I pretty much always go to the one in south Carson but decided that I would try this one in the area. I had an appointment at 7 am and got in line at 6:40am thinking that would be me plenty of time. I visited this morning shortly after 5 a.m. There was nobody in line ahead. When I pulled up to the window it was closed. The two young men in there saw me but continued doing whatever. I waited for a couple of minutes for at least a "Be right with you.". Nothing. Completely ignored so I left. I got to this particular location because it is usually a quick in and out. Mondays are the worst I have noticed. After this, I won't be going to this location on a Monday. Be better at customer service and at acknowledge people and let them know you will be right with them. read more

I've never been to Dutch Bros before; my first time fisting was on 2.12.26, but the staff there made my day! The girls working were incredibly helpful. Today 5/17/25 at 0553 am, one of the staff on a white tshirt had a bit of sarcasm towards me. I ordered online for coffee at home hoping to have it ready when I pick up and it wasn't. I had to wait another two minutes she says and there was just 1 car in drive thru when I arrived. Of course, it was a bit annoying and it's cold and windy outside. After she handed the hot coffee, I didn't say anything and the white shirt girl sarcastically said, "oh well have a good day". This location is usually my favorite, but today when I went I cut thru the cone because there was a gap and I know I shouldn't have done that but then the worker working give me a talk about how heads next time don't do that ok I would do it if there were more cones blocking it the service was terrible the drink was Really good read more

This Location has always been a good, high quality Dutch Bros. We have been coming here since it opened. They always get my order right and the runners make it a short wait. No runner on Christmas Eve and you could tell the difference. I wish there were a way to add space in the drive-thru. Once your in line, you're there for good. My big fear is someone running out of gas or breaking down while in line. Pro Tip: If your not using cash, ALWAYS GET A RECEIPT and ALWAYS GET YOUR GIFT CARD BACK. I'm not sure how to handle this situation from last week. A runner took my gift card payment back into the store with him (this typically doesn't happen. Normally, the runner has us use the gift card at the window). He never came back. When we asked at the window he said the card had the exact balance due and we were go-to-go. Since we usually only get large Iced teas @ $3.25 and load cards in increments of $10, how is that possible? I don't know if there was less than the amount due on the card and he let the balance slide or there's a gift card with $10-$15 in his pocket. We were in a hurry to get to Reno for work and there was a long line waiting behind us, so like a simp I didn't pursue the matter. From this point forward: plastic=receipt. First time going to Dutch bros on a Sunday morning at 8am but the line was wrapped around the other building just like the line for in and out. So we decided to park and order at the window. There was few other people waiting for drinks. The menu is overwhelming for a first timer. So I ordered ice double chocolate mocha and waited for 20min. Then I noticed the drive thru line had 2 staff people taking their orders so it made the line go fast. My drink was soo delicious. I wished there is one on Los Angeles. read more

