Graveyard employee is lazy. Online says this store is open 24/7 and no local signage that says they are not. They lock the door and don't answer it during the night when he's clearly there ignoring the store, and last time my significant other walked in at night but was kicked out. I bought two items. The sign beneath them said 2 for $3.00. They charged me $3.72. I got my money back and left. Today, I bought one item, and the cashier short-changed me. There are three workers right now, but there's no hot food out. Wait, I take that back. There's two slices of pizza that look harder than bricks and the pepperoni is literally purple! It's disgusting. Give it up, guys! No one's buying those nasty slices! I'll never understand why 7-Eleven locations do this with the pizza. To avoid losing $1 worth of pizza, they'll end up unknowingly turning away 20 customers who would've bought fresh slices AND STILL end up throwing away those two nasty slices anyway! Part 1:: So I'm 27 years old And I've been coming to this exact location since I was 8 years old the owners watched me grow up it was local place , never had any isssues, never ever took anything , my family is family friends of the owner and another employee Sean who is by the best cashier/working 711 has , he deserves the employee of the century. Although long shorty short there is an older darker middle easter with gray hair always ask "dood" or "hey doo. I went in one night with a guy friend i was in some booty shorts and a tank and hot worker says " aye you hitting that" man what I would do to her and my friend here's it , she then secretly records , he groes on to say he mean like oh a beautiful women dates and things that and she asked nicely if he could stop she was feeling uncomfortable. He didnt stop there he kept trying to make sexually comments , then she says she's going to call the police and the kicks us out the store this happens around nov2019, so tonight 4/21 I go in and he locks me out make treats to kill me and if he seems me come In I will have problems. I only go to 7-11 for the sole purpose of getting coffee in a hurry so this review is obviously only about the coffee. The food there looks disgusting! Remember the episode on The Simpsons where Homer eats the hot dogs that have been rolling in the heater for years? I always think of that when I come here and cringe by the thought of ever trying one of those. I probably have the appetite of Homer, but I don't have the stomach of Homer (thank God). I love the coffee table! You become your own barista and can make whatever the hell you want. You pay by cup size. They have all sorts of coffees (vanilla, hazelnut, vanilla nut, cinnamon) and syrups and creams. I like 1/2 french vanilla cappucino and 1/2 french vanilla coffee with a shot of french vanilla cream. The only place I've found in SoCal which 4 out of 5 times carries JOOSE!! For those not in the know, Joose is an alcoholic energy drink kind of in the same category as Sparks, but comes in a 24oz can and has 9.9% alcohol. The first can was a bit rough going down, but ever since then my tongue's gotten used to the high alcohol/sour content and now it just tastes like grapefruit/guava juice to me. The blue variety weighs in at 9.0% and is a lot more tropical tasting. The flavor is actually pretty good. If given the choice between the blue 9% and the orange 9.9%, I'd always take the orange. The flavor difference doesn't make up for that extra 0.9% alcohol. Only downside is the price! I've heard (through internet reviews) that Joose is usually under $2 out the door. At this 7-11 they come to about $2.90 with tax and crv. That's like, $0.90 more than Sparks! But totally worth it. Another cool thing about this 7-11 is they often stock Camo Black Ice - a malt liquor which weighs in at a hefty 10.5% abv. A little under $2 out the door for a 24oz can. Employees are really nice and really make you feel at home here. Except for that one cashier who is bad at math. He's always a jerk to me if I try giving him an odd amount of change. Say something is $4.83, if I give him $5.08 to get an even quarter back he freaks the fuck out! Gives you back the 8 cents, plus 17 cents instead of a quarter. And don't even think about asking this dude for the $0.25 in quarter form rather than his 2 nickels, 5 pennies, and a dime. He'll get this look in his eyes like he's about to smash your face in! read more

4 1/2 stars really When I think of 7-Eleven I think of a dirty rundown convenient store usually in a sketchy area, but this is Irvine where none of those qualities exist even at 7-Eleven. This is possibly the nicest 7-Eleven location I have ever been to and on a hot day slurpies are always nice to cool down and their spicy hotdogs are really good as well. I tried the cherry apple slurpie it was good at first but after a while i got tired of it. That's what I get for getting the biggest size, but how can I resist. read more

Rude older men work here. They don't tell customer how much they owe and throw change on the counter rather than hand it to customer. There's only 2 nice young men that work here now. I've been a customer for 20 years and have seen customer service decline in past couple of years - NEVER any coffee in middle of night and the rude men ALWAYS make up excuses and their general ungratefulness for customers that buy the products. I even supported them when one of their staff was murdered in robbery 10 years ago and this is how they now treat their long-time local customers. Bad form! I was buying some beer at this store and the young staff told me that they only accepted California licenses and that my out of state DL (drivers license) does not work. He told me to bring my passport next time. I said that I don't see a problem with my ID and that they did not have the right to decline it. He then told me that it does not matter because he had a problem with it. I've been going there to get my beers and there has never been a problem until now. I hope this problem is fixed. read more

Went in for the bring-your-own-cup slurpee day. The guy at the register rang me up for 4 slurpees and then made up some arbitrary reason that the cup had to be 52oz or smaller. This rule was listed NO WHERE on the website. (Also for reference, I wasn't one of those people who showed up with a 5 gallon jug or a kiddie pool.) I'll never forget the disdain he looked at me with when I walked into the store either. If you don't enjoy working with customers, you should not be in a customer service based job.
