It's one of the best stops in town now to not only pick you up some musubis, but also some local manapua and pork hash too! One stop shop for beach bites! Grab some and stuff your cooler or lunch bag before a day in the water! Not only the local fare - but also your 7-11 standards like pizza, Big Bites, wings, and taquitos too! Honestly, gotta right up a review on the go to to-go spots on Maui, especially when theres only one on the island! The food variety is the real draw here. Bento boxes, musubi in every flavor you can think of (spam, ham, hot dog, chicken, my fave jumbo mochiko chicken), sushi, pork hash, manapua, plus your standard hot dog and burger setup for when you're not feeling adventurous. Pork hash is my go to, no question. Lup cheong manapua is a close second. I'll admit the char siu manapua has fallen off though. Used to be solid, now the filling comes out mushy and kind of flavorless. Feels like a recipe change somewhere down the line, and not for the better. Hoping they bring the old version back. Beyond the hot food, they've got a good lineup of local snacks too. Li hing mui gummies, li hing powder, mochi crunch, the works. Throw in f'real shakes, magazines, and a few toys for keiki, and it's honestly a solid last stop before the airport if you need snacks and something to keep the kids occupied on the flight home. Only thing holding this spot back is the crowd after dark or occasional homeless (never bothered me, but might for some) One more thing worth mentioning: they do catering too, with a few platter options at prices that make sense. THANK GOD FOR KAHULUI 7-11... the only 7-11 on Maui to soothe my soul. I've tried to get accustomed to Minit Stop but I just can't. ABC Store if I really have to, but rather not. Love 7-11, and wish there were more. Love, love, love the hot foods and cold snacks, everything always kept at the expected hot or cold temperature. I love the variety of snacks to choose from, and love that they have some chilled in case its something you don't necessarily want to eat at the moment, save it for later. Thank you for the great variety of musubi, pork hash, sushi, ice cream and manapua. Only other great place for musubi is Foodland, but 7-11s variety is better. I don't touch musubi from anywhere else, because they don't compare, and turns out to be a waste of money and expectations. 7-11 does it just right. No trip to Maui is complete without stopping at the only 7-11 on the island for some musubis and jalapeño pork siu mai! Located 5-minutes from the airport, this was our first stop when arriving and our last stop before heading back to the airport. We tried a variety of their musubis from the traditional, Kimchee fried rice, fried chicken and egg/spam musubis. They all run between $2.55-3.50. For being at a 7-11, these are some of the tastiest musubis we had on the trip. The new thing we loved was their jalapeño pork hash dumplings (their version of siu mai), and I could honestly eat 10 of these things in one seating, they are that good! Now if you told me that I would be saying that going to 7-11 was the highlight of my trip to Maui, I would've looked at you sideways; however, I am here to attest that 7-11 on the island goes crazy! I legit came here on three separate occasions throughout my stay. I could pop their spam musubis like tic tacs all day long (actually I think I did cause I lost count of how many I consumed. Lol). Tbh if I actually lived here I'd probably stop here to get their $3 misubi and Coke combo every day after work. Lord help me! From the pork adobo with fried rice and scrambled eggs, to the spicy shrimp katsu musubi, to the char siu pork manapua, to the ube bulilit ... everything here was just so fuckin' goodt; like all of it! (Not good but GOODT with a t!) I also want to make a note about how much cleaner the inside of this 7-11 was compared to the ones back on the mainland. Like y'all know how all 7-11s have "that" smell? ... THIS ONE DIDN'T! Decided to come here since I needed a post-workout snack. I was told that this was the only 7-11 in the entire island. In terms of parking there are maybe 10 parking stalls and it's not the best designed lot. I came late at night and most of the stalls were full. I can only imagine how busy it will get during the rush. Inside it's a normal convenience store setup and some of the more popular items were sold out. Pricing was pretty good compared to other local convenience stores. It really helped that I had the Hawaii 7-11 app. If the line got too long, I was able to do a scan and go. They've got actual items from the Japanese 7-Elevens (which I recognize from the packaging) so if you're on the hunt for some japanese snacks, this is the place. I have written numerous reviews of our local 7-Eleven convenience