Mozart Bakery is now one of my favorite Korean bakeries that I've tried. The selection that you'll find here is similar to other Asian bakeries. The store is cute, and the servers are nice. Because I stopped by pretty late at night, many of the pastries were sold out. I ended up getting the Milk Sticks, Pecan Cookies, and Coffee Marble Pound Cake. They also have a wide selection of coffees, teas, smoothies, and other desserts available, so I got the Black Milk Tea. Everything turned out super delicious, so I really regret not getting more pastries from here. I will definitely be back for more next time I'm back in the DFW area. read more

It's a huge place inside with lots of options from coffee to snacks and desserts. Just like 85 Degree and Paris Baguette but I'd rate Paris and 85 above this We tried peace tree and hazelnut coffee with the mouse. Most items are same or similar to other Korean bakeries but was thankful to find a handful of new items to try. For example, I found a sobaro mochi. Tastes like sobaro but with the chewiness of mochi! I really enjoyed it. I also loved the old style bingsoo (shaved ice with mochi bites, sweet red beans, vanilla ice cream). It's December yet such summer Korean dessert is served in Texas. Love it! The bakery was surprisingly roomy inside with plenty of tables and chairs for customers who want to linger while enjoying their drinks and desserts. Another item I saw that was unique but did not get to try is macaroon ice cream sandwiches. Will have to return to try that another time. read more

I wish I had taken pictures. One cake was $30-$45 and I needed cake for 4. I didn't want to waste cake. Luckily they had individual slices. We got an Oreo chocolate, mousse chocolate, red velvet and a latte slice. They were all delicious! They are all individually wrapped and place in a box. She was very careful to not allow them to touch and even put a cup in between 2 slices to keep them up right. No recommendations were made and they could shave even more welcoming. The Internet was down so I went to the nearest coffee shop and I had planned to work. The coffee was just OK I asked for milk and was shown in an area where they had coffee mate no milk. The coffee was not very good and the music even though it was 9:30 AM was very very loud. I had my AirPods in with noise cancellation and I could still hear the rock music.! this never happens with my AirPods. I'm not sure why I would go back :( read more

Cyoooooot bakery with lots of yummy options (and let me say I'm really not big on super sweet food/drinks), lots of clean places to sit and some great natural light from the big windows. The service was decent, not amazing. We got the Oreo cake, mocha cake, a strawberry mouse cake, macaroon with coffee ice cream, coffee marble pound cake, some sort of pastry sandwich made with merengue (this was very light and I'm not sure what the flavor was ), a sweetened coffee and a jasmine tea. My favorites were the mocha and Oreo cake. They were both very light and not too sweet! The strawberry mouse cake (the small round one) was alright. Pretty but not much flavor. I wouldn't get it. The macarons had a nice flavor but were a little dry and crumbled all over the place, but the coffee ice cream was good. The marble pound cake was nice, not a lot of flavor here either, and again not too sweet. The jasmine tea was nice, but the coffee wasn't very good, and seemed kinda grainy. Although, my friend ordered the coffee super sweet and that's not my jam. Haha. I am a coffee lover, so I wouldn't be against trying it again, my way. The bathrooms were not kept up which definitely doesn't help the overall appeal. None of the flavors here are very strong, so it just depends on what you like. Whenever I or my family happen to be in Carrollton, we make a special stop at this bakery along with other shops in that shopping strip. While we appreciate some choice bakery goods, we do not appreciate snarky judgy whispered remarks and giggles at the register -- this is so high school. Please re-train those who are at the register to serve all customers in a mature, friendly manner. I can tolerate me being insulted but not my family members. I would have give 4 stars but it has a Pacific Ocean wide & deep room for improvement in the customer service department. Hence, 1 star. read more

I went to this place to bring back food souvenirs from my trip in Texas. My family loved everything! My favorites were the Raspberry Bulls Eye and strawberry croissant. Still tasted great after a 4 hour flight. I enjoyed shopping through their wide selection. The only thing that could be improved was their boba. Wasn't as bouncy and fresh tasting as I expected. Their Thai tea also tastes a lot sweeter than all others I've tasted, but still good. I can see myself coming here to hang out with friends for a quick boba stop or some baked goods. A nice bakery with mid quality food. The positives of Mozart bakery are that it has a really nice atmosphere and great presentation. All of the food looks spectacular and it reminds me of the bakeries I visited in Korea. The unfortunate part though is that none of the food I've had lived up to its looks. Many of the breads were too dry, the sweets overly sweet, or items simply lacking some flavor. The prices are definitely a little on the higher side as well but I assume that is due to the popularity of the place. I've been here about 6 times and never been super impressed. It isn't awful but I do feel there are better options around. read more

