My first time at this 7-Eleven location and so far it was a great experience. I came here cause I was in area and decided to use some of my 7-eleven points on the app which got me a free medium cappuccino (yippee!). Will definitely come to this spot again if I'm in Koreatown/mid-wilshire area.

Taking a picture from Inside the car because this location is legitimately dangerous...

Dangerous. Legitimately dangerous. Every time I come here the same two homeless men are out front berating customers for money. I usually don't mind, but these guys are aggressive and borderline-violent. They will ask for change and follow you to your car... sometimes reaching for you. The inside is what you'd expect from a seven eleven, nothing special. I just wish the managers or owner would get a hold of the problem out front... I'd feel much safer getting my breakfast donut and pizza.

Without question, this is 7 Eleven's flagship location in a chain of over 36,842 retail outlets globally (per Wikipedia, an extremely credible source for factual data). When I'm in the Koreatown area attempting to snag an autograph from Nicholas Cage or Wesley Snipes, I will stop by this store to pick up a Rockstar energy drink, a delicious Big Gulp Slurpee, or perhaps a pre-packaged cheese danish, and have an invariably awesome experience every time. Why, you ask? Oh, let me count the ways... #1. *Indian ownership* Indians just flat-out know how to run a world class convenience store franchise, and this operater is no exception. This man will always greet his (welcomed) customers with a smile, he calculates change swiftly and accurately, and he possesses profiling abilities that make the CIA look like FEMA in the wake of a major natural disaster or Region 9 of the GSA, leaving his valued patrons with a justified sense of security as they enjoy their shopping experience. #2. *Courteous, friendly vagrants* Show me another quickie mart in the Greater LA area where the vagrants loitering on the property will welcome the customers, open the door for them, and offer to clean their car winshield, FREE OF CHARGE. Come to think of it, now I'm wondering if that guy is on the payroll, which only further validates point #1. #3. *Abnormally broad softcore skinmag collection* This store is one of only a handful of nationally-branded quickie marts in Greater Los Angeles that carries a diversified inventory of male bathroom reading material that would make Pee Wee Herman blush. I am convinced that if you build rapport with the owner as a valued repeat customer, you could ask him to start carrying a Zimbabwean version of Maxim and he would have the shelves fully stocked within three to five business days. #4. *B-list celebrity sightings* Astro Boy and the tax evading Bladerunner aside, K-Town is apparently an excellent place to spot the has-beens and never-quite-weres of Hollywood, including Paris Hilton, Mickey Rourke and McLovin. You will occasionally catch them stopping by the 7 Eleven before hitting Le Prive, et al. Now, I've personally never been to a booking club, but I suppose the mental image of McLovin cutting up the dance floor to Girls Generation with a crowd of predominantly middle aged, suit-wearing Korean and Chinese businessmen watching intently in the background is mildly entertaining. This Yelp review is not an opinion. It is fact. If you have a problem with any of the facts I reported in this edition, take it up with my publicist. The Taco Truck Nazi, singing off...

I'm sure they have been through a lot at this location, which I definitely take into consideration, but I don't think that means that low quality customer treatment is now acceptable (across multiple visits). I waited for them to come take a cheap item I needed out of the locked cages (that every item is in now), and when they did, instead of handing me the 5 dollar item, they insisted that they would take it up to the front where it would be waiting for me. After waiting in a long line, my item was not at the front.. So I just checked out without it. As I was leaving, an employee came up to me with the item I needed and acted like I was being an inconvenience. I went back and purchased the item only to find out that I missed out on a discount that I would have gotten if I'd have purchased it with my other items. I couldn't care less about the discount - ha, but it's just the principle of the situation and how the employees I dealt with could obviously care less. And this has been a re-occurring vibe at this store. Not to mention that the store's inventory has not been very great either.. ALTHOUGH, it is true that you never-ever know what people might be dealing with in their lives... --which is why I gave a 2 star rating instead of 1 star.

Hello Yelp! I've…read morebeen coming to this market/deli for a bit as I live just a few blocks away. I almost always come for a sandwich fix. The deli is pretty basic with 4 types of sandwiches, pastrami, ham, turkey, smoked turkey, and ham and turkey. They all come with pepperjack cheese, or cheddar and include mustard, tomato, and lettuce. They use boars head meat which is top quality meat and juicy and tastes well of the protein. The sandwiches are made fresh everyday but not to order so you cannot customize. For $7 even for a footlong stuffed full of meat using fresh lettuce, a gorgeous dijon mustard seed mustard, juicy and crisp tomato, fresh bread and high quality deli meat, this is an excellent and delicious buy. The sandwiches are huge with meat overflowing and everything is so fresh. I love the restraint and simplicity in this sandwich as the fresh high quality and classic flavors speak for themselves. The price point at $7 is perfect too. This sandwich ia levels above subway or jersey mikes. The deli meat is thick sliced and high end but my favorite part of the sandwich is the crunch of the lettuce with the crisp of a juicy tomato slice, and true mustard flavor and aroma. When one can smell the pure aroma of an ingredient and it is perfumic then it is fresh, natural, and naturally delicious. For $7, you get a rocking footlong stuffed with meat, freshest and hi-end ingredients and no wait. They also have groceries, other deli items, and a selection of nuts This is my go to for a sandwich! Hope you try it out! Brandon

I stopped by around 11pm on a Monday night and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. They had everything you'd expect, and the location is really convenient. It was right across the street from the DoubleTree by Hilton that I was staying at. So if you're staying in the area or just passing through on foot (it's on a busy corner), it's easy to swing by. It's your typical 7-Eleven experience, nothing mind-blowing but nothing terrible either. It's a good spot for grabbing snacks or drinks if you need something quick, but it didn't offer anything that made it stand out from the hundreds of other 7-Elevens out there. Parking can be a little tight in the area since it's Little Tokyo, but nothing too wild if you don't mind walking a block or so. It was pretty dead when I was out and about walking. There was a few people experiencing homelessness and there was a fight that broke out in the area but again, I didn't feel unsafe. I would suggest getting on a bike or a scooter to be able to ride faster if you are feeling unsure. Overall, a perfectly fine place to stop by if you're in the neighborhood or need something late at night, but don't expect anything beyond your typical 7-Eleven experience.
