The parking area is poorly planned and makes me feel like a fender bender is just waiting to happen. All of the exits and entrances to this parking lot feel dangerous. There are always homeless people bugging out near the doors and parking areas. Inside the building you still kind of feel on edge. I only stop here if I desperately need something. read more

Everyone told me I should stop by and try 7-11 food because it's actually pretty good.. I was hesitant at first because where I'm from, you don't eat from gas stations. I took the plunge though and all I can say is wow. Is it the best food? No. Coming from a gas station though, I'm very impressed. The food was fresh, super flavorful. That curry chicken manapua was DELICIOUS. The bun wasn't soggy at all which is what I was expecting. Everyone working tonight was very friendly and gave us great suggestions on popular items. 11-20-21 First time we came to this 7-Eleven. Used the Yelp app to find the nearest one as we needed a quick bite between 2 soccer games. We had only brought drinks in a cooler to the field and some snacks. We ordered 5 spam musubis for the grandkiddies, their parents & hubs. I know Yelp Elite Fran has posted the garlic chicken musubi and I've tried one once at the closest one to where we live. Hubs said only had the mochiko chicken one and it was the last one. The buggah was roundish, large and the nori couldn't surround its girth. As soon as I started to remove the wrapper the rice started falling apart then the chicken followed. Ai yah!!!!what a mess. Perhaps that one missed the mark on quality nori control. I did pick up the grains & chicken off my shirt and ate it. I've got to say I think the garlic chicken is more flavorful and kept its wholeness. The 5 that had the spam musubi ate it without a word. It held us till the second game was done, about 3 hours later then we needed to eat and drink something by then. Sitting in the hot sun in the height of its power between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 pm can zap you. The food was okay, except I found a sticky white substance that happened to be a little salty in my spam musubi. When I asked the worker he said "don't ask me little man." Safe to say I didn't appreciate being called little man. I'll have you know I'm a whopping 5'1. So that made me feel pretty insecure and upset. It's a hard life as a 5'1 235lb 35 year old. Stopped by yesterday morning around 8:30am to grab a musubi to eat and around 1:30pm i started feeling nauseous and ended up throwing up. I think this is the location I go to the most since it's convenient to all the jobs I've had. Its right by Moanalua Shopping Center and KFC on Bougainville. It's a small location but usually pretty well stocked. This location is super busy if you come early in the morning before work. I usually stop by here for a quick snack or if I want ice cream. The workers here are always friendly too. Quick stop for a quick bite. Ok there's tons of 7-Elevens on island but this one is the Moanalua mall. It seems the only time I go here is o-dark hundred. Like just before 0500. I come here to either get breakfast, something for lunch, or both. Regardless I always get the coffee. It's cheap and not too bad. The store has a great habit to fill all their pots. I want to say they have about 8 coffee pots along with that mocha dispenser machine. Can't go wrong with either choice but I prefer Pure Choice coffee. Now that I wrote that, the pot might be empty next time I'm there. Thanks yelpers. They have plenty of pre-made sandwiches but the limited selection is always chicken, ham/turkey & cheese, tuna, peanut butter, or egg. Luckily there are plenty of other options for food. Noodles, soups, all kinds of katsu, and Japanese treats. Need something quick come here. Overall three stars. For food selections and small toiletries, you have plenty of options. Been here several times with my kids. But this morning was exceptional. Paid for my things and the cashier next to us was talking to the customer. He said, "That's a new one." I guess was a new drink flavor. He smiled and kept ringing him up. I walked back to get more napkins. He walked past me and greeted another customer. Said something like, where's your other half. She replied, right behind me. And he greeted and smiled at her as well. It made me smile, that this man who worked at 7-11 loved his job. He was pleasant, approachable and just a positive vibe. Both adult and child passes are available. They just replaced their payment systems for the chip cards, so recently they had a few glitches and it took a while to process the payments. However, things seemed to be faster today. This 7-Eleven is a bit hidden with it being right on the edge and sort of behind the popular strip mall here. This store is right next to the side of Pearl Harbor Elementary School. Being that this 7-Eleven is close to military housing, it is often frequented by military personnel. This 7-Eleven is right by my house. Occasionally I get the craving to have a slurpee. I have experienced it being on the not so clean side. Many times at least have of the slurpee flavors aren't working. It is convenient for me to go to. They do have plenty of stock on the hot food side as well as cold food. The pastry area always seems to be full, just the slurpees aren't always up to par. The workers are very nice and there are a few parking spaces in the front. Those who know me, know I love a good 7-11. This location was recently renovated and on the night I went, it was clean and well-stocked. I have 2 go to 7-Elevens this is one of them. The main purpose I go to this 7-Eleven is for water or an energy drink before work. They have a good variety of hot and cold grinds. I usually go to this place to buy a slurpee and a few snacks here and there. I went in there to get a slurpee and saw that a specific flavor had the red light on which from being a customer of 7-11 for 47 years know that that particular flavor is not ready for serving. I simply asked the customer service rep by the name of Evangeline if she knew HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE before the flavor became available again. She MISUNDERSTOOD what I said and told me, IF THE RED LIGHT IS ON YOU CAN'T GET THAT RIGHT NOW. I told her that's not what I asked, I asked "how long will it be before I can get this flavor again?" She replied, "I don't know, we don't know that kind of stuff." I was kind of appalled at the way she told me this. She was a wise ass and outright bitchy. First and foremost, as an 7-11 employee, you should know how long on average the flavor will take to refreeze. I'm sure they teach you that within your first few weeks as MANY people ask this time and time again. To spout out that "I don't know." is outright wrong. Accidentally dropped off the the high schoolers first this morning, so my youngest wasn't going to have time to have breakfast at school. We stopped here, hoping for better food than McDonalds and a quicker turn around. We weren't disappointed. Of course, they do have most things that are in convenience stores also. Oh and breakfast. They have little plates of breakfast in the morning at decent prices. they may be close to McDonalds and Jack in the Box, but I think 7-11's local style breakfasts are yummy! read more
