I have to say as a postal worker it's rare that I get denied the request to use a restroom. I understand not letting the general public us it, but as a postal worker who is out delivering mail 10 hrs a day we have no where to go. also I must ad this is after i spent 50$ filling up my mail truck. I think the cashiers are cool they are just a little dumb or like to play dumb. They sell vapes there and not a single person there knows what to even do with them. ALSO WARNING THIS GAS STATION DOES SELL BROKEN VAPES AND THEY WILL CLAIM THEY NEED A MANAGER TO GIVE YOU REFUND. There is nothing intrinsically wrong with a 7-Eleven, level set expectations, and perhaps you might be okay with saying they are A-OK, which is exactly what it is. It's an older store, seems smaller then many I have been to, but for the most part, they seem to have everything that I have been looking for, from snacks, chips to random meats on the hotdog warmer. I admit that when it comes to junk food, they tend to have random deals, so once in a while, I pop in, and I walk out with a few things. They have gas here, and it's popular, as it's the only one for a few miles; it's also next door to Nintendo and Microsoft West Campus.. so I'm sure they are milking the higher than normal prices for gas. If you want snacks and bottled sodas.. this is a good place, otherwise, you might head down 148th to the Fred Meyer a few miles away. read more

Your expectations should be equivalent to where you are going. I went inside to get some Gatorade and left. No issues. The cashier made zero impact on my memory so not great but also means he was fine. This is close to some corporate campuses and is convenient for grabbing snacks or a beverage. So this happened today. Im visiting from Canada & stopped at the 7-11 by Microsoft on 51st on my way with my dogs to Marymore Park for a walk. I went in the 7-11 & bought several items. When i came back out to my car my one big dog who had got into the garbage the night before had taken a giant runny disgusting shit on my drivers seat & down the back rest. I started puking it was so bad. I went back in the store and asked for napkins & if i could take a cup of water with a bit of soap to try to clean the seat. The owner was working & after explaining what happened handed me a total of 4 fucking napkins & refused to give me a squirt of soap from thier hand wash bottle, told me i could take hot water but had to pay him .49 cents for the cup. The entire time he was eye rolling & huffing & puffing like how dare i think he was going to give me any napkins for free to clean up my dog shit covered car seat. I started crying & asked him for more napkins & he said i had to pay for them. Total fucking asshole to me. Guy in a turban total jerk. Rude & mean. Complete strangers came and helped me outside with whatever they had in thier cars to use. 2 ppl gave me plastic bags to sit on so i didnt have to sit in dog poop water on my car seat. I have never met such a cheap, unhelpful, mean, self serving business owner. Maybe because im a nurse im geared towards helping people but his customers in the parking lot helped me. I live down the street so I go here occasionally. It's poorly maintained, but the worst part is the service. The cashiers are always rude, no matter what. They treat you like you're the biggest inconvenience in the world when all you want to do is give them your money. I didn't want to bother writing a review, but my experience today really went over the top. Just went here 30 minutes ago and was surprised how rude the cashier was. I got a medium slurpee and was told that they didn't take card if purchase was under $2. Excuse me? I just went here last week to get a slurpee with a card and had no trouble at all. Now I'm being told differently? Okay.... I said that I went there last week and paid with card and he just shook his head no. Ok so now you're calling me a liar? Why would I lie about something like that. This update applies to the same visit as my earlier review, but there was one more bad point about the visit that I didn't know about at the time. The cash machine not only flooded me with ads before finally telling me about the $2.95 surcharge fee, it charged a fee anyway for a balance inquiry, even though I didn't actually do a balance inquiry (or at least I don't think I asked for one). The good news is that the charge was reversed, and I didn't have to ask for the reversal; I'm not sure whether the machine reversed the charge or if my bank automatically reversed it for some reason. In any case, that was one additional annoyance, even if the charge was reversed. read more

It's always good to have a place within walking distance of work to go get some grub while on your break. With though, this 7-11 is just sub par. I constantly have to ask for a bag, even when it's obvious I would struggle with carrying the amount of items I've purchased. If you're looking for recent special edition Slurpee cups, forget about it. They still have the Cowboys vs. Aliens ones from over a year ago! With that though, the store is always fairly clean and they do have speedy service as far as checkout goes. read more

I've liked this store before. For some reason, the gentleman helping me (doesn't matter what he looks like, but I can tell anyone who wants to know, what he looks like), was a bit "direct" with me, about how he was going to bag what I was buying. It was a little weird, as I had not had this experience before. This is just a 7-11 for crying out loud, not a supermarket (as in, most of us are cool with just having hot foods separate from everything else-keep the greasy stuff away from the non-foods, etc., or separate from cold foods/drinks, its not rocket science, basically)... At supermarkets of course, you can (politely) mention to a checker or bagger how you want certain things to be bagged (meat separate from other groceries, hot foods separate, etc.). Apparently, this is not the case here... No, he wanted my greasy hot food on top of a dvd or two I had bought. Well, thank goodness for the plastic around the dvd, because that grease (from the pizza) has a tendency to, you know, soak through the pizza box... Thats what I want. Greasy DVD's... I dunno. This store is so clean and organized! The employees are extremely kind. They always ask how I'm doing and greet me with a smile everyday I walk in. I love their promotions. The hot food is always fresh, and if I ever see a problem with anything (which is rare), the owner with a turban is more than happy to fix it for me. My best experience was during 711 day this year. They were running out of cups, so the manager saved a few just so the little kids could have them. SO KIND THOUGHTFUL! I would definitely recommend this store! read more

