I decided on a bagel with cream cheese and asked the barista for a coffee recommendation. She said her favorite was the Salty Goat so I went with that. She then informed me that they were unfortunately out of cream cheese so I ordered a danish instead. There was a man behind the counter and he asked if i planned to stay for at least 20-30 min. I said yes. The danish was brought to my table nice and warm and it was delish. The coffee, which I ordered hot, was also delicious. About 15 minutes later the barista brought me a perfectly toasted bagel with cream cheese and said the owner said it was on the house. I think he ran out to purchase some cream cheese just for us! (I think it was Billie Joe himself) I was so impressed. If you're looking for a clean, good vibes, great coffee and great customer service you gotta go to Billie Joes!

I'm not entirely sure about the name of the drink I received, but I mentioned to the kind gentleman that I prefer sweet beverages, and he certainly delivered. One empanada is a perfect snack but you can go up to two if you're eating them for a meal! Everyone who works here is kind and the ambiance is generally quiet and great for working. Most tables keep the volume low (think library rules). Outlet tables are at a premium though so make sure to get there early or be willing to wait for one to open up. This cafe also hosts community events at night! They have a silent book club each month and recently seem to have added art classes. Plus, they have board games available all through the day. Overall, great community spot and you should stop by!

There was a bit of a line but it went reasonably quickly. Upon entry, you grab a tray and tongs, then make your way down the line of self-serve enclosed glass cases with shelves of fresh good. We chose a savory breakfast sandwich, an Almond Croissant and another sweet pastry. In line, the offered to heat our sandwich which we allowed. Then we ordered coffees, paid and sat down. A few minutes later, we walked back up to collect our coffees. The breakfast sandwich was tasty, though the ham and cheese in the center of the sandwich was untouched by the heating process. Next time, we'll ask for a longer heating cycle. The pastries were good. Not as good as made that morning in Paris, but better than most places we've been in the US. We also took some dessert pastries home for later that same night. My wife's was sort of ho-hum but mine was fabulous. I had what I guess would be a cro-nut?? Sort of like a doughnut that was made in layers of pastry, then cut out with a donut cutter. It had a filling in the center and had a sugary coating. SO GOOD! We'll be back to Paris Baguette and we'll try other items and for sure, we'll ask for our heated items to be heated a bit longer.

There is even a little seating area for children to sit and read or play. The staff was polite and helpful. We ordered with ease. I like that there is plenty of seating areas inside, two different outside patios downstairs, seating on a second level and another huge patio area upstairs. To get upstairs, you can take the stairs or use the elevator. Besides beverages, you can purchase pastries and merchandise such as t-shirts. This is definitely one of those little shops to come, sit and work while you sip your tea or coffee. It's Uber cute and trendy. Check it out!!
