    Getting my lotto on.
    Fred T.

This 7-11 will always have a special place in my heart. It is the 7-11 of my youth. As a child, we would ride our bikes and spend our hard earned 50 cents on what was at the time the Apex Slurpee, the large. Those of us of a certain age remember that at the base of the large Slurpee was a toy. Nothing special when you look back, but for us it was kind of our first taste of independence. It was blocks away from home, were were out of touch from our parents (no cell phones in those days, we kept a dime in our pocket to use the pay phone), and we just hung out enjoying our ice, sugar and food dye. Ah memories........... Fast forward to present day. This 7-11 is conveniently located next to my house, always open, and is seldom crowded unless there is a crazy lotto jackpot to be had. The Slurpee's are still the same, and better yet they have a decent selection of beer. Of course they have just about every snack food known to man, and an extensive but sketchy offering of hot foods as well. And lets face it where are you going to get the Simpsons doughnut if not here. Service for me has always been friendly and on point. The drawback to this location is that the parking can suck. They have at most 5 real spots and it overflows quickly. Also its tight so backing up cars inevitably block the whole lot.

The friendly service at this 7-Eleven distinguishes this from many. The cashier is always friendly to the kids and no rush for their Slushee or candy orders. The 7-Elevens in the States pale in comparison to Asia but we can always hope that the plethora of affordable and quick hot food will come here. Until then, we'll enjoy the quick snacks, drinks and friendly smiles at this location. 7-Eleven accepts credit cards including AMEX.

    Big Gulp with Slurpee Lid

Bought big gulp.No lids so I asked the hispanic employee if they have some, and she said just use the other one (for the slurpee) so i took one slurpee lid, one they barely fit... plus the hole is so big that soda spilled in the car... so much for being so in a hurry

I hope upper management treats him well with a raise!

I live alone and had driven myself to Stanford and therefore to CVS where your pharmacy is very far in the back the store. I asked for someone to help me and was told no. It took me 7 mins to walk to back of the store. I was in tears when I got there. My chest burned. I couldn't catch my breath and I was light headed. I know that my experience would have been very different if I were not size 22 pants size, black female. The staff watched me struggle but not one person offered to help me. Fresh from the hospital with medical bands still on my wrist and the bandages on my arms from where my recent IV's had been removed. So sorry that I am not a size 7 with blond hair and blue eyes. Horrible service. Racism is alive and thriving in Palo Alto. If you are brown imperfect human.. this not the place for people like us to have our medication needs filled...

I tend to be a self-proclaimed sushi snob, and I was definitely impressed with the freshness, quality, and beautiful craftsmanship of all their sushi rolls and platters. This time, I ordered: Chef's Choice platter- perfect if you're an indecisive eater like me, and want to try different items. They typically come with a diverse selection of sashimi and sushi rolls, which are seriously comparable to restaurant quality. My favorite rolls include the rainbow, caterpillar, done deal, dynamite rolls, and their salmon sashimi is always consistently fresh and high quality. Sushiritto- perfect if you're looking for a fully cooked option! This was delicious, and absolute stuffed with imitation crab and a generous selection of veggies and avocado. Definitely one of my best experiences with supermarket sushi in the Bay Area, and I'll definitely be back again!

He didn't greet me nor asked how my day was and spouted out "do you need a bag?" I politely asked for "a small bag like this one" and clearly pointed at the other cash register. He kept saying that he doesn't understand what I'm talking about and I ended up declining and paid for my things. No apology . After the transaction, he didn't say "have a good day" and kept silent as another patron came up. I said "you're welcome" to him as I approached the door. He gave me a stern stare as if he wanted to do something to me. These guys just lost a potential great customer had that cashier not been frugally rude to me.