I live right down the street and have gone to this store for convenience a few times. The service was not friendly, but I never cared about that before. UNTIL TODAY......I could not believe how rude the clerk was today. There are two guys that work there every time I am in there, so I think they must be the franchise owners. Anyway, after the way I was harassed by one of those owners today I will NEVER EVER be back there again. I went in to pick up a fountain drink, and they were out of 3 syrups. So, I chose my 4th choice and then took a sip on my way to the checkout. It tasted like crap. So, I went back and proceeded to try the 5th choice and that still tasted like crap. So, I finally gave up and went to the refrigerator section and picked up a bottle drink. When I went to the counter, I thought I'd be nice and let them know there was something wrong with their fountain drink machine mix. I wasn't mad, just trying to let them know they were out of 3 syrups and that the mix wasn't right. The guy looked at me and said, "You're wrong. That machine is ran by a computer, it can't be mixing wrong." I told him that I'm 32 years old and have had fountain drinks all over the US and Europe, and I KNOW when there is something wrong. He continued to tell me that I couldn't be right, that there was something wrong with me. I told him to chill out, that I wasn't mad at him or the machine, but I was just trying to simply let him know. GEEZ!!!! WOW, he really got defensive over NOTHING. Furthermore, he was very, very rude and argumentative with a customer. BAD BAD BAD for customer retention. He'll never see another dollar from me. I'll go to the next place where they actually treat customers nicely. I don't go into a convenience store to be harassed and told that there is something wrong with me. The people at this location are extremely dishonest, thieving bastards. They steal pennies from hundreds of people every day and get away with it because most people don't care enough to say anything. I personally do not care about a penny but I do care when people try to steal from me. The last half a three times I went to this location, they owed me a penny but did not give it to me when giving me my change. I said something about it each time and they just tried to play stupid and said they gave me correct change and then asked me to leave. I was super irritated but just left anyways. Well, I went back again and they pulled the same stunt for the fourth time in a row. This time I made a big deal out of it and it took me over 2 minutes to convince the worker to open up the register and give me my penny. I don't care what the amount is. Stealing is stealing. I hate pennies and always leave them in the little cup even if I get 4 pennies back. But the simple fact of the matter is that is that are stealing from all their customers. Went into to this junk about an hour ago. I don't normally eat anything from 7-Eleven but for some reason I felt like a hot dog. There's usually this really cool Mexican dude working at this hour, but I don't know WHAT clown they had working tonight. This fool was in the back, on his phone laughing and joking in Urdu as customers came, peeked around the register for help, and went, and there was not ONE Big Bite rolling, not one slice of cardboard pizza, not one dried out chicken tender under the lamp. After people had left, due to having no help, I lingered to share with the dude the epic moment in 7-eleven history (the first time ever that I entered one that had NOTHING behind the glass), when I asked him how it was possible that the had nothing, he just looked at me like a bird that had just flown into window. It was like trying to talk to Ralph from the Simpsons. "No Big Bites?" Blank goofy stare. "You closing early this morning? Ya' know you guys are 24 hrs, right? Blank, goofy stare. "You didn't just rob this place did you?" Blank goofy stare. "You don't have Javier duct taped or cut up in the back do you?" Blank goofy stare, like one o'clock half-struck. Yeahhhh... I guess that was some form of silent but valuable diet advice, because it worked.Maybe my PT sent him to spy on me? Suddenly, I didn't want a hot dog anymore. I purchased these 7-11 coupons as a Halloween gift for my husband, they expire on the last day of 2016. I was having such a great Thursday, my son had had a Gingerbread house party at his school in that area. On our way home, I thought it would be nice to stop and use my coupons ( 1 Small Free Slurpee). My son (5yrs old) and I entered the store and I got 4 small Slurpee beverages and two small Pringles chips. My son opened one of the cans while we were waiting in line. We got to the register and he rung my order up and I gave him a $5.00 bill in cash and my coupons. He took my money but not my coupons. He proceeded to tell me that he can't honor those coupons and I have to use them at the 7-11 store that sold them to me. I was shocked and put off by what he was telling me. He was really rude about it too. So I changed my mind and didn't want to purchase those drinks and I only wanted to purchase the open can of Pringles chips. The man said no, I have to purchase those Slurpees now because they are my responsibility. I said no. He said yes. I said no. He said yes. He said he would call the police if I didn't pay. I said Do It! The police came, 2 officers, and one woman and one male. The woman police officer was very nice and the cashier argued with her too. I soon began to realize that this was a sexist thing. The male police officer then talked to him and agreed that I would pay for the 1 small can of Pringles that I opened and I payed him with a $5 dollar bill already, so I just needed my change. This gets better because after they had discussed that, the cashier turned and waved his hand at me and the woman police officer and said, "all for $5 dollar!" The male police officer had to say that is not what we just agreed upon! I stated, "Sir! I want to purchase the 1 can of Pringles chips that I opened and I payed you with a $5 already, so I need my change please!" He gave me my change and had the audacity to tell me not to come back! I was really frustrated that he not only wasted my time, but the cities time by being sexist and petty. Mind you my son is Autistic and impressed me that day with his responsible attitude to keep calm and carry on! I gave one of those coupons to the police officer because the cashier was asking for the Chief Supervisor to come down there and I wanted the Police officers to have documentation of the coupon that I was wanting to use. It was ridiculous customer service and I was insulted! I would not recommend this establishment for gas or Slurpee beverage or anything!
