    Chicken Melt

I had no idea this place was here and the only thing I am upset about is that I did not know about it earlier. It has a cool vibe, casual and fun. Parking is tight during peak hours. It has food, coffee and drinks. Lunch and breakfast. I had no idea. Cool wood tables a community table and cool seating nooks and a bar. Merch for sale. You order, pay and sit. They call your name, you grab your food and drinks and sit and enjoy. Clean up after yourself. We ordered a chicken melt and I got a cold brew coffee. We were splitting a sandwich and they even put it on 2 plates for us and we each got a pickle. The sandwich was so good with fresh ingredients. The rosemary bread was delicious but not strong enough to hold the ingredients so I ended up eating it with a fork. I have already told friends about this place and I will be back. The menu looks so good.

    Smoothie

Smoothies are supposed to be smooth. Worst drink I've ever had in my life. Was chunky, completely unripe fruit, and not sweet at all whatsoever.

Looking for a local coffeehouse at a great location? Try American Brew. Excellent coffee and baked goods. My wife and I live to go here then walk across the Lesner Bridge.

A nice vanilla latte and a PB&J latte to start the day.

My wife and I were driving by and decided to stop at American Brew, and we're glad we did. The inside is very nice and cozy, with a welcoming vibe that makes it a great spot to relax. They offer a monthly drink menu in addition to their regular coffee options, plus some fun adult coffee drinks. Their food menu also has a good mix of breakfast and lunch choices. We tried the iced vanilla latte and the iced PB&J latte--both were excellent. For food, we shared the steak and cheese breakfast burrito, which was amazing. The thinly sliced steak really made it stand out. Overall, a great find with tasty drinks, delicious food, and a comfortable atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

I planned to order a 20oz latte to enjoy in a mug, but the barista let me know they only serve up to 16oz for drinks "for here," so I went with that. When my drink was ready, it came in a paper to-go cup instead. I mentioned that I'd asked for a mug, so she poured it with a tude from the cup into one -- which wasn't ideal since the coffee had already touched the paper surface and probably made it loose a little heat. The froth and layers didn't hold up as well after being poured, which was a little disappointing. That said, the coffee itself tasted good, the café had a nice, lively atmosphere, and the prices were fair. It's a cold day and it's a bit chilly in here - we still have our coats on. I just wish the dine-in option had been handled a bit more carefully. What would've been nice is to offer to remake it in a mug (I should have insisted on this).

Just what I needed and in boycott Starbucks day! Fabulous lattes, great big moist muffins and a truly delicious avocado toast.

Gave this cafe a try since it was walking distance from the beach. It was a little overwhelming upon first entering due to the music being loud and there was lots to see & I wasn't quite sure where to order at first. There's plenty of seating indoors & a wonderful outdoor seating area. We ordered an Açaí Bowl & a Green Goddess smoothie with a side of Fresh seasonal fruit. The Açaí bowl had fresh and sweet fruit with a perfect combo of each fruit and the right amount of granola. The smoothie portion was tasty and went well with all the fruit. I'll definitely order this one again. As for the Green Goddess smoothie, I wouldn't order again. It wasn't terrible, just lacked any real flavor beyond chalky green flavor. We took a few sips & wrote that one off. The Fresh Seasonal fruit side was perfect and exactly what our beach day needed. Can't wait to come back & try more of the menu and experience dining in. Highly recommend!

Freshly baked blueberry muffins, a rich & fabulous Almond Joy Latte, and a vibe that was exactly what I needed to kickstart a bright and wonderful morning. The barista was incredibly friendly and amazing, making the experience even sweeter. As I drove out of town on an icy yet sunny Monday morning, American Brew was the perfect stop to warm up and soak in some positivity. The flavors, the atmosphere, and the friendly service made it unforgettable. Can't wait for my next visit and I must get some of this merch!!.

Great service. Nice and calm ambience combined with great food. They are currently sponsoring Spikes's K9 so they are true to their name American Brew. Found my new breakfast spot

    Spring Fling Latte Iced

We have been a big fans of the Locally owned American brew for its amazing atmosphere, friendly Baristas and superior coffee and breakfast options. The new April special "Spring Fling Latte" was no exception. The Iced, strawberry simple syrup infused white chocolate latte was the perfect refreshment after a beautiful day at the beach!

Love going to this place on the weekends after going to first landing . You can't go wrong with any of the drinks I normally get one of their seasonal drinks and their breakfast bowls are awesome and a large portion . The customer service is amazing, the vibe of this place is great one of my favorite places to go . Inside and outside seating .

Definitely earned my updated 5 star review this time. Maybe it's the more less crowded, more laid back day but I feel that there's more attention paid to the details, less rushed to order, and maybe seemingly more selections. I ordered to go: steak quesadilla and power bowl with chicken, quinoa and hummus. The latter was yummy, 5 stars. The quesadilla is a 4, slightly more oily to my liking.

    Great breakfast!

