more

First time I went - They have the music so blasting loud I can't even hear myself think nor can I have a phone conversation with somebody. It ruins any hope for a relaxing atmosphere. Not a place to do work or have normal conversations with people. read more

This place is very spacious and stylish. I didn't get to the back room (it was dark, with a tv I think?) but it looked like it could be quite relaxing especially during these hot days we're having. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, the barista was super friendly and made sure to check which milk I wanted as I almost forgot to say I wanted oat! I got a medium iced latte with vanilla and strawberry syrup. I wish every coffee shop had strawberry syrup. Because I think this was one of the best lattes I've ever had. It was incredible. The only catch is that it's quite small and expensive... I know that's typical for bougie coffee these days. It's just unfortunately not something I can be in the habit of getting often. But I drank it all in maybe just 5 minutes. Partly because it was unbelievably delicious but also I don't think there was much in there! Especially with how much ice is in it. Honey, rush latte is delicious. Next time I would recommend you ask them to make it less sweet. Also skip the pistachio croissant. There was more pistachio cream in there than anyone could ever possibly want, it made my croissant this soggy mush that look like it was artificially died in green just to make a pistachio. Definitely not my favorite pastry. I would just choose a muffin or a basic croissant if I were you, but other than that, this is a great spot to work on a laptop to have a bunch of tables. They have great drinks and it was comfortable inside right clean just please change your pistachio because that was horrible. read more

Just moved to this area and was looking for a coffee place. First time here, and I ordered the matcha flight--it definitely didn't disappoint! It was such a fun way to try different matcha flavors and helped me figure out which ones I'd want to order next time. The pastries were delicious, and everything tasted fresh. PLUS they warmed it! I'm not often on Sherman Way in this part of town but there are so many hidden shops out here! This one has been on my list for a while and finally dropped by this morning on the way to work. Parked at the meter parking right up front and walked into the biggest cafe I've ever seen lol. Super empty, and one worker, shoutout to Michelle for taking care of my order! Super sweet girl and gave me the history on this place after I commented how huge this coffee shop was lol. She mentioned it used to be a strip club lol!! It's a nice open shop and the decor feels a bit repetitive but tons of seating. I asked about the caramel Brulee latte which she told me doesn't actually have a Brulee topping so I didn't get it. Ended up getting a small iced caramel hazelnut latte with vanilla foam which was a recommended drink on their menu. I didn't check the sizes on top of their pastry case but I'm used to two shots and was a bit sad that it only came with one. Drink came out fast and much sweeter than I expected. I feel like if I got an extra shot, it would've definitely balanced out. Not a bad spot and I definitely want to try a simpler latte next time with maybe just pistachio flavoring which I love. Love the vibe of this place. The people working here seem friendly. They have a variety of sugar free syrup options which is awesome because not every coffee house does! They also have a holiday menu. I got a sugar free caramel latte with almond milk and pistachio foam. Spacious place with plenty of seating. The only drawback is parking. My neighbor told me I had to try this place. We went and tried the flight of coffees. I absolutely love their flavors. They let me substitute one of the flavors that didn't sound as appealing. And the one I substituted was my favorite flavor. I like my coffees on the sweeter side. The two flavors from my flight were so good that when i go next time I will probably order myself two drinks! I loved how bright and spacious this place is. It was very clean. The employees were super friendly and knowledgeable. I had been eyeing this place for a while and was excited to try it out, especially because of their coffee flights but sadly I was disappointed. The shop itself is very clean with tables for indoor siting. Staff was friendly as well. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy but surprisingly we had to wait 45 min to get our order. I ordered the pumpkin flight. Basically it's 5 drinks from their pumpkin menu. I liked the variety but would have preferred to choose the drinks instead of having them already picked for you. Regardless I was excited to try them, each sounding amazing. However, the coffee was water downed and lacked flavor. The syrups overpowered any coffee flavor there was. As usual, I'm always trying new coffee shops! I saw this place on TikTok, so of course I had to check it out. I ordered one of their bestsellers -- a medium caramel hazelnut latte with vanilla foam -- and also tried the pumpkin horchata in a small. Let me tell you, I was pretty disappointed with the caramel hazelnut latte. There was nothing "hazelnut" about it; all I could taste was caramel syrup. On the bright side, the pumpkin horchata was delicious -- you get just the right hint of pumpkin and horchata flavor. The shop itself is very clean, has a nice vibe, and the service was friendly and fast. That said, it's a bit too far for me, and I wouldn't make the drive again just for the coffee. read more

