    Cafe drinks

Scorpion Bay you have an amazing cafe menu. Regular coffee, specialty coffees... what more can you ask for? I ordered the Carmel brûlée specialty coffee... ohh my the perfect combination to get your energy going. My husband ordered a regular coffee, both drinks were nice and hot and freshly made. I see why there was a line here... line goes fast though. Amble tables and chairs inside to enjoy your cafe drinks!

I had a memorable experience at Scorpion Bay Coffee (Pismo Beach). I ordered the Salty Nut Latte ($7.25 - Iced - 20oz). This coffee contains salted caramel, pistachio & vanilla syrup, milk, and four shots of espresso. This fresh brew whisked me away on a magical journey. In the end, I found happiness. I arrived at Scorpion Bay Coffee (Pismo Beach) on Thursday (around 9:20AM). Surprisingly, there's nearby, competitive neighborhood parking. However, parking is consistently hard because it's Pismo Beach (expect parking meters). Fortunately, it's a leisurely four minute walk from the beach's coastline. When I had arrived, the location was stuffed with customers. POPULAR!! The line took about eight minutes to reach the counter. Staff is professional and diligent. Staff appeared fatigued, but Staff works hard. My drink took six minutes. As mentioned, I adored the Salty Nut Latte ($7.25 - Iced - 20oz). It perfectly balances utility and flavor. I felt very awake after sipping. The coffee and salted caramel add unexpected depth to this drink. And the playful aftertaste of pistachio and vanilla tasted delightful~ It tastes very fresh and natural. My eyes continued to widen in surprise with each following sip. It's one of the best coffees that I've ever had the honor of sipping. On ambiance, Scorpion Bay Coffee (Pismo Beach) is dimly lit and crowded. However, there's sincere utility. The location offers customer internet with password; customers must speak to staff for the details. (Pssst. It's a very easy password to remember.) In addition, I also counted six electrical outlets; each outlet is near each table. There's also a gender neutral restroom in the back. In addition, this location is very pet friendly. Commonly, I saw dogs held on leashes as customers waited in the long line to order. Scorpion Bay Coffee (Pismo Beach) also felt well-ventilated. The ceiling felt very tall, and most tables are very wide. There's about seven tables. The location also felt well-maintained and clean. Overall, I found unexpected magic at Scorpion Bay Coffee (Pismo Beach). It's one of the best coffee experiences that I've encountered. If you enjoy coffee, this is a must-try. 5 out of 5. GO!!!

We're staying in Pismo this weekend for my older sisters' birthday, so before we started our day we stopped by Scorpion Bay Coffee for some drinks. Service is good. There was a line to the door the entire time we were there, so I love that the staff is able to maintain that friendliness through those rushes. The interior is moody and cozy. My mom got the Salty Nut Latte with soy and she said it was probably a 3/5. She loved the pistachio flavor and the coffee itself, but was missing out on some of that salted caramel flavor. I got a jalapeño cheddar bagel (which was good), and an iced white mocha with soy & lightly sweetened. I may just be super picky with my coffee, but I'll admit it wasn't my favorite. I'm not quite sure if I can even pinpoint what it was. It wasn't bad, just not my favorite. I would love to come back here and try a different drink sometime when I'm back in Pismo. Although these drinks weren't our favorites, we both tried something a little different than what we usually get, so I bet I'd love another drink here. This is a great coffee shop to stop by if you're in the area and have some time to spare.

I tried the honey pistachio latte and it was just okay. Honestly, it didn't really taste like pistachio or honey--more like a basic espresso with milk. Not bad, just not what I expected based on the name. The overall vibe of the place was cool and the space itself was nice, but the customer service felt a little off. When I asked about the types of espresso they offer, the barista seemed confused and looked at me like I was asking something strange, even though it's a pretty standard question. Not a terrible experience, but definitely some room for improvement--especially when it comes to flavor and customer interaction.

