    Getting my lotto on.
    Fred T.

This 7-11 will always have a special place in my heart. It is the 7-11 of my youth. As a child, we would ride our bikes and spend our hard earned 50 cents on what was at the time the Apex Slurpee, the large. Those of us of a certain age remember that at the base of the large Slurpee was a toy. Nothing special when you look back, but for us it was kind of our first taste of independence. It was blocks away from home, were were out of touch from our parents (no cell phones in those days, we kept a dime in our pocket to use the pay phone), and we just hung out enjoying our ice, sugar and food dye. Ah memories........... Fast forward to present day. This 7-11 is conveniently located next to my house, always open, and is seldom crowded unless there is a crazy lotto jackpot to be had. The Slurpee's are still the same, and better yet they have a decent selection of beer. Of course they have just about every snack food known to man, and an extensive but sketchy offering of hot foods as well. And lets face it where are you going to get the Simpsons doughnut if not here. Service for me has always been friendly and on point. The drawback to this location is that the parking can suck. They have at most 5 real spots and it overflows quickly. Also its tight so backing up cars inevitably block the whole lot.

The friendly service at this 7-Eleven distinguishes this from many. The cashier is always friendly to the kids and no rush for their Slushee or candy orders. The 7-Elevens in the States pale in comparison to Asia but we can always hope that the plethora of affordable and quick hot food will come here. Until then, we'll enjoy the quick snacks, drinks and friendly smiles at this location. 7-Eleven accepts credit cards including AMEX.

    Big Gulp with Slurpee Lid

Bought big gulp.No lids so I asked the hispanic employee if they have some, and she said just use the other one (for the slurpee) so i took one slurpee lid, one they barely fit... plus the hole is so big that soda spilled in the car... so much for being so in a hurry

I've worked my way through both the permanent and seasonal menus, and I genuinely can't think of a bad drink I've had. The Einspänner on any drink is unmatched, but honestly, every drink has been so good that picking a favorite feels impossible. The pastries are just as impressive! Always fresh, scrumptious, and worth every calorie. I remember when you could walk right in without much of a wait, but influencers have definitely done their job putting special places like this on the map. My only real complaints? The weekend lines and the fact that a coffee shop opens at 8 a.m. Let me get my caffeine fix earlier! Still, this is an easy 5/5. The drinks and pastries are on another level, and the hype is completely deserved.

This tea shop is nice to go to after work to relax and decompress for a bit. Items my coworker and I ordered- * Hojicha Strawberry Latte - light sweet, soy milk and less ice. Decor is cute but sleek, vibes are calm, bar seating by window and a few small tables with seats. Ordering is fast at the kiosk front desk which doesn't seem to have a cashier. Lots of tasty drink options with milk choices and customizable sweetness and ice level - much appreciated! Cakes were delicious and filled with freshly whipped cream. We had the hojicha and biscoff ones. Not incredibly busy - a lot of orders were takeout. Cons: A lot of things were out of stock by 1pm but maybe this is due to Mother's Day. Pricey but the items were high quality. Store is a small footprint with limited utilities (no WiFi, bathroom was temporarily out of order). Parking is very difficult- it's on el Camino so the cars are unforgiving if you're trying to parallel park, and the road parallel by a block is not much better. It has an alley and a very cramped space in the back for a lot. Expect to walk.

This cafe is super nice to visit on a sunny morning - I usually like to get a cup of coffee and pastry for breakfast and just chill outside and chat. The service is good and the coffee is always good and consistent here. I always order an iced latte and there's never been any issues.

I'm so happy I did because it's one of the few places that has a nice London Fog. I love that when you get your coffee "for here" it comes in actual ceramic mugs instead of plastic or paper. Thanks for creating less waste this way They even have metal utensils too! There is a long table inside with an outlet extension for working that could comfortably seat 6 people, but up to 10 if you really wanted to. Inside, it's bright with all the storefront glass and spacious with its open strut ceiling concept. Aside from coffee and tea, they also have salads, croffles, tartines of various combinations, and pastries so you can grab a quick bite or dessert too. Parking is limited right in front of the café but there's another parking lot in the area so I wouldn't worry about parking here either. The cloud 9 name and theme is so clever since it is right by an aviation club. The music inside is light and unobtrusive. Outside there's a peaceful, quiet patio with shade, sun, and flowers. Absolutely magical.