stores throughout da 808, as I think I am 7-Eleven's numba #1 Garlic Chicken Musubi fan!!!! Lol! This past Wednesday when I was working on Maui, I stopped by the 7-Eleven store in Kahului to get a bottled water and a Garlic Chicken Musubi. The Spicy Garlic Chicken Musubi was pretty spicy, and garlicky good! Yum! Yum! My only wish is that I should have bought two of these bad boys! Service here is efficient, and da aunties were pretty friendly. Parking here can be difficult at times, as this 7-Eleven store on Maui is pretty busy, and there is limited parking spaces in the private parking lot. I was surprised that 7/11 ended up being a place we went to multiple times when we were in Maui. There's only one location on the entire island and it's open 24/7. This is no ordinary 7/11 that is in the US and offers a variety of different pre made Hawaiian food, such as masubis, rolls, buns, and bento boxes. It's great to get a quick bite to eat and I absolutely loved the masubis and rolls here; I definitely recommend trying the miso salmon masubi and the spicy ahi dynamite roll. We picked these up throughout our trip and they were a great thing to have on the go and we're SO delicious. If you're a fan of ube, another thing I recommend and think are a must try are the ube cookies! The food here is also super cheap, which we appreciated. We ended up here on a desperate quest for food as the other 2 breakfast cafes we picked ended up being on "island time" (closed without notice) and we didn't want to waste more time driving around. First timers, my hubs and I quickly grabbed a ton of different things to try. We spent about $30-40 on breakfast, snack, and lunch for both of us for our long Road to Hana day. Taquitos - hot, crispy, salty deliciousness! Just like mainland 7-11 makes them - 4/5 Jalapeño pork hash shumai were delicious!!! Though a little on salty side. I'm a baby when it comes to spice, but I enjoyed the mild kick in these. - 4/5 Deluxe somen salad was decent, but a little on the sweet side. - 3/5 Hot local style saimin soup was nothing special, though I was impressed by the leak-proof packaging before it's heated - 1/5 Regret buy: 3-pc char siu Manapua. The charsiu filling was so tiny compared to bun and contained mostly chunks of fat and barely any meat. The bun had a big bubble spongey texture and was not soft, fine & fluffy like the Chinese bao buns we're used to. We reluctantly finished these only so they wouldn't go to waste. - 0/5 Our absolute favs were the spicy ahi dynamite sushi rolls and miso salmon kombu musubi. The complex flavors of spicy, seafood, and umami combined with the chewy rice and roasted seaweed are amazing!!! We loved them so much we came back on our last day to stock up on these for the long flight home. - 5/5 For on-the-go, the sushi rolls held up better since the rice was still soft even when cold. It might sound strange, but going to this 7-Eleven was one of the highlights of my vacation to Maui! Many people look confused when I tell them how much I loved getting food from here because, in Virginia, we only have foods like hot dogs and taquitos. However, there was a wide variety of food and snacks that I can't get at any other 7-Eleven, so my fiance and I made it a point to try several different things at the store. Our haul included spam musubi, several types of sushi, butter chicken, ube cookies, pork char siu bao buns (our favorite), and more. We were like kids in a candy shop, haha. It was all around $30, which is the most I've spent on food/snacks at a convenience store, but it was well worth it for the amount of food we got. Plus, everything was SO tasty! We came back the next day to get more of our favorites. If I were a resident, I'd legit come here several times a week to grab a bite to eat. This is the only 7/11 in all of Maui and it's open 24/7! Don't be fooled, this is no ordinary 7/11 in the US either as they offer bentos, musubis, buns, and dumplings like they do in Japan --except this is the Hawaiian version. I absolutely love all the Hawaiian goods you can get here. Trust me, this is a stop you want to make once or multiple times. Before our roadtrip to Road to Hana, we stopped by here to pick up breakfast and lunch at 6am. The place is already busy with people grabbing food before heading out to work. I ended up spending over $50 on musubis and buns here. There's a variety of musubis ranging from $2-4 each with options like spam, teriyaki spam, deluxe spam, spam katsu, shrimp katsu, and mochiko chicken musubis. I grabbed two of every kind and these were the perfect snack on the road, hiking, or wherever you are. We also got the Shrimp Pork Sui Mai ($6.49 for 6pcs) and Jalapeño Pork Sui Mai ($5.79 for 6pcs). These were filled with meat inside, but I'd pass on the jalapeño as it tasted more spicy than flavorful. Of course, we also had to get some Char Sui Buns ($2.09). These were a bit mushy on the inside, but still tasty and very fulfilling. This is the perfect stop for some yummy and affordable Hawaiian snacks on the go! read more

