They had lots of snacks and treats for humans too. The gentleman ahead of me in line asked if he could have a dog treat. The smiling gentleman at the register whips out a big container of the giant sized dog treats as if it was some super sized dog trick or treat. I was next. He says," Take two." Smiling and laughing. Pleasant, happy elevator music was playing and any other time I would have bought snacks but was in a bit of a rush. Never have I reviewed a gas station. This Shell was truly exceptional. One of the few simple courtesies was always being able to use the air pump. Suddenly, that's been taken away unless you buy gas right then, with the attendant blaming the owner. It's petty, short-sighted, and shows zero appreciation for repeat customers. They'll lose far more in revenue from us (and others we know) than they'll ever gain from nickel-and-diming people over air.

I go every day for my soda refill. When I went to the counter and told the lady it was a "soda refill", she replied "no". I tried to explain there was soda in my Yeti 32oz tumbler. She said "no, it is too large for a refill". And then rang it up as $2.99! I questioned the price and said it was twice the normal amount. She asked what the other stores charge and I told her "$1.49 - it's a refill". She then became even more rude and said I was wrong and that they are doing it all wrong and losing money. If by "doing it wrong" she means that the other stores are nice to their customers and want them to return, then she is right, because I will NEVER return to this awful 7-11 ever! (And she didn't even ring it up as a drink, so I didn't even get the app's benefits.) I should have poured it out, but by this point I just wanted to leave the toxic environment! On the (only) plus side... the diet coke mix was pretty good.

They were two grown perfectly capable men not capable of emptying a trash can alone. One was holding a trash bag and they in tandem emptying trash cans. I turn around to pump gas. All of a sudden I hear 2 grown men screaming "Mam" in a chorus as if they were one unit. I didn't turn because the gas station was full of people and they were screaming from ten feet away. Finally I turned and they screamed at me "could you move" but the car had already driven by. Then they kept loudly coming by my pump and saying "have a nice day" in voices and tones that basically meant anything but. Upsetting my dog. I think this is pretty typical behavior for them. And I would not employ them at any Costco or anywhere they interact with a customer.