10/10! I recommend! Sadly I couldn't have anything with coffee the time I went to visit, BUT I got a matcha latte and OMG it was sooooo delicious! It was perfectly sweetened. I love that they have so many options for just one latte. I was able to get an unsweetened matcha powder with unsweetened almond milk and added sugar free vanilla to it. It was perfection. Paired with a lemon scone?! HUGE! Delicious! Highly recommend getting scone. I will be visiting again once I am able to drink coffee again. The service was great! Menu explained. Choices explained that were non-coffee. The coffee shop was quiet and cute! Could get work done in there for sure. Please visit this please. It will not disappoint!

A coffee shop that has innovation. Their unique Scorpion latte is truly one of a kind. Who would've thought to put cayenne pepper in coffee. It paired well with the coffee and made it an amazing cup. 1. Original Scorpion Latte Espresso with choice of milk, cayenne pepper and organic honey. The coffee was perfect - not bitter or sour. It has a darker roast note to it that is perfect with the cayenne pepper. The cayenne pepper really gives that nice "burn" in the throat - in a nice way. 2. Killer Scorpion Latte Basically it is their original scorpion latte but with added cinnamon. If you like cinnamon, this is the choice. It was pleasantly cinnamony, which hits you first, then the cayenne pepper part kicks in. I feel like this one burns a but less than the original because the cinnamon balanced it out.

Five stars for a great Americano with oat milk and some organic maple syrup to go! The barista was friendly, always a plus! Inside is consistent with the name, a little dark and somewhat edgy, lots of seating with a few outside. Some tasty treats and a few gluten free options if you're in the mood. Usual coffee choices, but I like theirs for the smooth, rich satisfying cup I had. I'd put this as one of my favorite cups of coffee, and trust me...I've tried em' all!

Kind staff, good treats and yummy chai I haven't tasted their coffee yet, but over heard people there saying they loved it. They are kind enough to have a restroom available, but beware it needs attention... at least it did on the morning I was there.

While on a long walk with my dog in Pismo Beach, I decided to stop at a local coffee shop along the way. I stumbled upon Scorpion Bay Coffee, and was so pleased by my visit! The barista helping me was sooo friendly and kind, as I had a lot of questions about their Matcha options and add ons. After some discussion and recommendations from the barista, I ordered an iced matcha with honey and and it was delicious! They have a wide variety of speciality drinks and pastries; truly something for everyone. The overall ambiance is superb and relaxing - comfortable seating including a cozy leather couch, lower lighting, and great music playing in the background. If you want great customer service, delicious drinks options and amazing vibes, Scorpion Bay Coffee in Pismo is where it's at! I cannot wait to visit again soon.

What a great little coffee shop! I love the concept and the warm cozy environment. Feels like home. Service was great too! I got the killer scorpion and it was delicious, love a little spice to my latte!

We needed a pick-me-up and this was the perfect afternoon coffee spot. We got an ice blended caramel latte and a double shot espresso over ice - they nailed it. Espresso was strong and not too acidic Cozy seating and great lighting.

Nearby parking can be tough, even in the paid lots, but we were able to find a place kiddy corner from the store. Seating is outside and is limited, but we lucked out and a table opened as soon as we were getting ready to sit down. Grab a couple extra napkins to wipe the table, because as I mentioned they're very busy so it doesn't seem they get to cleaning the tables often. Nothing gross, but not freshly wiped either. This place was very packed in the afternoon -- the line was out the door but moved really fast. When you walk inside, you get hit by the smell of fresh cinnamon rolls and you can see the workers making it fresh. We ordered the following items: 1. Pecan roll: 9/10 This was sooo delicious. I had expected the cinnamon rolls to be better but this was actually the highlight. The dough was flakier and softer than the cinnamon roll and the fresh pecans were so delicious. It wasn't too sweet which I appreciate. 2. Cinnamon roll: 6/10 This was pretty good but I expected more cinnamon flavor in the dough so I was a bit disappointed. The dough was a bit harder as well and it wasn't too sweet, maybe the one with cream cheese frosting would taste better. Overall, this was super delicious and worth it. Portions were huge and it's quite filling.
