Never thought I would review a 7/11 but here we are. I hate when you want a slurpee and your favorite flavor has the red light on which means don't use unless you just want syrup. This 7/11 had all the flavors in order and I even picked up a lotto ticket(didn't win). The other thing that struck me was they had a regular come in and the woman behind the cash register started grabbing the hot dog(glizzy if you are a young person) for the customer. That is pretty cool. This location seemed well stocked too and there wasn't any loitering outside which is rare. Walked over to Crack Taco shop to grab something to eat. I'm planning on dropping that review tomorrow so be on the lookout. read more

Worst 7-11 EVER! I put 1 star because 0 was not an option! I visited this 7-11 (102 Leucadia Blvd) yesterday because my normal 7-11's soda machine was out of order. I go every day for my soda refill. When I went to the counter and told the lady it was a "soda refill", she replied "no". I tried to explain there was soda in my Yeti 32oz tumbler. She said "no, it is too large for a refill". And then rang it up as $2.99! I questioned the price and said it was twice the normal amount. She asked what the other stores charge and I told her "$1.49 - it's a refill". She then became even more rude and said I was wrong and that they are doing it all wrong and losing money. If by "doing it wrong" she means that the other stores are nice to their customers and want them to return, then she is right, because I will NEVER return to this awful 7-11 ever! (And she didn't even ring it up as a drink, so I didn't even get the app's benefits.) I should have poured it out, but by this point I just wanted to leave the toxic environment! Indian guy tried to scam us. I gave him a lottery slip that I forgot to add the last number and he handed me a ticket for other numbers. The cashier refused to turn air for me to inflate the low tire in my car... unless i pump gas. Air is free! Terrible attitude like i was asking for a payday loan. Won't go back to this gas station for any reason. read more

This place seems dark on the inside and somewhat small. The prices are the same as elsewhere and the employees are okay. They have a nice size gas station but it's not the easiest to get into. I usually come here because they have an ATM that is always working. read more

This is a fairly average 7-Eleven in my book. However, I definitely am a fan of 7-Elevens... On our way to a wedding in Encinitas, we stopped in 7-Eleven so I could grab a protein shake... I chose a strawberries and cream muscle milk and it was hard to drink down... Happily, I also bought a lotto ticket which I scratched after the wedding. I won $4 which I will have to redeem :) So, our trip was not so unlucky after all! Yes, Jeff had his appendix out. Yes, I fractured my jaw. I come here in the early morning to buy lunch. The selection is good & they have healthy alternatives. The breakfast options in the cooler are my choice; Chobani yogurt cups. Bananas are always fresh. Ice is typically well stocked in both small & large bags. Plenty of parking & the corner location makes it easy to get in & out. read more

TLDR: For bathroom use: Get back on Leucadia and head to I-5. The Chevron at the ramp has clean bathrooms and great staff. Went in to ask to use the bathroom. Was referred to outdoor port-a-potty. I checked it out but it was too dark to see inside at 12:30am. I came back in to ask where else I could go nearby and the guy was rude, suggesting I did not and/or could not actually locate the port-a-potty. ???? It's 40 feet from the entrance? I think he was in a bad mood and either not listening to me or pretending I was hard to understand. (I have no accent.) He didn't want to suggest where else I could go, so I left. read more

Your signs and various advertising clearly state you offer the $1 coffee for rewards members. I have stopped by 3 times now on my way to work recently and have been charged $1.39 for my small coffee, in my own cup, with my rewards program. The girl behind the counter was extremely rude when I pointed it out and refused to correct the mistake, just shrugged her shoulders and said it was my problem. It's .39 cents and I really don't care that much but for it to happen every visit - if you don't offer the $1 coffee then you really shouldn't be promoting it. I'll visit the one up the road on the 101 instead where the service is impeccable and the staff are amazingly friendly and actually trained to use their POS system correctly! read more

These guys saved me on a super long bike ride (50+ miles). The staff here is super friendly and they give off a really local friendly vibe. I was running on empty and they were my turn around spot. I realized that I had forgotten my wallet and was totally screwed. The staff hooked me up with a quick refill of powerade from the fountain in my sports bottle. Now obviously this doesn't really cost 7-11 any real money and they have bigger losses from their stale donuts they throw out everyday, but still this was an nice gesture and it made me a fan. Everything else is just normal convenient store 7-11 stuff. Obviously don't get one of the spinning hotdogs of death, but if you need something quick and convenient hit this place. read more

Two star, average place, extra star for location and gas prices.. a little awkward getting in and out of pumping area because it's time and right by the driveway. The other day, the number zero on pump #1 was out of order, which made it impossible to punch in zip code when trying to use credit card..I had to go inside.
