I stopped by 7 Flags Car Wash today for my regular full service wash. I was told they no longer provide any full service care and are now just another drive through car wash. After somewhere around 30 plus years of regular visits for full service and twice yearly detailing, it's just another gas station drive through, without gas. I took the change as a slap in the face to Vacaville and their customers. I hope to see them close the doors and give someone who cares about Vacaville have a chance to give us another full service operation. I'll admit I was quite angry to see the change. If you just want to thrown your money in a machine and drive through, you have several locations available that are a lot easier to get in and out of and get gas and food while you're at it. May they return to Vallejo and rot. The employees I talked to today told me they were angry about the change and it was evident in their short, rude explanation. read more

I had signed up for their text messaging and received a free lava wash. We are trying to sell my son's car and so I paid $20 more to upgrade it to have the interior cleaned. I'm giving this five stars because Ryan was the one who came and got me to tell me it was ready. I pointed out that the monthly car wash sticker was still on the window that I had asked to have removed, and the carpet on the sides of the front seats had not been vacuumed. He got somebody to assist with the sticker and then he started vacuuming. I had told him we were trying to sell the car but I didn't expect to get much out of it. He went the extra mile and moved all the seats forward finding more items underneath and then vacuumed it out completely. He didn't have to do that and I really appreciate him giving me five star service. He definitely went the extra mile! read more

I have been going to this car wash for many years, not only because it's one of the very few full service car washes but it was good value. Now we aren't supposed to wash cars at home because of the drought and my truck was due a good wash. The machine does an ok job, as good as any other drive thru, but don't bother paying for upgraded services like the wheel package. Paid more then basic full service and my wheels and tires look axactly like they did when I brought truck in. I tried to ask someone and although it wasn't that busy, they all managed to go find something to be busy doing. My interior windows also looked wiped but not cleaned. They change the rules whenever they want to. Then when you're 3rd brake light spoiler rips off in there wash and they 1st offer to replace/ fix it then tell you you're 2007 is to old they want you to fill out a waiver. Don't bring a 2016 Jeep Wrangler they don't want that either. But if you have a 2019 Dodge truck they will cancel your membership 3 times and say it's your fault. My wife noticed some marks around the edge of her car hood that had some greenish tint to it, almost a crayon look to it. We thought and thought what had happened and the only reasonable cause we could think of was the car wash. So we head down there and the manager Joel comes to help. He takes a look and nicely says "it doesn't look like our machines could do this but let me try to get these marks off". He has us run through the car wash and my wife said there was no possible way it could of done these marks. He grabs a rag and gets every single mark and scratch out of our car. He even got a big tree sap stain we had on our car for over a year out!!! What caused those marks to begin with remains a mystery but what is not a mystery is that Joel went WAY above and beyond customer service when he didn't have to read more

Not great at all. They have 3 "lanes" to enter for car wash service, but only 1 of the 3 lanes for people that have the "unlimited monthly pass". What this means is it is for people with "unlimited time" to WAIT while the 7 flags employees 'sell' to new people in that one single lane. Today there were about 7 vehicles lined up in the "express" lane (the other 2 lanes are "full service" (high-dollar) ONLY. A female employee conducted some kind of sales seminar with a customer who was at the FRONT of the line. This went on for many minutes while the rest of us (hapless fools) cooled our jets in the (non-moving) line. Since I have the monthly pass, I had no option, I was 'trapped' by vehicles in front and behind me. This happens ALL THE TIME at this particular location because of the poor physical design of the facility. They are catering to those who want to pay all the money for "full service". Even if there are NO CARS in the full-service lines, a person with the monthly pass CAN NOT USE THOSE OTHER TWO LANES! How poor is that? Pretty poor. The physical layout of this particular facility is BAD BAD BAD. Every time I come here, I regret my choice of 7 Flags. I am actually considering going to Kwik Kwak, a new car wash here in Vacaville, and buying my monthly pass from them. I recognize there are limitations of the facility caused by it's very small postage-stamp sized lot. On the other hand, I know Mr. Anthony and he's a very smart guy. SURELY the company could figure a way to bring customers through the guard-gate and have the customer pull off to the side (and out off the line) so that the folks BEHIND THEM could move UP. With a monthly pass, an electronic eye 'reads' your pass and then opens the gate to let you through. The car wash itself (exterior only) is "OK" and fulfills a purpose. The fact that the employees are in absolutely NO HURRY and have NO REGARD for those that are waiting behind their sales efforts a few cars back? VERY POOR SERVICE! I have used both of his Vacaville locations (there is a bigger and more-efficient one on Monte Vista. Unfortunately, the Elmira Road location is closer to both my home and Costco. So I tend to go to Elmira more often than Monte Vista. Another "negative" of the Elmira facility - NO FREE VACUUMS! My vehicle had some tracked-in dirt on the driver's side. I surmised they MUST have some vacuum cleaners available for the montly pass customers, but was told "Only our other location on Monte Vista offers free vacuums." All things considered, I think I may well be better off to drop my pass with 7 Flags and give Kwik Kwak a try. I hope Mr. Jack Anthony will read this and perhaps put his mind to the task of taking better care of all his customers, not just the ones who are paying maximum dollars on a hit-or-miss basis. The monthly pass is a money maker or he would drop it in a hot minute. read more