I got the cold brew with cookie butter foam, topped with Biscoff and an extra shot of espresso, it was soooo good. Not too sweet at all, which I loved. Perfect balance of coffee and cookie butter flavor. I also tried the strawberry and cream cheese croissant and wow, that was amazing. Super flaky, buttery, and just the right amount of sweet. Welcome to the neighborhood Trio!!! I work in this area. I'm so glad we finally have a couple new coffee shops. Both are walking distance from us. Today we decided on giving Trio a try. The space is open and bright with pops of red. You walk up to the counter and you can see the sweet treats they have behind a glass case. Their drink and savory treat options are on the menu which is conveniently located right be the counter. I forgot what my drink was called, but it had pistachio foam on top. It was so good. Very creamy with the perfect amount of sweetness. Well balanced drink. I also ordered the turkey pesto croissant sandwich. Very nice size sandwich. It was bigger than my hand. It looked liked they put it in the panini press, which made it slightly crunchy. I loved it so much. I look forward to bringing my friends here. read more

This is a lovely addition to a neighborhood that covers itself in a bright community full of character and culture. Even on a sunny +90F day in the west SFV, I found myself testing Trio for my first visit by ordering medium hot latte. I look around at the orders all the other customers are walking away or lounging with and I think this could be a mistake. Is there still a world for those who drink hot coffee in the classic paper cup? The answer to this question lies in a sip of coffee that's served at the perfect temperature. I take a sip and take comfort knowing that this place passes a basic assessment: the coffee is perfectly fine! There's nothing acerbic about the flavor. I'm well into my day as this is a post-lunch cup of coffee, but I can imagine this latte being the perfect way to start a day had I arrived around the time doors opened. I could have walked away perfectly content but the barista asks me if everything is okay or would I like to correct any possible errors. There was nothing to request. I'm glad I came and am looking forward to my next visit (hopefully soon). The high ceilings and large space make for a lovely spot to meet with friends or even study in the somewhat dimmer area in the back. There is so much space here that you might start to wonder if you should have added more money to your parking meter. For those not in a rush, relaxing in a chair or a bench and enjoying your coffee is certainly an option. I'm happy there's a new business here and I hope the surrounding businesses also benefit from new foot traffic. Unfortunately, I've spent too much time soaking up the vibes in this place. I don't have any time to check out some of the fun shops around the area. Perhaps next time if I'm in the area for lunch, I'll chase a burrito from Taqueria El Tapatio with a sweeter selection from Trio. read more

It's very spacious inside and imagine it's a good place to cowork. Grace working was super nice and patient as we perused through the large menu. Tons of specials and options that would suit anyone. Drove past this shop so many times so I figured I would pull have a look. To start , this coffee shop is larger than I expected! Still new and low The perfect place to work or study at.they had lots of flavors to choose from. I tried the Carmel brûlée latte iced w oat milk and vanilla cold foam. The cold foam didn't have much flavor but the actual coffee beverage was great. It was the perfect balance of coffee to sweetener... not too sweet either. The ambiance super cute merch and music are also a great touch. I look forward to trying more of their menu. The bakery case looked generic so I wasn't too excited to try but I will one back to try the breakfast sandwiches they offer. read more

Went here during opening. thought it had quite the vibe and was stoked to come back. I went back today and a couple things jumped out at me which is why I wont be back. 1. Pastries - The pastry quality had diminished immensely. Originally they had higher end, unique boutique like pastries. Now they resemble generic cisco / costco pastries. 2. Low quality Matcha - First time I had the blueberry matcha the first time and I'm not a sweet drink guy but this was refreshing. My second visit i ordered a vanilla matcha and when I looked at the matcha near the foam top it was that beat earthy green which is indicative of lower quality matcha rather than the vibrant green associated with higher quality matcha. For an 8$ small latte out the door, I'd expect a higher quality product. The drinks are overtly sweet and they use cheap monin / torani pump syrups. Home made syrups are the staple of a quality coffee shop. 3. Vibe - Its quite vibey and clean I'll give it that. 4. Service Charge - They charge you on top of tax a service charge, I asked what it was for, and the counter person said. "its because you ordered it for here, so its the charge to sit inside." THen it prompts you to tip on top of it. What? Weird. Out the door its 6.50 for the latte, an additional $1 for the service charge + tax, then tip on top, which brings it to about $8-8.50 for a small. I wanted to give this place a better review since its down the street from my house. But it really just feels like its a starbucks adjacent overly sweet / creative drinks. Not somewhere I would actually go for deep work or quality coffee. if you like sugary drinks, this is probably your spot. read more