The only 7-Eleven in Maui. Luckily it's close to Costco, so if you're doing a Costco run, add on a 7-Eleven run. Store hours is 24/7, so it's a good last min/late night food spot. Plenty of good quick snack pick ups. I actually prefer their musubi over Foodland's, more flavor, less rice. They have the musubi heated and in the fridge area. The best one is their mochiko chicken, spam deluxe is probably their runner up. Their worst one is probably the spam katsu, it's a great idea but poor execution. None of the panko breadcrumbs are crunchy, the outer layer is just mushy. Another good quick snack is their saimin, it has pieces of scrambled egg, charsiu. Not the greatest, but it's very convenient to have, just needed to be microwaved and voila! I've also tried their pork hash, it's like heated up frozen siumai. The jalapeno pork one was interesting, but I wouldn't rush here just for that item. They also carry some cute non-food goodies. They had these insulated lunch bags with cartoon of all of the local foods! Cute but do I really need one? Nah. Does your friends want one? Maybe. read more

Quick and easy meals. Closest to 7-Eleven Japan you can find in the states. I think this is one of the few if not the only one on this island. It has all your quick go-tos from bentos, buns, hot foods, musubis, and rolls. No frills grab and go perfect for hikes or just hanging out at the beach. HOE (HEAVEN ON EARTH). If the 7-eleven in Hawaii is this amazing, I think I might actually die of happiness if I go to one in Japan. So many things to choose from in the refrigerated section. The ramen is astoundingly good. My favorite prepared meal was the kaluha pork and cabbage. Don't sleep on the food in the warmer! Their shumai are better than the ones I get at dimsum, and CHEAPER TOO. Plus this place is open 24/7!! Got off the plane, grabbed my Turo, drove to the 7-Eleven and boy was I in for a couple of surprises. One, everyone and I mean everyone was in line for spam musubi or a steamed bbq bun? They have a different name in Hawaii but that's basically what it was. They even had shumai! There prepared food and hot foods was plentiful. A lot of options to be had. There were probably up to 10 different varieties of Misubi. I grabbed a bunch but nothing beat the original. It was perfection in one bite. Savory, a hint of sweetness, the ocean from the seaweed, and of course the comfort from the rice. We revisited 7-Eleven many more times during my trip to Hawaii. There were more locations in Oahu. Out of ALL of the places in Maui, we stopped by 7-Eleven the most! LOL This is the only 7-Eleven on the island!!! Stopped by on the way to the beach, on the way to Hana, on the way home from fancy dinner in case we needed emergency food late night at the hotel, on the way to the airport.. etc.,! Their musubi is the best on the island out of the places that we've tried (island gourmet, other grocery chains) and everything is so conveniently packed. The karaage chicken is so good and covered with this sauce that is to die for, the manapua buns are soft and flavorful. I wish we were able to try the korean taquitos, but they weren't in stock everytime we went. The seimen noodles and sukiyaki udon were alright IMO, but nice as a quick meal. Never would I have thought that I would be reviewing a 7-11 for it's food but here I am doing just that. There is a huge selection of ready to eat food available across these Hawaiian 7-11 and thankfully I stopped at this one to experience it. The store has separate sections for both hot and cold food selections. The cold food area contained rice meals, desserts, noodles, salads, sandwiches, rolls, and rice balls. The hot section (heat lamp) had a much more limited selection of the same items but only included things like musubi, rolls, sandwiches, and some container meals. They also offer some hot dim sum items here such as siu mai and bao. I grabbed two items: a deluxe spam musubi and a spicy shrimp katsu musubi roll. The deluxe spam musubi is your typical spam musubi with the addition of an egg and furikake sprinkled on top of the rice. You can really never go wrong with these. The shrimp katsu roll was pretty much what was expected. Though both items were good, next time I would stick with the deluxe spam musubi due to the cost of the two items (shrimp katsu about a $1 more). Definitely a great place for a quick snack or even a full meal on the go. Tl;dr: huge selection of quick snacks, limited hot items, deluxe spam musubi is great. read more
