My husband is traveling for work and the hours he is working are very early and food options are pretty scarce at that time of day. He was hungry and needed to get something before starting his shift and so he stopped by the local 7-Eleven. The food options this 7-Eleven had were definitely not like the ones back here in the lower 48! The store was bright and clean and very well kept. He picked up a chicken curry katsu, and a Portuguese sausage musubi. He said they were both very good. With limited options at certain times of the day, he said this was definitely a decent choice and said he might be back again before the end of his trip.

Hawaii 7-Eleven is hands down much better than the mainland. Everything is so good and affordable. I always stop by to grab food to take to the beach! Service at this location was good and no issue with the environment!

I have had many 7-11 musubis all over the island but this place, the items were at a fabulous hot temperature. I've definitely eaten a few that were "warm" at best but when a 7-11 store keeps their food hot, I appreciate it! This is great for food safety and I truly wish all 7-11s were like this. Good location for those driving past with a few parking stalls, well staffed, and convenient.

7-10-21 hoping to try the garlic chicken musubi

7-10-21 While working,Hubs used to go to 7 Eleven nearly every morning for coffee. Before flights he would also pick up an occasional spam musubi for us to eat. Before proceeding to town hubs and Doc decided to stop here. I mentioned that Yelp Elite Fran had written about garlic chicken musubi. When they came out Doc had bought lup cheong bun, hot dog musubi, and a couple garlic chicken musubis. I stayed in the car as there was a homeless man camped out by the front door and since past incidents twice before, I choose to avoid the situation all together. I tasted and enjoyed a chicken musubi. Holy macaroni! my world was rocked! It felt toasty warm and tasted moist with scrumptious perfectly cooked rice. Biggest musubi fit my entire palm and then some. The chicken was generous and tender. I didn't taste the garlic but Doc said even after she ate hers she could taste it. I said, this could be a person's meal. But if you are BNL, it would make a satisfying snack... yum!

Went here for spam musubi and they do not disappoint. We got the DELUXE and TERIYAKI SPAM MUSUBI from the warmers and they hit the spot. the deluxe has egg too so that was my particular favorite. Make sure you try their MANAPUA (we got the CHAR SIU). The bread right off the warmer was amazing and melts in your mouth. Of course my husband was super excited about their chip section from Japan. That was a big treat for him so I had to post this pic. The employees behind the counter were super nice and friendly. Thank you so much! We appreciate you ladies for making us feel welcome.

Ok so the 7-11 in Hawaii are not nearly what 7-11 in Japan is! However, it's getting better! I love the convenience of it all. They are finally offering more options in the food and snack department. I see an array of Japanese chips with furikake! Delicious! The cookies too! So many options to choose from however my favorite is the fish musubi . This pudding with the coffee jello is tasty and the pudding has a consistency of flan. If you love coffee I think you'll like this. Not overly sweet and the size keeps it simple so you don't over do it! Cause that fish musubi is huge! Go to 7-11 and see what they have to offer!

Happy Aloha Friday! My very first time here at this 711 and I am very impressed. Due to Covid 19, I did a meet up here and I was 5 minutes early so I went in to 711 to browse around, super wow! I actually enjoyed my quick visit at this 711. Super nice & organized. I noticed lots of new items that I've never seen before or is it only this 711 location? Unless it's been awhile since I last stop at a 711, Since when did they have Longanisa spam musubi? There is a 20 oz drink & spam musubi special for $1.99. I also noticed the Ubae products, Haulolo, provolone cheese & Genoa salame/Jimmy Dean mini pancake sausage combo snack size package & so much more. What really caught my eyes were the udon cup o noodles @ only .88, my first time seeing this product so I grabbed the last 3 on the shelf. I love cup o noodles, which is one of my weakness. I am curious to see how the udon cup o noodle taste. I also noticed the green tea wafer ice cream sandwich, which I must have!, also available in 2 other flavors. Overall I am very impressed with this 711. I will definitely be back when I am in the area or heading around the island. My opinion, this is the best 711 convenient store. The overall 4 stars rating is legit, this is going to be my favorite 711! Oh & besides filling up on food, snacks, sweets, drinks, & alcohol, You can fill up on gas too! which is by Hele Gas.

Caramel macchiato blended drink (medium for $2.99) and a frozen wafer ice cream sandwich

This location is on Ukee Street, near Costco Waipio. I love this 7-Eleven! They have tons of food options, and the store is clean and well stocked. 7-Eleven is my go-to place when I need a spam musubi for a quick snack- theirs are big, reasonably priced, and the rice is cooked just right. I recently tried their caramel macchiato blended drink (medium for $2.99), which you order from the touch screen vending machine. Half the fun was watching the milk, coffee, and ice get dispensed into the cup, then blended. And it was delicious! It wasn't overly sweet and milky like many blended coffee drinks, and it had a very strong coffee flavor.

Spam musubi from a 711.... why the heck not

Spam masubi from a 711? Why the heck not! It wasn't too bad! Do proceed with caution though... I may or may not have ended up on the toilet

It's funny how these little adult decisions become so exciting. The world is our oyster, we get to decide what color trash cans we want, what store we shop at, and how much we're willing to spend based on our budget. This is adulting, y'all! As for trash bags, Walgreens is my go-to because they're so affordable. Unfortunately, tonight my shopping trip got cut short because they were doing maintenance on the lights. The machinery was incredibly loud, and it started giving me a headache, so I couldn't browse every aisle like I usually do. That was definitely a bummer. I will say, though, I enjoyed checking out the alcohol prices. I'm currently putting together a mini bar cart for my room, and Walgreens has some really good prices on their mini bottles. I'm looking forward to comparing prices at Longs Drugs, Foodland, and Costco before I finish stocking it. I'll definitely be back, as always, Walgreens.