First, let me say the service was absolutely TOP TIER! The staff was attentive, friendly, and the overall atmosphere definitely gave that elevated dining experience. I don't mind paying for a fine dining experience as long as the food matches the experience. We started with the crab dip appetizer, and honestly it was solid. Definitely a good appetizer choice. For drinks, I kept it simple with a tequila sunset and substituted pineapple juice for orange juice a good drink! Now for the meals. I ordered the lamb chops with mashed potatoes and green beans. I hate to even say this because I had such high hopes, but the lamb chops lacked seasoning for me. I ordered them medium, but they were definitely more medium rare. I love a medium rare ribeye, but not so much with lamb chops. The mashed potatoes and green beans were decent, but overall needed a little more flavor. My husband had the Butcher's Burger with wedges. He said it was a solid burger, slightly overcooked, but still good overall. He did enjoy the different flavor the pork belly added. My daughter ordered the Pasta Pescatore and said it was good, but not necessarily an "oh my goodness, I have to come back for this" type of dish. Overall, because so many people told me I would LOVE The Butcher's Son, I think my expectations were extremely high. The experience and service were excellent, but the food itself didn't completely wow me. It was good, just probably not my first choice for a return visit.

The atmosphere is nice, the food is spectacular, service this time was just ok but not something that would ruin our night. Our waiter was very absent for the most part, it did take a while for us to get our drinks and order; not much check backs for refills and such but overall he was a good server. The food is always amazing, I've never had a negative experience for their food. And the location is nice. The establishment is clean, more on the higher end, we came in dressed to impress for our date but you had a mix of how people were dressed. Down to just your everyday wear. 10/10 recommend

This location was extremely busy and packed when I visited, and honestly, that's usually a good sign...when a place stays that busy, clearly something is going right. What really stood out to me, though, was Colton. He went well beyond what I would normally expect from someone working the host/to-go area. He personally made sure my steak was exactly how I wanted it and genuinely seemed concerned about whether I was happy with my order. That type of customer service deserves recognition. He knows how to take care of customers, and in my opinion, he deserves a raise! I do think there is an opportunity for improvement when it comes to management. There was a manager positioned at the front during my visit, and while I obviously don't know her personally or whether she is generally a nice person, her disposition toward customers did not come across as particularly friendly or welcoming. More importantly, I noticed a clear difference in how warmly she interacted with certain customers versus others. When you're in a management position, customers should feel like they're receiving the same level of courtesy and hospitality across the board..you shouldn't pick and choose who gets the friendly version of you. It was especially noticeable because she remained at the front for much of the time, closely overseeing the hosts, so those of us waiting on to-go orders could clearly observe the differences in her interactions with different patrons. If you're going to be that visible and hands-on with your staff, I think it's even more important to model the same customer service you expect from them. Thankfully, Colton did exactly that. Despite how packed and hectic the restaurant was, he remained attentive, personable, and genuinely cared about making sure I left satisfied. Colton was absolutely amazing and was easily the standout of my experience. Management should recognize him because employees who care about customers like that are a huge part of why people come back.

Super glad we stopped in, the vibe is incredibly comfortable and cool and envelops your soul. Ambience: super cool, comfortable, a little dark, exposed brick walls with plaster patches, hardwood floors, heavy wood and leather furniture, incredible bar that is more like two bars in an L-shape with an unbelievable selection of anything you could ever want. This place is very solid feeling, you just feel safe and tucked in. Service: was fantastic, we met the executive chef named Ty who greeted us before we even sat down, just saw us sitting in the foyer bar and came over to say hello, very cool. We were greeted and seated by an absolute sweetheart upfront named Jackson and our server couldn't have been nicer, her name was Casey. Food: the food is all served tapas style, smaller plates, but well curated with interesting and innovative ingredients with beautiful presentation. Unfortunately, they were out-of four things that my wife wanted, she didn't want all of them simultaneously, she wanted one and they were out, and that happened three more times. Apparently, they often order in smaller batches and buy locally so sometimes they don't have as much as someplace buying in bulk, that's as much a positive as a negative, not a bad thing, just a bit of a bummer that she didn't get her first few choices. She ended up with the duck tacos which were good. We started with the brussels sprouts, which were also good and had nice presentation. We also started with bacon wrapped tots, the dish came with four of them and chili ketchup, beautifully presented, and rich, creamy, crunchy and yummy. I ordered the braised beef and fry bread and it was my favorite thing, very beefy flavored, warm and rich on soft pillowy fry bread with some cool crunch and crispy, thin plantain slices, very good. We started with a Chocolate Cherry Old Fashioned that was delicious. Overall the food was very good and the value was decent at around $12-$16 per plate. Overall: this was a really good experience and I'd go back to try some of the things they were out of and enjoy the incredible bar and stellar, considerate, thoughtful service. Definitely recommend!

The sauces were good, especially the beer cheese (at least they haven't changed that). What was pretty terrible were the pretzels themselves. They take the longer soft pretzel logs and cut them into bite size pieces. And then they are FRIED. Who fries soft pretzels? They were hard and greasy. This is the first time in our history of ordering a soft pretzel appetizer that we just couldn't finish it. They were that bad. For entrees Hubby ordered the crispy chicken Caesar and I got the burger with fries. Hubby's salad was huge, but there was way too much Parmesan cheese. He never did get a good taste of the dressing because of that. The chicken on the other hand was well fried and still juicy inside. I ordered my burger medium, and it came out mid-rare, which is how I eat them anyway. The burger itself was salty - guessing the flattop maybe hasn't been cleaned after lunch? The top bun spent a little too much time on the flat top as well. The pickles they use are sour (some people like that, I don't mind), but if you are not a fan of sour pickles, you'll want to skip them. Service was fantastic and it's a very clean place (restrooms are particularly clean). I am sure it is a great place to go for drinks - the bar is pretty extensive. But since we don't bar hop anymore, I don't think we will be going back. One last word on the pretzel appetizer because I am still shaking my head over that. If you want to serve pretzel bites so there are more ways to try all the dipping sauces, just purchase pretzel bites and bake them.
