These partially describe Aaron and Wyatt, 2 stellar young gentlemen and Starbucks employees who made us quickly forget about our experience at Reborn Coffee in Corona Del Mar. This is one of the busiest Starbucks I have been to in the US. They have a heavy mobile order volume and they are also slammed with the pre workday walk ins. I got to pick up 5 dark roast coffees plus an Americano; steamed whole milk and a variety of sweeteners on the side plus trays 5 days in a row for our racquetball team playing at an outdoor tournament in Huntington Beach. Aaron and Wyatt did a bang up job of not only ensuring that the entire coffee order was accurate but hot, well packed, complete and travel ready. They remembered to include the steamed milk in a cup plus extra sweeteners on the side every time. This was in the midst of catering to other mobile and in house orders and customers walking up and requesting changes or complaining. Aaron was also simultaneously helping and training a new employee Brie while doing all of the above. Yup this is Starbucks! Hats off to you Aaron and Wyatt. Never expect a full cup of this insanely expensive coffee. I have placed so many orders, and am disappointed every single time. If you order anything from this store that has whipped cream, just know you will only be getting half of cup of coffee and the other half whip cream. This picture was taken after I picked up my mobile order. My cup felt extremely light. I popped off the lid and it was full of whip cream. I stirred it so that the whip cream melted and I was finally able to see the little bit of coffee I paid for, $5.75 for this. I often frequent this Starbucks because it is right off of university on the 405 w a fairly cheap and clean gas station as well. Whenever I have gone, it is always clean and not too busy (from 6-9 AM). From my observations, it starts to pick up and get busier around 10 AM. I often order the americano and guava drink, and their make, service and delivery has always been consistent. I am often greeted w/ a smile and most times they are timely. I haven't had any poor interactions w staff at this place and they are usually attentive and kind. I also like the modern themed patio w orange hues. I notice there is hand sanitizer available up front and individuals are often distancing themselves while enjoying a cup of brew or working on their laptops. Overall, I rate this Starbucks 5 stars and believe my post counts since I go at least 3 times per week! read more

This is our local Starbucks and we love it here. We come here occasionally to grab a pick-me-up whenever we're strolling in the area. We like to do mobile order because its quick and convenient. I always come to the spot to grab something before early morning meetings with clients. I do not drink coffee, but I do grab my white Hot chocolate whenever I stop at any Starbucks. This location has consistently giving me white mocha instead of white hot chocolate, as I've ordered, and I've had to go back to the store to get my hot chocolate. Great location, right across from the Park Place in Irvine. Ordering was quick and easy. Fast service and accurate drinks. Baristas there are very friendly and gladly made another cups of ice water while serving. Outside patio is very cozy and it's nice place to hang out and wait until your restaurant reservation nearby. Located in the same plaza with Mother's Market and Lady M Cake Boutique, this location has a beautiful outside patio area that would have been perfect and picturesque to sit and enjoy a drink. (In pre-pandemic times) Parking can be a challenge but I was lucky to find a spot in the flat lot. The plaza mentions there is a structure with free 2 hour parking available as well if you can't find a spot in the lot. The location was a bit small inside. Staff were friendly and worked quickly to get the drinks out to customers. I think the flow is a little bizarre because the pickup window is to the far left of the shop and if you enter through the front door, you could easily walk into some of the people waiting for their drinks. (Which is a tiny area.) But that's something that's completely out of the control of the staff. They were great and made drinks were made and going out in a timely manner. As parking was a bit of a challenge and the plaza can get hectic, I may or may not come back to this location. read more

My go to location when in the Irvine area for work. It's a brisk walk to get over to this one but it's great to get out and get some steps in! You can always order ahead on the app if you need it in a hurry. Otherwise, note that this location is ALWAYS busy, so it's likely to be a line and a wait. It's in the middle of a busy shopping / restaurant area, and close by to several business buildings. The staff is always friendly and quick to move your drink along. My drinks are always correct here, no issues there. They have a clean location with limited inside seating and few more seats on the patio area. They have a large selection of merch is you want a reusable tumbler or ground coffee. Overall: A Great local location to the Irvine Office I frequent in Cali! read more

Really negative experience with the Manager - Shelly. Long story short, I frequent this location every day on my way to the office for myself & some co workers, via mobile order around 9. I'm a regular. Some mornings, when my boss asks for an ice water, I go into the store before my morning workouts & order the water - SINCE THERE IS NO ONLINE OPTION. Shelly doesn't remember her regulars, & instructed her opener (Genesis) to not serve me unless I buy something. I pulled my daily receipts & was ready to re-explain to Shelly I am a daily customer & return @ 9 for my order (& no option for cup of water on mobile!) , but Shelly didn't even look at me, as she was too busy opening bar (which should have been already opened by that time, 645). I have my mug awards from years ago, & I worked hard to get recognized for customer service @ my previous locations as a Starbucks partner, I don't get how she is in management. read more

