I can remember driving by this grocery store being built and thinking that I can't wait for this place to open. Back in 2007, one would have to drive all the way to Durango street to get groceries. This grocery store was very convenient during the pandemic shut down when the contactless grocery shopping was recommended. The gas station is the most convenient for me and these days the rewards gas discounts are appreciated. I always find several specialty items here that you can't find at other stores. The produce section seems to be fresh and well kept compared to other stores. The staff generally seem very friendly and helpful. The only negative that I have found is the self checkout with the conveyor belt. That situation never goes flawless and it always locks up. I still enjoy checking out with people! read more

I come to the Smiths all the time not only has the food gone up tremendously in price But there's some rude people that work there I only saw one register open, so I went to it and some Filipino lady was screaming at me because I had more than 15 items. I didn't realize I said that was the only register that was open. She started screaming at me and trying to embarrass me in front of everybody. She's probably in her mid 50s Filipino or Hawaiian very very unprofessional. People like that make me want to change grocery stores. I think I just might. And also The granola bars that I bought were supposed to be on sale for $1.75 a box I get home and they're at full price. The stuff happens all the time at Smith's. The Smith's in the Las Vegas area seem to be a little more impressive than their tired siblings in the Carson Valley. Our recent short visit to this Smith's location was for gas and some food and water as we headed to Red Rock Canyon for an afternoon hike. Although it often takes me a couple visits to map out a given grocery store, I found what I needed relatively quickly. No lines as self checkout expedited the experience even more. read more

Went to smiths on rainbow and windmill today. Cokes 10.99 for 24. , but only 1 pack. Then I saw the friendliest ( big smile) employee named "Weavy". He was working hard and I asked him where else could there be diet cokes . He said I'll show you and we walked down to end cap and nothing,he didn't give up . HE went in back and toted out 4 more packs. Still smiling!!! HE MADE ME SMILE TOO! ''Weavy" went that extra mile and I truly appreciate it. WET ROTTEN POTATOES were loaded into my carpeted hatchback during this morning's pick up. Disgusting sour smell permeates through my car now. A $2 sack of potatoes will cost me $120 to detail the smell out. I called corporate and spoke to Riley who shitily offered me a $2 credit, then finally a $5 credit informing me that's the most he can do. I doubt this. Wasn't expecting a gourmet salad but the item that didn't leave my refrigerator overnight, until lunch the next day proved to be a mistake. The salad leaves had stalks, the edges were browned and when I set these aside to at least enjoy the cucumber and shrimp, it tasted off. So much for a reliable healthy lunch. Another purchase two months ago was for a large bag of acid reduced Coffee beans (Puroast). I didn't open this till recently only to discover it had expired over six months ago. When I told the cashier she said they can't exchange or give credit without a receipt. What's the point of the Smith's card? if they can give me coupons based on my recent purchases why couldn't they find this item. Why is it Smith's policy to not allow their Starbucks baristas to accept tips anymore? Tipping is the customer's prerogative. This takes $1-$2 per hour out of their pockets and I'm sure Smith's didn't raise their pay to compensate for this loss of income. I tried to tip and was told they were threatened with termination if they accepted. What exactly does this policy accomplish and who benefits from it? This review is for the pharmacy dept. They made it so easy transferring my prescription from Los Angeles to LV. When I first made the call on how the process can happen. The gentlemen who answered it was very kind. They said it takes 48-72 hours for the whole process to happen. In less 24 hrs, i got the text the process was happening. In 48 hours the prescription was ready. I was shocked and amazed that it happen so fast and it was very much hassle free. I didn't need to follow up on them. When i arrived, the lady was super sweet on helping me out with the process. I was very glad to transfer my prescription to Smith's. First I want to say that I shop here all the time and I'm very happy with the product selection and the friendliness of the staff. This review is for the Click List staff. They are also usually phenomenal (I spoil myself with this service often). I requested a pick up order for 11-12:00, a little later in the morning because I wanted a rotisserie chicken and I know those aren't available early. So I get a text at 10:50 letting me know my order was complete, except they were out of stock on rotisserie chickens... so I pick up my order, drive around and park to go inside and buy one of the many chickens that were ready. All before 12:00! Why, I ask? Why couldn't they wait another 20 minutes and fulfill my order? I don't need an incomplete order early when I could get my order a little late but within my selected pick up range and it be completed! read more

