What a charming Café! I love the hybrid of Italian and French food foods. They have plenty of sweet and savory items available as well as seating inside and plenty of free and easy parking. They are so friendly and welcoming here, surely a place to become a regular act. Everything was absolutely delicious, we will certainly be back to try more next time!

I think I just found one of my new favorite cafés in the Coachella Valley! I stopped by Les Filles Cafe & More after my workout and ordered a croissant au chocolat and a mocha made with Caffè Vergnano espresso (if you know, you know ). The mocha was good, and you could definitely taste the quality of the Italian espresso. The croissant was perfectly flaky, buttery, and practically melted in my mouth. I've had some great French pastries before, and this one definitely earned a spot on my list. I was tempted to order a second one before I even finished the first. The café has such a warm, authentic feel. The owners were incredibly welcoming, and you can immediately tell French is their first language. I love the concept of bringing together French pastries and Italian coffee under one roof, and they also offer a variety of French and Italian sandwiches that I'm excited to come back and try. There are a few tables inside and outside, plus a beautiful long community table with bench seating if you're meeting friends or want to linger over coffee. They also have a single restroom. I thought the prices were reasonable for the quality of the pastries, coffee, and overall experience. They're located in the Target shopping center on Highway 111 in Cathedral City. One helpful thing to know: the sign inside says they're currently open Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and closed Sundays, so plan accordingly. I'll definitely be back--and I've already told my boyfriend he needs to bring his coworkers here. If you're in the Coachella Valley and love authentic French pastries, quality Italian espresso, and supporting local businesses, I highly recommend checking out Les Filles Cafe & More.

Very cute French and Italian cafe that offers both countries' pastries and sandwiches. All the staff were super kind and knowledgeable of all their offerings on display. There were also a few tables and chairs inside, along with a rather long bench that can fit a good amount of guests. We had a croissant, Italian croissant (cornetto), Florentine caprese sandwich, and a Sfogliatella, and everything was exceptionally baked and delicious. Really took me back to traveling in Europe. 10/10, highly recommend this quaint local cafe!

Amazing little cafe!! As soon as you enter you can tell you are about to try some really authentic stuff. Love how small it is, and all the decor. There are a couple tables inside with a big communal bench in the middle. Perfect for my littles and I. The service was amazing, I was helped by the owner. Very nice and answered my questions, and helped me choose a veggie sandwich. I ended up ordering a nutella donuts, croissant, orange juice, le crudité sandwich, and an iced coffee. They dont do flavored syrups for the coffee, she explained its because they keep it authentic. My little and I loved everything we ordered, no complaints! Cannot wait to go back and try more pastries and sandwiches. Hope this little cafe stays for a long time, definitely recommend to everyone!

Small but mighty! Came for a new discovery and what a good idea. Sandwiches and pastries look wonderful. Picked the jam Cornetto. Fresh and just the right amount of jam to work with the flavor, not overpower it. The abonancé here is on point with the Parisian theme. Comfortable searing inside with a few tables by the window and a community table center stage. Parking in the lot is plentiful for this corner building location . Love the music playing which currently is Inventaire 66 by Michel Delpech. Lovely staff, especially our French hostess fulfilling orders. Come by. Often.

This is a cute simple small French cafe. I got the caprese croissant, bacon and eggs croissant and flat white with oat milk. Everything was great and loved that the croissant was super flaky and hand held sized.

    Sfogliatella

I travel for food. Me and my family come to Palm Desert twice a year for the last couple decades. This hidden gem in Cathedral city hits in my opinion top 5 places to go in & around Palm Desert to Palm Springs. This is a real café. A combination of French and Italian. It's hard to do just one, they do both at a high-level. This is not a place where you come and you go fast. Go to a fast food restaurant for that. Sit down and enjoy the Ambiance. The service is personal with amazing accents. My personal order go for, a coffee beverage, or a freshly squeeze orange juice. Pick between two or three sweet items. One you can dip it in your coffee & the other, you can enjoy later (Cannolo Pistachio). My personal favorites are the sandwiches. Get yourself one of each. A French sandwich (Le Parisien) & A Italian sandwich (Cotto) (Mortadella). Thank me Later

Candice & Paulo, a cute lesbian couple have opened a much needed French/Italian pastry/sandwich shoppe in Cathedral City. It's beside Trader Joe's on 111 near Target. We had fresh Bombolone with cream center and plain Croissant and an Tarte Pomme (Apple Tart) with 2 Americano coffees. It's a nice indoor only with 4 tables/bench. They are closed Sundays and open daily til 3pm. Next time we'll try a delicious sandwich.

