Can we talk about 7-Eleven coffee for a sec bc WHAT is going on Some locations got the carafes like they're fancy. Others just brew a kiddie pool of coffee and dump it in a giant thermos to rot. Pick a struggle. So I pull up and the coffee is giving _iced coffee without the ice_ + bitter. Asked the employee if they could brew fresh and I stood there like an FBI agent watching the whole operation. Bro goes to the machine, does some button magic, grabs the thermos, gives it a lil hip bump, and walks away. Sir. SIR. Are we not gonna dump the crusty old coffee first??? There's def a cold coffee graveyard at the bottom of that thermos and you just poured hot coffee on top like it's a layered latte I was shook. Suddenly questioning every life choice that led me to 7-Eleven at 8am. BUT plot twist: thank GOD 7-Eleven isn't the only coffee dealer anymore bc his laziness sent me straight to Extra Mile down the street. And bestie... they got this new machine that's actually fire. 7-Eleven fumbled so hard I found an upgrade. I went to this 711 at like 11pm on Thursday night and I got ice cream. Well when I got then home they were freezer burned completely throughout the entire pint. I was not going to eat that. It's gross to meet. But I couldn't go back because it was like 20 min away so I said I would go when I went home the next day on Friday. So Friday at about 8 or 9 still less than 24 hours when I bought it I went to return them. The guy starts telling me that I can't return them. It's not the same day. Has to be the same day. Can't be longer than 24 hours. I was like seriously? It have been 24 hours yet. He didn't give two shits. They let their inventory sit out before they put it away. RUDE employee. When u asked questions he ignored me. I asked where the gift cards were. When I checked out he then told me I need to pay cash for a gift card. I get gift card for my kids friends bdays all the time. Never required to pay cash for a gift card ANYWHERE! He told me it's company policy. Well it's not cause I looked up while I was there. I will never step foot inside this location again. Also, their gift cards were in a box on the floor in the back of the store. I bet they have a gift card scam and that's why they're only requiring you to pay cash so the consumer is not protected. Do not buy any gift cards for this location they are shady, shady shady. I've been here a few times before and the clerks are friendly and the store section and pumps are clean. I've never used the rumored to be scary DIRTY bathrooms. Gas prices are good, and they have a nice convenience store with all the accoutrements you would expect from a 7-Eleven. read more

Not many other convenience options downtown Santa Barbara, so if you're looking for something cheap late night or last minute this is a safe bet. Came in on Saturday around 2pm. Only employee there (a teenager?) was wearing one of those lame face shield masks, which would be bad enough since they do very little to protect customers. But this dude had the mask FLIPPED UP and not over his face at all while he was walking around the store, handling food, etc. Not super happy that the employee wasn't wearing a mask at all, especially since our own president was hospitalized with the virus. read more

I used to like this store to grab a quick bite for lunch, but there's this tall/skinny guy with a dirty beard behind the counter that is so lazy and rude! He also seems shady. I bought a menthol cigarette pack and he switched it for another non-menthol pack that looks similar. I asked him to exchange it or to refund it, and this guy said to come back later. This was during the time CA is slowly stopping menthol cigs, and I know he switch the packs so he can keep the menthol that I requested. I do like the lady (Manager) that works there though. I stop by this store every Monday mornings & i like the staff who is jolly & has good personality towards the customers but today it was different. I came in today around 8:15 in the morning after my night shift work. I love to get my early morning coffee from this store plus my lottery tickets but today i lost my interest because the "boy" behind the counter was kind a rude. I went to the coffee area & there was no coffee made yet. I tried some dispensers & they are either cold or empty. The Columbian & Brazilian bold were cold. When i called his attention that was the only time he will make the coffee. Was it really busy or he just lazy or slow? When i get to the counter i heard him say $2.49 thats for my coffee but i asked should i pay both the lotto here & coffee? Sad sad situation. These employees are the ones that give 7-11's name a bad reputation. I purchased gas bc price was good. Went inside and bc they advertised with signs $ 1.29 for diet coke,went to the counter and I was overcharged. I brought it to mans attention and he denied overcharging me so I asked for receipt and pointed out how he charge me $3.79 and that was before tax...so he gets an older later of same decent and she tells me I am wrong,I told her the signs are still up advertising $1.29 she then proceeded to lie and told me I am confused it was for Pepsi,I kindly asked for a refund. The lady heads to diet coke and I watch her remove the signs. #1 she called me a liar! That's enough for me. I've been here before and the clerks are friendly and it's seems clean. Today I made the horrific mistake of going into the women's restroom while my husband was filling up our truck for a road trip. Have u ever seen the movie Trainspotting? Well it's not that bad but I can guarantee you nobody has the responsibility of keeping the he ladies Room clean. Dirt was caked on the walls and floor.
