Well, the pump accepted my Chevron gas card, and gave a small discount. But the display was upside down. It's a big station with wide islands. Appears to have a carwash and taqueria. It has a food mart. I stopped here at around 7pm to get gas and use the restroom. Also, to take a break before heading up North Vasco Road. If you're new to the area, North Vasco Rd between Livermore and Brentwood is one of the most dangerous roads in the SF Bay Area. There's been many safety improvements, but all it takes is one bad or sleepy driver to ruin your day. If you feel tired, stop and take a break. So I went inside the food mart to survey the snacks and use the toilet. The cooler had beer, sodas, waters and energy drinks. Typical gas station snacks. No key for restroom. The bathroom was OK for a mensroom, but maybe not OK for an all gender restroom. It looked a bit sloppy. I think I understand why people don't stop here. Would I return? Only for the gas.

The solution that was in the bucket that the windshield cleaner soaked in looks like water I mean, it was clean and clear, but it looks like water there's no hand sanitizer solution when I went to press the dispenser and when I asked, do they have any paper towels or if that was just water the guy said sorry go to another dispenser. And when I asked about the solution, he said oh it hasn't been changed yet, but they're full of just water. Yeah, I give this place a one star I wish I could give it a -5 stars, but it's a shame that this Arco chooses not to provide a cleaner environment. The Arco gas station that's around the corner from where I live. The employees are filling out the paper towel dispensers out by the gas pumps the solution to clean the windows is bluish in Tint. And this place is very clean. I give that place 10 stars but not the one on Vasco Road the Arco gas station. They need to learn some serious Customer Service.

It's easy to get to from I-580 West from the Springtown exit. I was at this gas station on June 21, and Reg UL was selling at $4.90/gal. Yes, the price is a little high, but the location is right next to the freeway. This station also features a 24-hour Food Mart & Liquors, and a Taqueria. If all you do is buy gas here, you might notice that the pumps look old. While the Food Mart and Taqueria look clean and fresh, the pumps look the same as they did years ago.

Once the last of one of our family members exited the restroom, one of the employees ran to the "out of order" and opened the door for the remaining customers that were waiting. They watched us carefully as we walked around the store to purchase snacks. Once we got to register, the employee then decided to knock our beverages down and laughed about it with their coworker. After getting our change back, the cashier refused to give us a receipt after requesting one and then proceeded to talk in their foreign language to us. Never thought we'd experience this horrible customer service on Easter, let alone with our children watching this whole situation . Will never come back to this location or step foot in another AMPM after this.

But I dropped by a few nights ago, and the place looked rundown and dirty. Change of ownership? Gas prices were average, nothing to get excited about. Inside, the female clerk was friendly and full of energy. Meanwhile, there was an old dried up jumbo hotdog on the warmer beginning to collect charring. The place needed restocking. Observations: -Car wash was closed. -Gas prices are high. -Restroom closed. -Mask Wearing Rule not enforced inside Food mart. Gas Prices are high? Because the station is right next to freeway ramps. It's got a controlled intersection (signals) right there, so it's easy to get back on the freeway. Restrooms closed? Because of Covid-19 restrictions. But the big neg is.....the cashier didn't refuse service to the lady behind me who wasn't wearing a mask inside the foodmart. If you're not going to enforce the mask rule, you might as well open up the restrooms.