finally got to try this new coffee shop, absolutely loved the decor of the place, and there's even a small room in the back with dimmer lighting and a cozier vibe. i opted to not try the matcha, since the color didn't look strong enough for me. their drinks seem to lean on the sweeter side, the chai latte w/ strawberry tasted like a strawberry creme frappe from starbucks with cinnamon. i would recommend the hazelnut latte with vanilla foam! drinks took a little long to come out considering there wasn't a line to order when we walked in. overall, super cute and would come back! read more

Came here for soft opening and a subsequent time. Ordered a Mazapan latte (w/Whole - more on that), Strawberry Macchiato, Caramel Brûleé latte both with Almond & a straberry loaf. First, Cons: - The inability to choose milk alternatives for crafted lattes is a bummer (Horchata, Spanish, Mazapan and Abuelita). They are prepared in batches so whole milk is the only option (except for the Oat-chata). There's plenty of other options to choose from, however- so it's not the end of the world- but kind of a downside for those who are lactose-intolerant, sensitive and/or conscious. - Price. $7.00. Only because the nearest coffee joint a block away charges arouns $6.50 for their 16 oz. and the Starbucks around the corner about $5.95. - Not really child friendly. Hear me out, they don't need to cater to children, but this isn't a place you'd want to bring your child. White walls & stone seating are remisicent of a museum. The vibe it's going for is upscale, so that may alienate the locals in the community. - Even with milk alternatives- somehow still...milky? like- almost...oily. Pros: - Service is friendly, which is lacking lately. Everyone is kind and patient & answer your menu questions with ease. - That minimalist setting we just discussed- also so relaxing. In the back seating area are plants, a space that feels far from the action, but right next to the bar. Muted music from the front in this area allows you to take a deep breath, take in the plants and enjoy the large space without clutter and tchotskis and just...stuff. That has to be my favorite part. - Menu that is open for many to choose from, but not overwhelming. Happy to have a new local business in a neighborhood that has been overlooked! stumbled across this coffee shop & I'm obsessed. Each drink is made to perfection. I ordered a valentine flight and each tasting was great (also can I just say how cool it is to have a coffee flight?! genius!). I asked if they could make one of the drinks to go but hot and the flavor was still there. Inside decor basically says "less is more" and i love it. Love the trio coffee house! My all time favorite drink is the horchata latte it is the perfect taste of horchata but the coffee flavor is just a hint of it. Also the Spanish latte I thought I would've liked but it was very sweet although you can adjust ur sweetness levels. I would give this place 5 stars but the location is a little tricky to park at if you go any time after 10am. read more

We were excited to try this place right at opening and were the second in line. The space itself is impressive , it's much larger and cleaner than most coffee shops in the area, which is a huge plus. Unfortunately, the experience was hampered by a significant operational issue. There was only one employee working, and as the line grew behind us, it became clear they were completely overwhelmed. We saw several people walk out after seeing the wait, which is a shame. The sole employee was doing their absolute best, but one person can't handle cashiering and making complex drinks for a growing crowd alone. As for the drinks, they were just okay. My husband had the Mexican Coffee and said it was fine, nothing special. I ordered the Banana Matcha with Pumpkin Foam and Cinnamon. The banana and matcha were a nice combination, but I couldn't detect any cinnamon at all. It's very possible it was forgotten in the rush to keep the line moving. This place has a great foundation with its space and concept. I'd be willing to give it another try, but only if I knew they had adequate staffing to handle the rush. read more

One employee in particular from the 2 there just stared and then went to go hide it seemed. I get nervousness from opening a new store, and they seemed young.
