I had a flat tire and put $2 of quarters in the XactAir machine. I went inside to notify the cashier and he replied "I don't know, ask the machine" I responded and to clarify that was what he said and he repeated the same thing. He said he can't do anything. I asked if he could refund my money and he said "no, go ask the machine" again. I tried calling the phone # on the machine but it was out of business hours. This incident happened around 8:30 PM on Monday September 1st. The exchange was with an employee that had a name badge "Jason". He was of South Asian decent. I really hope you guys get new night staff because you guys are going to continue to lose people frequenting this store. This is my local 7/11 I come here and use this same exact coupon in the picture all the time. I literally did it yesterday lol. I showed the register lady this coupon, a coupon that I use pretty often given the fact that I pay monthly for the 7/11 Gold Pass. I get to the register and I have an xl drink, like I normally do. I get to the register and the lady with an unnecessary attitude expressed that the coupon is for the regular size only. I know for a fact it's not. But fine, I abide and change my size. She then complains that I transfer the drink from the size I had to a smaller size. She's complaining about a literal cup. Then get to the register, and scan my coupon again, and this time the drink is a dollar which the coupon clearly states is a free drink. I show her the fine print and instead of making the situation better, She tries to argue with me about it instead of trying to find a solution. The drink isn't even the problem, it's the poor customer service that was completely unnecessary. I told her whatever let me just pay for the drink so I can leave and instead she decides to keep trying to argue to prove some point that is just incorrect. A black gentleman, I think his name was Damion was ringing me up at the register and was extremely weird with me, grabbing my hand, trying to get high fives. Shocking treatment from the staff. Living in this area, I frequent this 7-11. Like any convenience store, there is an expectation that most services are available but may cost more, the price to pay when you can save time. The problem with this 7-11 is that the staff are very rude. It seems to happen regularly that they do not want to help the customer. Recently I went in to get some cash, I used their ATM which charges a fee and took out cash. All the cash came out in $20's, no big deal. I ask the cashier if she can break one do the 20's for two 10's while she has the register open and while looking at me closes the register and says I have to buy something to break a bill. Shocked, I kind of laugh and then ask again, explaining that I just used their ATM. Both cashiers from behind the counter raise their voices and demand I buy something. Although this 7-11 is the closest to me, I absolutely don't like it. Ordered a pizza to this location. 2x. And 2x I had issues. First time, I ordered it via 711's own 7NOW app. I chose store pickup. When I went to pick it up, the cashier refused to give me the pizza. She said she needed to see my name on the order. I showed her my actual purchase order in the app. She said unless she saw my name on the order page she wouldn't let me get it. Why not?!?! The order page in the app doesn't even show the name. All it says to do is give them the generated number from the app and I'd be good to go. She finally went to get a manager. Manager came out and had to tell her that customers CAN pickup their own app orders (which I was doing). She apparently thought I was from grub hub or door dash or something. NO! I literally ordered it from your own 7-11 app. When the manager told her it was fine she legit threw the pizza at me and shoved it. UM Excuse me?!? You're the one that is incompetent and now you're getting mad at the fact that you didn't actually know that I could place my own order and was in fact picking up MY own order?!? As I am standing near the coffee waiting on my wife, a door closes near me, about 15-20 feet away and then, this LOUD MOUTH, female clerk (could be a male, who knows these days) heads towards the door and says LOUDLY "BOSS?" This LOUD mouth woman, with dark skin, and long braids (not natural hair) is the RUDEST clerk that I have ever encountered since I began patronizing this business since 1990. So, I inform the owner of his clerks actions and then this LOUD mouth beezee says, "SHE WAS SCARED THAT SOMEONE WENT INTO THE BATHROOM AND THE RESTROOMS ARE FOR EMPLOYEES ONLY!" This dumb beezee did not have enough sense to think how a person could move 15-20 feet go to restroom and then back to the coffee area. i grew up in mira mesa and only recently moved back, this 711 was a staple of my childhood but upon my return as an adult i now refuse to go back without my boyfriend despite it being the most convenient gas station. there are two incredibly friendly long-time employees working there, unfortunately they are heavily overshadowed by their unprofessional coworkers. on SEVERAL occasions i have been inappropriately talked to or approached by numerous male employees; mostly at check-out but a few times around the very small store, as well as in the parking lot where one worker followed me to my car and asked for my number on more than one occasion and another made continuous comments about my purchases to the point where i no longer felt comfortable as a customer there. i understand that there is an inherent sketchiness when it comes to gas station, particularly in regards to men addressing women--a ridiculous thing to accept--and nothing that happened here has been as startling as other interactions i've had at other establishments, but this is the most consistently i've been regarded in this manner, to the point where i now go out of my way to get gas. any other young women who frequent this 711, just a head's up if you get a bad feeling just dip and hit the circle k instead read more

Since my last review of this place, there has been some changes. Biggest change, for me, is that the coffee restock girl doesnt restock during the morning rush (or at least while I am a part of the morning rush). Thats such a huge difference... it only takes a minute to get my coffee now :) Customer service has improved a lot - in fact, the manager now says "Good Morning" and "hi" to me regularly, as does all of the staff now. Thats an improvement from a couple years ago, for sure! Staff has added a few cool people - Ben, Tom, ect.. they are very personable and quick. All in all, this 7-11 went from one of my most dreaded to one of my favorites. I am glad that they caught on and started being nice, and Ben/Tom really helped that! Good Job, 7-11 :) read more

Has 2 redbox machines outside... I suggest reserving online before arriving - it takes less than 30 seconds to checkout. This spot is always busy - located really close to a number of complexes.