I've been to this location before awhile ago and never had issues with walk up or mobile ordering. However this last visit was disappointing. Mobile ordered and drink was made iced instead of hot. Told one of the baristas that it should've been hot, waited al while other drinks were made before mine and it came out wrong again. I explained it was now made incorrectly twice and she snapped "I didn't make it". Which I explained that I'm not blaming her just letting her know. A little customer service like apologizing for the mistake the 1st or 2nd time would've been appropriate versus having an attitude regardless who made the drink wrong. Or offer to give a free drink next time since I had my order messed up twice and had to wait around which defeats the whole purpose of a mobile order. Maybe they're better not in the mornings or the gal was having a bad day either way probably would never go back. I should stick to supporting my local small coffee shops. I've never had an issue at any other Starbucks let alone attitude about fixing a mistake twice. Also prioritizing remaking a drink correctly over others that were just ordered would help keep someone from waiting even longer for the baristas double mistake. read more

This is my absolute go to in the Irvine Area. Opens up promptly at 4:30am, which is a big help when we starting early at the jobsite. The crew is always fresh and ready, super friendly making the start to the day effortless. I usually grab a venti iced Chai and a bacon gouda. They stick to perfect recipe and never over ice. Promptly grabbing the sandwich from the micro, piping hot. Never any snags going in that early, ultimately solid 4 stars. Most of the other Starbucks in the area open at 5:00. This location is to stop lights from the freeway off at Jamboree, making this an easy 10 minute pit stop on your way to slave your first 8 hours of the day, cheers.! read more

The drinks were fine and the cashier was very respectful. The male barista working at the time however was extremely rude and quite confusing honestly. While my family and I were waiting in line for our drinks, he randomly told us to not smoke indoors which is understandable if someone had a lighter or if someone was smoking inside. No one was smoking inside yet alone had a lighter. After asking him for an apology for falsely accusing us of smoking, he proceeded to state he was afraid of his life??? Hi Shelly, I ordered ahead this morning with a Bacon, Sausage & Egg Wrap and a Grande Cappuccino Extra Dry with Oat milk. I order this every Sunday Morning at your store on the way to church and it is consistently made wrong. It is never Extra Dry. It should be shots of espresso with oat milk foam. I asked at Starbucks to make sure what I keep in my orders is what I want to get. This morning I finally said this isn't made right. My food item was made way ahead of time the cappuccino took way longer than the time it said and nobody was acting with any sense of urgency. Finally the lady that was the cashier (I think tammy or a name similar) refunded me the cappuccino and then went to charge me 3.45 for a grande coffee. I said i just would take a coffee and this is purely the mistake of Starbucks at this point because 1. the staff doesn't know what coffee drinks are, or 2. they do not read the line items on the cups. I said i'm not going to be charged 3.45 for a cup of coffee that you didn't ask me the size I wanted, and it was a mistake that you guys made my drink incorrectly and then my food item which is a wrap has gotten cold during this whole time. I asked for your card which then seemed to be very hard for them to find all the sudden which at most Starbucks they are sitting out. Robert the shift lead then took over and just apologized and did nothing. So looking back you wasted 2 drinks, my time, and made me late for my appointment and I got a food item that wasn't up to par either. Thanks a lot and disappointed!!! Mobile ordered a pink drink picked it up it was fine. I'm walking to my car and see a black dot in my cup. I get to my car and there is a dead bug floating in my drink. I go back inside and tell the guy that there's a dead bug in my drink. He looks at me with a blank stare and says " do you want me to remake it" ..... I said "um yes". Then he asks if I wanted a water (which is always free). I then waited for over 8 minutes to remake my drink and still never got it but ended up just asking to be refunded and left with my free ice water. read more

I usually get iced epresso doppio in venti cup with vanilla sweet cream. Other store they make it full cup for me. But at this store when they gave me only half cup, I told the girl that make my drink, she said if I want full cup I should order latte. She gave me the attitude that I was the one who order wrong. But I got the recipe for this drink from the group on Facebook and they always get full cup. I also order this coffee more than 10 times already, if I'm wrong they should tell me for the first time. I pay for $7.25 just to get half cup in venti size. Then another employee came up and I show her the picture I got from other Starbucks, she just said in that picture they add full iced. Then she asked me if I want to put more ice so it will be full cup. Like??? This is my first time in more than 10 years got Starbucks and the employee just stand there choose to fight with me instead give me more coffee for my cup. Speechless. Lovely Starbucks with personable baristas. This location has a coveted clover machine. Sparse indoor seating but ample outdoor seating in the side patio. Parking is difficult as a large portion of the parking lot has been converted to valet only for the surrounding restaurants such as Ruth's Chris steakhouse and North Italia.