It was hard to decide between 2 and 3 stars for this car wash. I ordered a Full Service wash, and on one hand they did a pretty good job on the inside; however, one of the main reasons one might go to a car wash is to get the outside clean. In this area they failed. They left tree sap, dirt, bird guano, bug splatter, etc. I had to wonder, do I have to actually pay extra for the latter to be cleaned? I mean, does the price just include a quick zip through the automatic car wash, a quick wipe, and that's that? It seems to me a Full Service would include checking all areas for things like bug splats, guano, etc. Needless to say this will probably the last time I will bring my car to this place. read more

The Suburban was in need of some TLC, both inside & out. Pulled up & was greeted by Janessa. I told her what I wanted & she ran through my options. I opted for the Ultimate Wash and Interior Super Clean. There was an extra $5.00 Large Detail charge added for the Suburban. With my Yelp check in I received $5.00 off. The staff was very friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. There was a comfortable waiting area with many items for sale. From greeting cards, to food, candy and car items. Walked into the building after letting Janessa know what I wanted, and saw their wall of "employees of the month." There she was on the wall! Not surprising, considering how friendly& helpful she was. They have a kid's power scrub gun where they can "shoot" the cars going through the wash with extra suds! Cute idea for them! While waiting, Ron kept me entertained. Very friendly and funny guy. Not surprising, he was on the employee of the month wall a couple of times too! They did a great job on my suburban. She was pretty dirty on the inside too. They took their time and paid close attention to detail. Vacuumed all the nooks and crannies. Wiped everything down and made her shine! Today, I got back home and realized there were several things that were either completely missed or not done well. I called and asked to speak to the detail manager. A man named Joe got on the line and listened intently to my concern, sincerely apologized and asked me to come back as soon as I could to make it right. I drove back down, they welcomed me back and after agreeing with me that it should have been done better, promptly went to work to make it right. I'm torn about this review because I have always brought my car here for washes and all the workers I've met here have been very nice. HOWEVER today I took my car in for a full detailing of the interior. Last night my dog unfortunately had diarrhea in the backseat of my car and before bringing my car in I called this establishment, explain to them the situation and two separate workers told me that it was no problem. I dropped my car off and they said that it would be done in approximately an hour. After coming to pick up my car a second time I looked the seats and told them the vacuuming needed to be done again. There was still dog hair on the seats and residue from the diarrhea. They said that it was no problem and took the car back to redo it. Another two hours later I went back to the car wash and saw my car was sitting out in the sun with no one working on it and no one had called me either. (At this point my car has been there for almost 5 hours) I started examining the backseat, when a lady came up to me and said it is actually against the law for them to clean up diarrhea and vomit. I told her that THREE pervious workers had told me that it was no problem and that was the ONLY REASON I PAID $120.00 FOR THIS SERVICE. What I got back was a disgrace to a business. Over all experience was ok. Went this morning when it opened and I got a full service wash and mentioned my concern was the front of the car and the rims. The front had dead bugs and mentioned I would really like them removed. As for the rims they weren't to bad but had dirt the usual. After spending decent amount on the service the front still had bugs and looked like it barely got touched. And for the rims they still had brown spots and dirt. I don't have any experience with the interior cleaning jobs, but I always come here for a quick car wash since they advertise the 3 or 5 minute car wash for ~$5-7. If my car is super dirty, sometimes I'll get the Ultimate car wash $11 that comes with the rainbow colored suds that smell sooo good, but for a basic car wash, the regular one does the trick. They're usually not that busy when I go, but even if they are, the car wash is super fast so you're in and out in a jiffy. The only downside is I have noticed some scratches on the top of my trunk and around the doors after I get a car wash, but they're not that noticeable and it's not like some other car washes that have a touchless option, so it is what it is. read more

I called yesterday and received a quote for detailing services. I was very specific in what I needed and repeated exactly what we talked about just so there was no miscommunication. When I arrived the intake girl would not honor the quote and told me it was going to be $100 to $150 more than what I was quoted. I told her I knew she worked on commission and was trying to upsell me. She agreed but wouldn't budge or honor my quote. Needless to say, I left and won't be doing any business at 7flags. Changing my 1 star to 5 star. Brought my new Jaguar F-pace here and ended up with scuff marks down the passenger side. This is the only place I have brought the car and brought it in and spoke with josh the manager. He didn't ask questions and made it right.