The best staff works here! They take the time to learn their customers orders and they make the best coffee. I have a pain in the butt order and they 9/10 get it perfect. I always order a medium sugar free hazelnut oat milk blended latte. It's a mouthful to say lol. No other coffee place compares to Dutch! They have soo many different sugar free flavors whereas Starbucks has 1 and it's vanilla! Can we say boring! The drive through sign was a bit confusing (says drive through starts around the corner, I'm beginning to think it means corner of the blue cones they have set up and not corner of the building) so I just parked and walked up. This was my first time at a Dutch Bros. My sister and I went to to the walk up window and received quick and friendly service. Our drinks were so delicious! I got a nitro infused cold brew with a soft top and my sister got a vanilla chai also with a soft top. Highly recommend! The iced coffee was absolutely one of the best I've ever had. I love my Dutch coffee and depending on the time I leave my house, I choose the Carson City location I think will be the least busy. (Not always easy, but they always get us through quickly anyway.) Today I went to this location and to my surprise, there were no cars in line. Two lovely team members were outside waiting for me to pull up so they could take my order. We discussed a mutual acquaintance and pondered the question "what mythical creature would you be and why" (I chose Pegasus because he's pretty and can fly.). Moments later, another team member brought my coffee out to me. All of this took less than 4 minutes, yet it made my whole day. Andy and Jill, the owners, are a couple of young people who understand what good service and good quality are all about. I lost my stamp card (where you buy ten and get one free) and when I explained it to the girl at the window, I told her I had about 4 stamps. She gave me a new one with four stamps. Now...I'm not a scammer, but sometimes, people think others are trying to pull one over on them. Not even a question as to my integrity. Came here looking for some coffee so I ordered their iced caramel mochiato equivalent drink at Dutch Bros. Very similar taste to the Starbucks version. I would definitely come through here again because they have an awesome drive thru or front window ordering system. I always struggle with reviewing the Carson City Dutch Bros locations, simply because I know the owners (Andy and Jill) and want them to do well. I'll give this stand a solid 4 out of 5 stars, and the main reason I can't give the 5th star is solely based on the location of the stand. If you're coming in from the Dayton area, it's almost impossible to make the left hand turn into the stand's driveway without getting crunched. It's a serious leap of faith to get into the joint by turning left - and even more so going out. I try to make U-turns getting in and out, as I've found that doing anything less is a suicide mission at best. Also, with this place being next to the high school, the walk-up line can get obscenely long - longer than the original stand on Carson Street. The line does seem to move faster, however, if you're coming in the morning - prepare to wait. read more

Drive-through. Met this guy and told him I didn't know what the menu was. I told him, iced (confirmed to be on the rocks), sweet, and has coffee. That's it and he was like I got you. $4 only and I got this giant cup of awesomeness. Wait time was probably 3 minutes? Literally the fastest drive through and quality is a bit better than other drive-throughs for coffee. Turns out I got something called the Iced Ninja. It's like mocha greatness. We were in the neighborhood last night and decided to swing by the Dutch Bros in Carson City because the new one in Reno was stupid busy on their grand opening. Jessica was AMAZING at explaining the differences between all of the different frozen drinks and offering suggestions. My daughter changed her order after they'd already started making it - and they graciously accepted her change and made her drink as ordered. Everyone was friendly and engaging, but not in a fake way. In addition to "wow" customer service, their beverage selection accommodating to just about EVERY taste palette. They offer hot, cold, iced, frozen, teas, energy drinks, and the flavor options are out of this world - fruity, nutty, chocolate, caramels, etc... Check out their menu online or ask the employees when you arrive. There are so many options!! Stopped by the William Street Dutch Bros on my way through Carson City today as I'm STILL waiting for a Reno location to open!! Until then I get my fix for delicious coffee and smoothies whenever I can. My favorite coffee is a large hot yeti (white coffee) 911 (6 shots) with almond milk. It's mild, nutty and absolutely essential for long trips over the pass. All the smoothies I've tried have been delicious but my go-to is peach/mango! The service is always exemplary, but today the crew even wrote sweet little messages on the top of my cups! They are always enthusiastic and positively delightful to chat with! It was the same quality as the original dutch bros, my only complaint is that it's a struggle to see the menu until you're already at the window. Which increases the drive thru time. The other complaint I have is the music is STUPID loud that the person at the window had to make us repeat our order 3 times. Loud is fine, but there's got to be a reasonable level when you're in a drive thru. Other than that, I'm happy there's one closer to where I live. :) read more

So I moved to Nevada from Pennsylvania about 3 and half years ago, and had never heard of a Dutch Brothers Coffee. I kept to Starbucks and Dunkin, until someone did a coffee run and I was desperate. I asked for something hazlenutty. They got my the "Nutty Irishman"- it was absolutely delicious. So delicious, that THE NEXT DAY I went back to try something for myself. I got the Iced Cinnamon Dulce Mocha and have never looked back. The coffees are rich, flavorful, and just well composed- just the right amount of cinnamon, etc. I've probably been back at least 30 more times since the summer and the consistency is just incredible- it always tastes like the first one I fell in love with. Super stoked for the second Carson City location! Many of the team members we know and love from the original stand, and lots of awesome newbies! Still the same great quality and consistency we expect from Dutch Brothers, but a bit easier to get to from Reno.
