The store itself is conveniently located and generally fine, but I was really disappointed to see offensive t-shirts for sale. One in particular featured a semi-automatic weapon and a message targeting liberals -- it crossed the line from humor into poor taste, especially given how sensitive this topic is. As an Amazon driver who delivers packages to this location all the time (locker) the owner refused to allow me to use the restroom despite the fact he bragged about having his own "private bathroom". This 7-11 had THE weirdest smell when we walked in. Currently the sidewalk is closed around this store, and we werent sure the store was even open yesterday. There were some project managers on site, not sure if they are adding on to this store, changing it, or what... but it was chaos. It was hard to get to from across the parking lot, and just a bit inconvenient. Seriously though, it smelled like burning... I dont even know what. It was overwhelming. We grabbed some candy quick and got out of there. The store seemed clean enough, and the gal at the register was very friendly but I dont know what was in the air... This is probably one of the cleanest and nicest (by 7-11 standards) 7-11's I've been to. They are well-stocked in everything! The store is tiny, but they make ado with whatever space they have. There is a couple of refrigerated shelves of drinks, alcohol, water - shelves of snacks, finger food and a few racks of the typical "hot foods" - I think 7-11 is really trying to make a entry into the hot foods section and they are offering more and more - than just the usual fare of hot dogs. I don't think I've ever really noticed this 7-11 being here - must be new to the shopping center or I don't just ever venture down this side of the massive shopping plaza. The only downside was today when I came in on Friday evening, the clerk seemed preoccupied with something and didn't notice the stream of customers walking into the store. The line was a few people deep, but she was still stocking or something. It took someone upfront to find her and get her attention - but other than that, when I did see the clerk, she was very friendly and easy to talk to. So she made up for her error initially. On the plus side - for those who are members of a Credit Union - the ATM inside this 7-11 is a CO-OP ATM - which means you can get cash from your credit union account without incurring a fee. The only other ATM in the area that is fee-free is located inside Albertson's - within the same shopping plaza. Parking is tight during the day - but at night-time, this side of the shopping center is dead and so you only have to share parking spaces with the Starbucks next door. read more

This 7-Eleven is located in Westpark across from the Starbucks. I came here for the free Slurpee day. They had a new procedure where they had roped off a line for people to walk through to get them, and an employee would ask one which flavor they wanted. This new procedure was confusing at first, having never seen it before, but I believe it was more organized, yet some people did not follow these instructions and went around the other way. Either way, it made me less nervous when it came to receiving one. I scanned my app to get the coupon for another one in the future as well. read more

I have to be honest, like I never am brutally or anything... I was pissed off when these owners took over. I was accustomed to the employees already, They had their crap together and I knew it was gonna never meet my standards. I WAS WRONG. Ok, it happens. These new owners go above and beyond every day business. They know we , my husband, kids and I are all in there at some point daily, if not 3 times a day between the 4 of us and have our products ready to purchase on the counter. WHO DOES THAT these days without a previous order placed? These wonderful people do. M The owner ordered me a whole box of the chips I , bought there because I couldnt find them anywhere else. They are always happy to see you, even if theym1 really arent, (lol) and make people feel like family. Today sent them off the Richter scale on the above and beyond in my customer service book.. Litterally a herd of kids from Woodbridge were piled all throughout the store, the line to purchase was 25 deep, paying with change they took from mommy and daddy I'm sure, and the clerks took me up front and had my stuff ready. Thank you so much to the owners AND ALL STAFF. Especially our buddy that we took a plate of Thanksgiving dinner to. Your worker at 6:50 pm today 7/11/2022 told me and a bunch of other customers that we could not get the free slurpee offer because we were too late (offer ends at 7pm) and then when we pointed out that it was not 7pm yet, he says that they are out of slurped (also not true) and then that he was out of cups (yet he let me use a coffee cup and charged me for a small slurpee). Seems like he's went way out of his way to save a few dollars. Poor customer service and the store was poorly run and not very clean at all. Cups and lids strewn about. I have made many trips here whenever I get a craving for a sweet snack or a slurpee. The guys behind the counter are the usual crew you find at 7-11s. They're usually on their cellphones while working and not really paying attention to the customers. Surprisingly, they always seem to be able to multitask very well, cell phone in one hand, scan your items in other hand, and use that same hand to handle money and operate the register. All the while, they are having an extensive conversation on the phone about some girl they went out with the night before. I can't really give them less than 3 stars though because the service is par for the course. You walk into 7-11 knowing you will get bad service. It's sad, but true! read more

