Here's the tea: In my opinions it's better then the average cup of boba. Atmosphere was busy even those the wait time was about 5-6 minutes. We ordered three drinks: Thai Tea with Boba, Assam milk tea with custard pudding, and Oolong milk tea with custard pudding. The Thai Tea a good cup, very vibrant flavors and definitely good in terms of what is present in Dallas. The pearls have a good chew but still soft. The Assam Milk Tea taste like Asian grass jelly drink. Instead of boba we opted for pudding. The pudding is good, there just wasn't enough in the cup. The Oolong Milk Tea strong and a tad bit sweet in my opinion. Not enough pudding :( Overall, very tea-sty, just not enough pudding. read more

The first thing I can say about 7 Leaves is, AMAZING! When I moved from San Francisco to Dallas one of main worries were 'where will I get my coffee and where will my daughter get her boba'. The space is great to catch up with friends and the menu has a little something for everyone. I wish this spot were more consistent. During the week when it's slower, the quality and customer service are excellent. On weekends, the customer service goes down and the quality of the boba is really bad. Went in tonight and got clumpy, chewy boba and had 4 different girls working there who wouldn't make eye contact, didn't say anything other than 'what can I get for you?' We usually get boba whenever we are in California. Now they have a location in Dallas so we willing to drive 20 min on tollway to get our fix. The mung bean drink was light and aromatic with pandan leaves flavor. The few places that have jasmin tea witg sea cream. The latest have been strawberry hisbiscus. I had the House coffee and it was pretty strong but refreshing. I think I will try taro drink next. The only drawback is you are unable to adjust the sweetness from what I am told. Theb owner took my order and wr chatted. He will be opening more locations and Arlington will be convenient for me. The service here has always been friendly and fast. Another great drink place! There is only a few of these cafes around the dfw area, so this one is the closest to me and I'm located in north Fort Worth. Quite a drive but worth it for the drinks. My favorite is their mung bean milk tea. Such a rich mung bean flavor. They are open for take-out, but I don't believe they offer dine/sit in yet. They are practicing social distancing and taking sanitary measures. Definitely recommend checking them out! read more

For the boba, I ordered the sunset passion drink. It came out to about $5 for the regular size, which is typical for most boba places. This drink stood out to me because the fruit was very fresh, and it tasted very natural. It had a slice of orange in it as well, which was a nice touch. I didn't adjust sugar level and probably would've liked it a little less sweet, but overall it was a pleasant experience and drink. Definitely would come back again! 7 Leaves is great for many reasons - their default cup size is already plenty large, nice space in one of the most happening plazas in Carrollton and best of all, you can sample more or less anything on the menu before you decide what you want to buy. I've tried a good chunk of their drinks and am very happy with all of them. The assam black tea is rich and deeper flavor compared to other black teas, but if you want something a little lighter, the oolong is very good too. Coffee here is excellent as well - they have some sweeter stuff and some lighter sweet options, so up to you. The mint sereno is on the less sweet side and hard to taste the mint but also worth trying - otherwise stick to the house coffee. Note: everything is mostly premade, so you can't really adjust sugar levels, which is the one downside of 7 leaves if the drinks are too sweet for your liking. read more

Ahhh my new favorite boba place!! I got the matcha soy with boba, and it's absolutely amazing! Not many boba places have matcha, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw matcha tea and soy options! I got the matcha soy and was certainly not disappointed. It's the right amount of matcha with the right amount of sweetness. You can't adjust the sugar level here, but I had no problem with the sweetness of my drink. The ambiance is pretty relaxed, too, and the store is really cute! All their drinks have sugar! I am so surprised- They don't offer black iced coffee which I found so odd - all their drinks even tea is sweetened. I ordered the iced coffee (thinking it was black) and sereno iced. The sereno was good but still too sweet. Staff told me that they cannot control the sweetness. The staff was friendly and replaced my iced coffee w/ a couple shots of espresso over ice but I probably won't come back. If you prefer drinks on the sweeter side, you'd enjoy this place. read more
