    My purchase to get water
    Kris P.

The manager of this location needs to have there head examined. This is the first one that I was required to make a purchase in order to get a glass of water. The temp today was 116 and I had to pay for water!!!! I don't know what the thinking is but give us a break we live in the desert for gods sake!!!!!! I will never use this store again Low

"Beating" Customers Over the Head for TIPS You'd think we would all get used to the idea of having the credit card machine being shoved into our faces with the full intent from the vendor, as the look expectantly at you, that you'd be humbled into giving a tip... that is against your entire heart and soul. ... because instead of costing what it costs to get your Starbucks Latte which is already $6.00 or $7.00... now we all have to deal with the EXPECATION that we are going to give a TIP ... no matter what.... case closed. Let me tell you, I'm seriously fed up with this whole tipping charade that's become the norm. You're handed that credit card machine (that comes on a long cord), and it's like the employee's eyes are drilling into your soul, practically demanding a tip. I'm already paying a hefty amount for a latte that could practically buy me lunch... now I'm cornered into tipping too? Tipping is GREAT when someone deserves it, but this pressure to cough up no matter what's going on is making my blood boil. SHOULD I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA just because someone handed me a cup of coffee ???? Let's talk about those employees who really don't deserve a tip. I've seen it all, from the snooty barista who can't get my order right to the clueless cashier who's more interested in their phone than helping customers. But guess what? The expectation to tip is inescapable. It's like a guilt trip waiting to happen.... well.... I'm not here for it. Shouldn't businesses pay their staff properly and make them want to do a good job? Why is it my problem to make up for their lack of ethics? This whole situation is getting under my skin, and I'm SURE I'm not alone in feeling this way. I've been through drive-thru Starbucks hell too. You're just trying to grab your caffeine fix, and suddenly, there's that cursed credit card machine... SHOVED AT YOU, blinding you with the sun's glare, and demanding a tip. It's actually the FIRST THING ... right out of the box... before anything else !!!! Do they NOT see that I'm barely awake, and I don't have the mental clarity for this right now? To dodge this headache, I've started using a Starbucks gift card. It's my secret weapon to avoid the machine being shoved AT me.... the judgmental stare, and the whole tipping showdown.

Their matchas were honestly some of the best we've ever had. We tried the horchata matcha, which was incredibly flavorful and perfectly balanced, and the blueberry matcha, which was also delicious and refreshing. For food, we ordered the CC Burrito and added carne asada, absolutely amazing! Everything was packed with flavor, and the tater tots on the side were the perfect addition. The salsa deserves its own shoutout because it was THAT good. The customer service was excellent too. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the whole vibe made us want to come back... which we did the very next day! This time we tried the tres leches espresso and the iced churro espresso, and both drinks were incredible. We'll definitely be coming back on future trips and referring friends and family!

It was a beautiful day at Rancho Mirage Park Farmers Market and they were there serving up their delicious brews. I ordered a Buttercup Latte and my partner ordered the Vanilla Matcha Latte. They serve all drinks with Oatmilk which was perfect for us because it is what we drink daily. Their overall aesthetic was dreamy! We recently secured the…read morespace for our monthly mixer, Valley of the Dolls, and could not be happier with how our very first event turned out. From start to finish, the experience exceeded all expectations. Working with Events Manager Nicci and the GM was seamless and genuinely enjoyable. They were incredibly attentive, responsive, and open to collaborating on a custom event tailored to our needs. As an Event Planner myself, I truly appreciate when a venue takes the time to listen and accommodate -- and The Social Cafe absolutely delivered on that front. The setup was perfect for our mixer. The charcuterie spread was beautifully done, and the custom lemonade and iced tea station was a thoughtful touch that our guests loved. Everything felt curated, intentional, and aligned with the vibe we wanted to create. Beyond the event itself, the space is simply wonderful. It's warm, welcoming, and full of personality, with vibrant LGBTQ+ artwork and a layout that encourages connection. There's so much opportunity to grow our monthly event here, and we're excited about what's ahead. The Social Cafe also shines as a daily neighborhood gem. Their coffee and pastries are fantastic, and if you're a breakfast lover, this spot is a must-visit. They also offer an extensive lunch menu with delicious pizzas, fresh salads, sandwiches, and shareables. I especially love that they feature rotating local artists on the walls -- every visit feels fresh and inspiring. Thank you to The Social Cafe team for such a welcoming and successful start to our monthly events. We're thrilled to continue building something special in such a beautiful, inclusive space!