    I'll take em all!

Amazing little space tucked away in the desert. When searching Yelp for some breakfast options Les filles popped up and I had dreams of all the amazing cafe and bakeries in New York that I've dreamt of returning to. The space is small to fit a dozen people or so very cozy. But the flavors are huge! We ordered an assortment of options to share and snack on so everyone could enjoy the variety of flavors and textures. Hands down a must try when you're in town because you will be hooked and want to stop in every visit!

Such a cute little cafe! The owners are very kind, and they serve authentic Italian/ French coffee, pastries, and sandwiches! It's air conditioned and has 3 round tables and chairs and a cute little bench. Service was quick! I tried a little croissants with a cream filling inside that was delicious. You can tell that everything is made with love. Very clean, plus LGBTQ friendly! Definitely coming back!

Pain Au Chocolat and Pistacchio Cornetto

The pastries and coffee here are SO GOOD. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and eager to talk to you about their goods! There are a lot of French foods and drinks that are like directly out of a French cafe. We got a Pain Au Chocolate and a Pistachio Cornetto and they were better than any pastry I've had. We also got an Orangina and a small Caprese sandwich (on a bun, not baguette). The sandwich was light and fresh and was perfectly paired with the Orangina, which is an orange carbonated drink. Don't go here expecting a Starbucks experience, the ambiance, service, and quality are much higher.

Cappuccino, real flowers, and good selections.

French and Italian spoken here. Cappuccino and latte fantastic. Nutella croissants as well as plenty of protein croissants I highly recommend. Non-assuming and worth finding.

I've been trying to come here and finally I did it! High expectations are surpassed easily. Everything is amazing. Great flavors, friendly and unbelievably kind staff and cute atmosphere. Le Parisien is very simple ham and cheese baguette sandwich, but all ingredients are carefully chosen and prepared, even butter. The Italian owner kindly gave me a piece of sofficini, a little crispy and savory pastry. Sooooo delicious! She said their tomato sauce is real Italian recipe, I definitely recognized the quality. I regret not buying them because I already ordered many, but will be back to get them very soon. Located right next to Trader Joe's in Cat City. Highly recommended!!

It was close to end of day so I was quick to browse the offerings before placing my sandwich order. Ended up getting a Caprese and Parma on focaccia. The staff seemed preoccupied with Cleaning but did their best to get my sandwich order out fast. I've heard nothing but good things about this place but this is my first time. I asked the lady behind the counter for a popular favorite recommendation and she seemed confused and just said everything was good. Two sandwiches around $40 so I was hoping for something great. Unfortunately we agreed that the taste was good, but nothing amazing and probably not what we were expecting for the price. Everything fell just a little bit flat. It wasn't bad but it wasn't memorable either. I ended up drizzling balsamic vinegar on the Caprese at home since they only put olive oil and a little bit of pesto on the bread and the whole thing just felt lacking ever so slightly. The shop itself was clean and well kept and had a lot to offer so I still recommend stopping by and browsing for Italian goodies. Just not my favorite sandwich spot. Maybe we will try something else another day or just stick to the pasta!

Although the sandwiches are really really the hit! I drive an hour and a half to eat here. Their focaccia bread is the softest well flavored bread I've ever eaten. And yes, i dream about it sometimes. Service was great and fast, everyone was friendly. Will be back!

