The hot meatball sub was better done with a strong Italian seasoning and Parmesan flavor to the meatballs. Nice and convienient if you're staying in the area although prices are a bit on the high side.

Moments later a server brought out the food, everything smelled and looked delicious. He ordered fish N' chips w/upgraded garlic fries, (we love garlic fries!) some of the best garlic fries we've had, every bite was garlicky & dipped in ranch...mmmmm perfect combo. The fish was tender but crispy bites from the batter. I ordered the Pismo wrap (could be shared), I was not expecting it to be so packed with all the fillings. It was stuffed with sliced tri-tip, curly fries, avocado, pepper jack cheese, and bbq sauce. Every bite was so satisfying, flavorful and had a little bit of everything. Some saltiness from the fries to sweetness from the bbq sauce, well balanced (I did add some cholula sauce because I enjoy some spiciness). Definitely added as a stop when doing a day trip to Pismo. I'll be recommending friends/family to make a stop at Hoagies if they're ever in the area and they're looking for a chomp because a bite isn't enough. So after all the shopping/walking, pick up some Hoagies and head to the beach (which is walking distance), because great food deserves a great view!

I did see other patrons sitting at the tables with much toastier-looking wraps, and it looked like the steak wrap came in a wheat tortilla. So is there more than one kind of tortilla? The tartar sauce was middle of the road and there was not enough of it in the wrap for my tastes - I like sauce. But I could not get more for the side, as the line was out the door by the time I discovered I could use more tartar sauce! So while it was fine, and the fish seemed fresh, I was somewhat disappointed, and did not munch this wrap with the zeal that I do the one from the other locale in town where I typically buy the killer cod wrap. The curly fries were good and well salted. Lots of people sitting outside; tables could've been cleaned better. Maybe staff should come out and wipe them down periodically.

Sure wish we'd know sooner, but so glad to have found it now. This store is like a cross between TJ's and Whole Foods with a huge assortment of prepared foods and fair pricing. We went there three times in 2 weeks and loaded up on goodies such as take 'n' bake pizza, chili, and OF COURSE the clam chowder. We also hit the bakery pretty hard and thoroughly enjoyed the berry cobbler, along with a few other sweet treats. Location is easy to find, plenty of parking and service very friendly. What a fun stop when in Avila Beach!…read more My boyfriend and I stopped here on our drive back down to Ventura from Paso Robles. The animals are so adorable and the little market has the best variety of goodies for yourself and for gifts! Plus, the food here is very yummy and the ambiance in general is just homey and relaxing. I could see coming here with small kids or even as a cute little day date as we did. It's not too big but also not super small. Their Ollaliberry pie is DELICIOUS and I highly recommend picking up some of their baked goods to bring back home!