Bumping this up a star because it has gotten better in recent months. I mean, I still prefer Albertsons up the road on Rainbow, but this place can have some really good deals from time to time. Just today they had 6- pack, 16 ounce bottles of Pepsi products for basically $2 each! (5 - 6 packs for $10) and 4 - 2liter bottles 4 bottles for $5! They can also have outstanding specials on frozen goods, lunch meats, and beer! You just have to keep your eyes peeled for the flyers with all the specials. Parking still sucks. Service has been hit or miss over the years, but lately it has been a lot more "hit" than "miss". A solid back up location that happens to be nearby, Smiths isn't necessarily my first choice, but it can be good in a pinch. 3 stars. A-Ok. read more

No major problem with overall store experiences. However I just left Smiths on Rainbow and Windmill. It's in proximity to my neighborhood so I go often... This is the 4th time that Tasha in the deli cheese spreads area, has been antagonizing and loud with me. This is unacceptable behavior, especially from someone who I assume is an adult... I go out of my way to not make eye contact with her less alone ask a question or seek her help. She appears to be a loose cannon. More importantly today As I was leaving the store she ask another worker Patricia if she knew me?? For no apparent reason;??? this behavior is insane to me.? I was within earshot of the comments, As I'm leaving the store and focused on getting to my car; I hear her saying "God Bless You have a nice Day"!! Repeatedly and pretty loud... She has said this to me on another occasion. I ignored her because It wasn't an act of kindness nor was she trying to be cordial. If you have kids, the staff will always make them feel welcome, weather is giving them stickers or a piece of fruit! Thomas in self checkout is always there to assist when needed. It was transition time, getting ready to move things, for the holidays, so one entire side of the Gift Cards section was blocked off (I couldn't squeeze in to get a look). I went there to buy gift cards for christmas gifts, so it was disappointing. There was just a four day window to buy gift cards at 4x points. Miscellaneous random items for FREE. Recently they have changed the coupons and now can can buy a limit of 5 at the sale pricing (used to be 1!). Love the self check out, if you need assistance the employees here are very helpful and go the extra mile to make things right if you have an issue. We gave the online "Click List" a try, and purchased some Gatorade and Pop chips to test it out. We received a notification a couple hours later that the order was ready for pick up. We pulled up in the back of the store in the designated spots and called the number. A nice gentleman brought our goods out and provided a receipt of the actual charges (online only provides an estimated total, without coupons). We checked the receipt and found some pricing discrepancies. We pointed them out to the gentlemen and he went inside and corrected the charges, and brought out another receipt. Since this was an online order, the charges and credits were on our card within a week. A slight hassle on our test run, but in the end, all good. There's my neighborhood Smith's but, unfortunately, my store doesn't do pick ups. So, Rainbow location to the rescue. I love using the pick up options and app makes it so easy! Granted, I order chips, snacks, milk for the kids more so thru the app because I'll order multiples of them. So they just bring it right on out to my car. Workers come out masked and friendly. If there's items not available, they can substitute if you want. Overall easy experience and if you want to add to your order, you can!!!! Personally, I love the pick up options thru any app because I feel like you save $ by not perusing the aisles lol So that's a major plus right now! read more

The checkout clerks are very nice here and honor the $.05 no-bag credit very well! I appreciate that they do, because I don't put my vegetables in bags either and they give the discount. I like coming here before a football party or watching a fight and scour the fresh food for deals. Sometimes the 7 layer dip is on sale for only $2.99! They have quite a wide selection of vegan options that I appreciate. Not all places carry as many vegan cheeses as them. For the most part they are always in stock with what I need. Minus the organic chicken breast which they are very often out of and I have to make a separate trip to Sprouts. The workers here (and other customers for that matter) have this habit of blocking isles A LOT. Either with the online shopping orders, shopping carts, and the employees stocking shelves with with the inventory in the way. I figured you might stock shelves when it is less busy but I've come here at various times of the day and on different days, and there has been some kind of isle block every single time. Maybe space out the store better to provide more room, or train workers on how not to block isles when working? Both Smiths I just moved from near Eastern and 215 are really good at this but this location blocking isles is a constant theme. Other than that great store. read more
