Cute cafe with yummy eats! I came in on a weekend and they were not busy. I had the plain crodot…read more(croissant-donut) and Green Goddess juice - the pastry was flaky and just the right amount of sweetness while the juice was tangy and refreshing. Great place for a quiet cafe visit.

Back in town for JeepFest & our hotel's breakfast wasn't all that so when I mentioned to bestie…read morethat I would be hunting down a pastry while her and my godson were on their first beach cruise Saturday morning she asked me to wait so they could join me. I already knew this was my destination as I had been following them since they opened in VB. Upon our arrival we found the Cafe about a 1/4th of the way full so I had hopes for breakfast in a quiet setting. Even though there was a steady flow of traffic, we were able to dine in a relaxed setting without feeling rushed. I mention this because with it being a holiday weekend full of Jeepers, I fully expected them to be packed. The wait to order was too long as it left me staring at the pastry window so long I almost ordered one of everything however; I refrained from doing so but still bought 4 pastries, French toast & seasoned potatoes. Yes yes, alot of food for 1 person but I still had 2 days left in my visit and well, I have a thing for pastries. The pastries were: mango & passion fruit eclair, a pineapple muffin, lemon raspberry cake & profiteroles. I loved everything with the exception of the eclair. It wasn't anything against the eclair, it's just the mango/passionfruit mixture was just too passionate for my tastes. The muffin reminded me of my own homemade upside pineapple cake without all the brown sugar. It was light and buttery. The Lemon raspberry slice was delightful & not the least bit tart or too sweet. A mixture of both flavors without either one overpowering the other. The cake was super moist, perfect. The profiteroles were my favorite. They reminded me of that feeling I had the 1st time I tasted them while living in Italy. The choux perfectly baked and so delightfully light. The French toast was good enough without the side of syrup. The star for me of the breakfast items were the potatoes. I LOVED them. They were served HOT, seasoned just right with their insides softer that a baby bottom. I coulda just ordered 2 servings of those & bypassed the toast. All in all, well worth the wait. The folks were friendly, the Cafe clean and the seating plentiful and comfortable. I would recommend this place for both pastries & French toast & spuds.

The loveliest barista works there. Impo, there is nothing better in the morning than a barista who…read moreis not only friendly and kind but talks to you like you are more than a mere customer. There is a great cappuccino there... not sure if they still serve food, but the last time I had an avocado toast with egg - it was delicious. There is great ambiance there... sitting at the bar is what I typically do, and that is one of the best parts of this coffee shop. Many coffee shops do not have much of a bar, if they have one at all. I am trying to keep myself from going every day, but that's a difficult thing to do. **This place will become my go-to for a morning pick-me-up, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Highly recommend.**

Over all it was pretty good and we will be back if we are in the area again. My drink was an iced mocha (my go to!) and my husband got a cold brew with cold foam. The cold foam didn't hold up well but the taste was great! I didn't realize all the food that was available until we got there. I'm not sure what gluten free options they have but I will check that out again. He did get a muffin but it wasn't the best, and he did not finish it. Over all for the location we will likely be back because I do love that it is right by the Lesner bridge where we like to walk.
