That made it a fairly easy on and off the freeway drive, save for the relatively unplowed exit and entrance ramps. I'll see Maverik again when I return to Iowa, as they purchased the Kum & Go chain and that brand will be replaced with the Maverik name. My experience yesterday was what you'd expect from this chain experience: wide fueling aisles, competitive pricing, easy transactions, and a mini-mart or comfort stop inside if I wanted it.

I already get 5% back cause I have the City Costco credit card that doubles as my membership card at the store. I like that the card scanners work super well at the Costco gas station. No multiple swipes or taps, just wave it on front of the scanner once and it's done, get to pumping! I was surprised there weren't huge lines here, like most of the Costco gas stations. I think this is one of the least crowded Costcos, the store included, well, compared to any big city Costco. All gassed up and then the pump asks by default, is no receipt OK? If you want one, then it will print one, but just go online to your Costco account page and see all your purchases, including the gas! I like this Costco Gas station!

This is my "go to" station in the area. It's convenient for me and has good prices so I always make a point of filling up before heading back to California... the land of ridiculous gas prices. Diesel, for example, is typically 80 cents per gallon cheaper here than at a comparable station in the Sacramento area. When you're driving a truck with 40 gallons capacity, it's a noticeable difference!