I came in here literally by accident; I was on the way to Starbucks and here's 7-eleven... I had to make a decision! OMG! so I went with the cheaper one. The folks in here are so sweet! I wanted a cold brew, and they didn't have any but suggested to get hot coffee and just add ice, that works for me! they had some cheese pizza fresh out of the oven, mmm! And my drink was free! I never thought I'd be writing a review for a 7-11, go figure! However, I think my experience warrants it. I was in the store last Sunday afternoon and had a problem with the cashier. While in the scheme of things, it was pretty minor, it bothered me nonetheless. So on Monday, I called 7-11's guest relation's line and, with receipt in hand, explained the event to the operator. She was polite, apologized, and was rather non-committal However, she did say that someone would get back to me within 3 - 5 days. On Tuesday (within 24 hours), I received a call from 7-11's regional office. The woman had already investigated my concerns to the point that she had reviewed video footage and spoke with the cashier! She took my issue seriously and was apologetic and I greatly appreciated that. We spoke for sometime and I when I got off the phone, I truly felt appreciated as a customer. If you can help it, DO NOT go to this 7-Eleven. I totally understand that working a convenience store sucks (as someone who's also worked multiple thankless minimum wage jobs), but the employees here could not give less of a damn. When I came in, there was a long line backed up because the employees were too busy chatting with each other. When it was finally my turn, I asked for the regular, small Big Bite hotdog for a quick boost before heading to my job, and it took the employee almost five minutes to grab it. I watched him open, inspect, and discard several buns, which either meant he kept ripping the buns, or they had something like mold on them (I HOPE NOT). When I did eventually get my food, it was the wrong kind of hot dog - a the quarter pounder (which I unfortunately did not notice until I paid for it). Deciding not to complain, I went to the condiments station, and it was FILTHY. Dried ketchup, mayo, and mustard were smeared all over the surface and had gotten into the onions and tomatoes. All the vegetables were mixed up, many drowned in this murky green juice. They were also shriveled and wilted, telling me the veggies hadn't been switched out for god knows how long. I went with plain ketchup to avoid any potential food poisoning. I feel so pretentious for complaining about a convenience store, but I live on the poorer side of Tustin, and it's astounding that our 7-Eleven is FAR better kept than one smack-dab in the middle of hoity-toity Irvine. read more

Worst customer service on 2/27. My 7 year old got a certificate from his jog a thon the day before and was to get a small free slurpee ! He was so excited!! We were buying other items as well and the gentleman at the front just showed us the certificate and said "it is expired you cannot have a free one!!!" He put my seven-year-old in tears so we left and will not return to the store which was such a convenience for us. Ok so I'm pretty much disregarding all the negative reviews on this as I'm writing this as I pretty much frequent this particular 7/11. I pretty much would come here after I workout at the local LA fitness or after I'm seeing some friends at the crossroads plaza. Ever since various 7/11 locations started serving pizza, I've pretty much made it a habit to go into the nearest 7/11 as I'm busing it around OC so it's not just this 7/11 I'm writing about, it's all of them I've been to. The only small minute reason why I left out one star is cuz sometimes the pizza is overdone but they've usually charged me for just one slice and sometimes even give me them for free and I appreciate getting the benefit of the doubt. 7-11 is another retail store chain struggling to stay in business. I live close to this location and the times Ive been in there I laugh at the price markup of every item--I only get Lottos. I can go online or to Walmart and every item is way cheaper. 7-11 is selling convenience--well I can go online and buy a item--thats convenient. 7-11 sells to people who are dumb and desperate who are too lazy to get the same item elsewhere for cheaper. read more