We made 4 transactions over 2 days that definitely added up to just shy of $200. The cashier that was a young guy was great because he told us that there was actually a 2nd location not too far away that made specialty coffee drinks & ice cream. We rushed over there to try the ice cream & I also ordered the matcha with lavender that they make that tastes authentic, the flavor was incredible, (not like the fake stuff that the most famous coffee place on earth sells that smells funny). The cashier at the other location was super kind, knowledgeable, & very easy to talk to, I asked several questions & was indecisive before placing my order yet she was patient & friendly. The guy that made my ice cream came over to ask me if I would like blueberries with the strawberries in the shortcake ice cream, it was some of the best vegan ice cream that I've ever tried, along with excellent customer service, I highly recommend going there. We were visiting all the way from Vegas & tried Chef Tanya's because we were actually staying in Pioneertown for a show & there aren't any vegan restaurants in the area so we had to drive to Palm Springs. Overall it's pretty good, they have a lot of choices for food & it's also a small store with interesting food & decorative items, I bought some vegan chocolate caramels that are made from coconut instead of dairy.

I also love their little store section with the faux meats, seasonings, and merchandise. I ordered the bowl of chili, the Chupacabra sandwich and the Guadalajara burger. The chili was so flavorful and I enjoyed learning that they use Rancho Gordo beans. The Guadalajara burger had great toppings but as much as I try, I'm not the biggest fan of Tempeh. The chupacabra sandwich was good, the menu said that the 'chicken' is thinly sliced, I didn't realize just how thin it is. I think I would have preferred if it were slightly thicker and less cabbage. There was so much cabbage that it overpowered the rest of the sandwich. Overall, I think this place is a gem and I'd like to try their other menu items.

It's the kind of sandwich you have to take a second to look at before figuring out how to eat it. With a recent expansion to their space in Cathedral City, this location has become a gathering place for Filipinos in the Coachella Valley area. Thus we went out of our way to find this place for dinner. I found it to be mixed, and can't really recommend their food. It's a nice space inside, with a fast casual setup (order and pay first, and the food is brought to you when ready). It wasn't particularly friendly when we first arrived to the empty restaurant, but it got better as we ordered and ate. Cheesesteak Philly Style ($15.99) and Apong's Special Philly Style ($16.99). They come with fries, with an upcharge of $1 for cheese. Both had grilled mushrooms and onions mixed with the chopped steak. The Apong's special adds both cheese whiz and american cheese to the standard provolone. Both are served on Amoroso rolls from Philadelphia, which is genuine, but not particularly fresh when brought in daily. (the rolls tasted a bit stale to me). The amount of meat given could induce a hungry person to order a double portion as well, though it was just right this day. I definitely like my cheese steak with cheese whiz, and this version confirmed that (though if not offered, a good dallop of mayo is good as well, mixed with the melted provolone). Strangely, the showstring fries were the most disappointing part of the meal for me...fries can be good if the right effort is made, but that wasn't the case here. They had been deep fried a while before, and had been sitting in a warmer until served to us...thus were dried out and pretty flavorless. With what we ordered, a new batch of freshly made fries would have gone a long way to put us in a good mood, especially for dine-in. Chicken Mami Soup ($14.99) - a large bowl of chicken soup. For this price, would have hoped for something more homemade. The broth was fine, but seemed to be made from either canned chicken broth (benefit of doubt) or more likely chicken powder. Also used dried spaghetti noodles, which is not something I seek out. It did have pieces of white meat (breast) and fresh chopped vegetables like cabbage and carrots. Tasted fine, but wasn't particularly hearty. Reminded me very much of saiman, except for the price. Halo-Halo ($14.99) - it was good. Few beans (which is often used as filler), but instead large pieces of sweet plantains. It also had plenty of condensed milk and two large scoops of ice cream (both ube and vanilla). Used crushed ice, instead of shaved, which does make a big difference in consistency, but understand it's harder to do since time consuming. Apong means grandmother in Ilicano, which is the third most spoken native language in the Philippines, after Tagalog and Cebuano. The owners and workers seemed to be originally from that region; and it's really nice to use such a nice term of endearment for their endeavor.
