This location is much newer than the others so it always feels clean and spacious. I just seen they got the new flavors for Slurpee. I had to try the Melon Mochi. It was so good! The worker behind the counter was really nice. He greeted us walking in, rang us up, and thanked us after we made our purchase with a big smile. It's refreshing as we don't always see such energy at a convenience store. I'll continue to come here for my slurpee cravings.

In addition this is the store that hooked me on to the Friday $5 bentos by upselling me... did you try it tastes good etc I also want to shout out Nenita the asst manager she is so friendly and I can tell loves her job and I am sure she is a big reason why other staff seem to like their job and care about customers.... Never did she acknowledge that I was waiting. When she got off the phone she just stood at the counter. I pressed the button so she knows I'm there. She then picked up the phone & said just a minute- not even turning around. No thank u for waiting. I could see someone walk up - which she helped first. Though she said they were there before me. Very rude. This pharmacy has poor customer service & I'm not getting my prescriptions from here again!

Walgreen had stores in Nuuanu, Market City and near Ala Moana (Flagship store) which are now closed! Walgreen have some items others stores may not offered. Good to see some different items since they have different buyers and distributors. Great they have a 24 hour drive through pharmacy. You can always get your prescription any time of the day! My friend likes their manual toothbrushes since only a few places still sell " firm" toothbrushes. Walgreen offered vast variety of handicap and health home products and test kits. You have to check out their dollar section aisle which is cool at the Kaneohe and Kalihi locations that I'm aware of. You may find mouth washes, drink mix packets, can of soups, zippered bags, soap and more in the dollar section! it's such a bargain price! They have reasonable toilet paper prices for their brand. If you're like me, the 1-ply toilet paper is perfect for those who like to use so much for one use. I'm a fan of the big jug of decaf diet Arizona drink. They have a reward program and can get their Walgreen's app on your phone and start savings. One of their store brand is "Nice" and I usually buy their snack/nuts from there also Worth checking it out, never know what you would find. 09/24/22 was the last day to use the coupon book since they are going all digital savings. You can't walk into hygienic without feeling the sense of Aloha. From ethnic foods like pasteles to modern treats like Icees there's something here for everybody. The staff treats everyone with Aloha. Personally, I get Kava here every couple of weeks. Their Kava is the second best I've ever had, and the Fiji variety of Kava is particularly good. I was pleased to learn that they carried Kava, so I don't have to drive to Kalihi to get it, which is a relief because I'm an old fut who does not like driving in to Honolulu. They are just a 5 to 10 minute drive from Haiku Woods, so it's my preferred place to get Kava. If you live here their goods all have local appeal. If you're just visiting Honolulu, Hygienic store is a great place to get the feel of local culture and maybe discover a couple of new favorite foods.

Gas And More Gas…read more This small gas station is across right next to Windward Square with Adelas Country Eatery. The lady inside here was very friendly, she asked where I was from and told me where to eat and more importantly, where NOT to eat lol. Its very tight inside and there was a hot dog spinnin in the hot dog roller (didn't wanna take a pic of the hot dog because well it was close quarters and I felt a little shy lol). Even saw some bean burritos! (Gas and more Gas anyone?) Seemed to be a lot of variety for a small mart! I really appreciate the pleasant conversation I had in here though, I find some gas station attendants either robotically mum or grouchy lol. i tried to get free covid tests kits by submitting my insurance info on the walgreens website…read more after waiting two hours, i called them and was greeted by an incredibly unhelpful automated customer service bot, forcing me to go in person, only to find out that i cant even get the test kits at this location, even though it was listed on their website. the only good thing i can say is that the pharmacy staff were polite and answered my questions quickly. but the experience was overwhelmingly frustrating