The place is much bigger than it looks. There are many seating areas. We order strawberry bingsoo and bought a cream bread/pastry. The pastry was really soft and delicious. I loved the fact it wasn't overly sweet. The bingsoo looked small for the price but it was plenty for 2 of us to share. The ice was so flaky and soft like snow. It was really good. Service is absolutely terrible. Every time I come here the person at the front working the cashier is very rude, and I don't remember the last time I was greeted with a smile here. They always look pissed. Today the cashier was even worse and was extremely disrespectful to my parents making an obvious irritated expression and saying "what? what? Such a cute bakery! My friends and I briefly stopped by to grab coffee and some treats. I was craving an almond croissant and luckily they had some! I also picked up the strawberry filled croissant as well. I enjoyed both, but almond was definitely way better. Fresh fruit just don't hold up well over time, so you've got to eat it as soon as you get it. The service was quick and it wasn't too busy on a Sunday morning. I popped in here while in the area with some friends. The inside is very big with tons of seating. It's a nice place with simple decor. We went in the evening, so the options were limited, but there was still plenty to choose from. I tried the tiramisu and Madeline cookies. I did not like either. When I tried the tiramisu there I did not even finish it. My friend ordered the red velvet and she also did not finish her dessert due to not liking it. I tried the Madeline cookies once I was home and I ended up not liking those either. The service was mid. My friends and I stood around for a few minutes just waiting for somebody to help us. After the employee helped one of us he would leave and we'd wait some more for him to come back and serve the next one of us. It was strange, and we just didn't understand why we had to wait when we were the only three at the counter, and he wasn't doing much else behind the counter. This cute little bakery sits in the heart of Koreatown plaza in Carrolton, TX. The place is very spacious and pretty. I got one of the cake slices and it was very light for $5. We also got Korean twisted donuts and they were tasty and not too sugary. They have these beautiful booths and they're so private. I just had to sit in them and it was so cozy. It was also really dark so I wasn't able to see where the plastic part for the cake to take off so it got messy but that was on me. Great staff and great products. read more

Go-to place to study/hang with friends when I'm in K-town. Busy on weekends so it might be hard to grab a table but pretty empty during the weekdays. Dark ambience in the private booths with big tables so keep that in mind if you like to study with bright lights. You can probably sit in the first half of the store near the windows. Always clean including the restrooms. Staff is friendly. The boba and the coffee are decent but the macarons are a must! I wanted to like this place because the iced house coffee is pretty good but it's not an ideal place to study. The music is extremely loud and the vents inside the study cubbies could use some cleaning. My eyes and nose were starting to itch after only sitting in there for 10 minutes. I've been in this plaza plenty of times, but somehow, forget there is this great bakery right here! Definitely has great selection of breads and cake slices for you to choose from. This place is more spacious than the other Mozart locations and a good thing because people were in and out of this place! Grabbed some individually wrapped roll cake and my daughter got a chocolate mousse mini cake, and picked up a mango mousse cake for my little daughter. Everything is beautifully crafted and individually boxed. If I was hanging around the area I would have grabbed a hot drink, as looks like they have a huge selection as well. Before COVID this was a part of me and my hubby's Friday night date night ritual. We'd stuff ourselves at some random restaurant in the plaza then (if that place happened to be Ddong Ggo) stumble drunk to Mozart to pick up rose milk tea and some pastries for the weekend. Their rose milk tea is my favorite, it's a super intense flavor that is tres addictive. As far as the pastries go, some are better than others but some are just amazing. In general my favorites are the white bean donuts, walnut tarts, the cream sabboros, the blueberry croissants, these little intense chocolate cookies, and these little pecan bites that I think they call alligator bites or something like that. But I would say from what I've tried has been about 90% hit, 10% miss which isn't bad at all. I've seen other reviews complaining about service, but I've never had anyone be rude to us there. But then again, I'm always polite to them so... They're usually missing and messing around in the front. They would rather talk to each other and mess around than to help you check out. They never really care to help you or say much to you. My family was ordering but they didn't think one of our family members were Korean and they were basically telling each other that there was too many people and how we needed to hurry up. Secondly, I came in with my family which had some kids. They brought their kids meal and a girl with short hair that usually works there went up to our family and said "THROW IT AWAY YOU CAN'T HAVE FOOD HERE. THROW IT OUT RIGHT NOW". I didn't realize that there was a sign in front PLUS they were children. I would have been happy to put it away for them and save it for later, but these are children that didn't even eat??? We all order their drinks and had a bunch of pastries. They haven't eaten the food yet. Third, there should be a huge sign that YOU CANNOT BRING OTHER FOODS IN ANOTHER BAKERY WHERE YOU SIT WITH YOUR FAMILY. YOU APPARENTLY HAVE TO THROW IT AWAY. We weren't even rude back. We just let them know we put up the food. They had someone else come back to tell us we cannot have food in a bakery. We understood them and put it up. Are we suppose to shove a kids meal in our purse? The Carrolton location is amazing! while visiting my brother of course I had to make a stop for Melon Pan. Sadly, they ran out, but I was able to put in an order. Their Sweets sellout pretty fast so make sure to call ahead especially if you are visiting. My son was excited to have milk tea so that was an added bonus! Melon Pan is the best! After we dropped our kids off nearby for some game time, we decided to take a walk around the plaza after noticing all of the different stores. We stumbled across Mozart and were so happy we did! The place was very clean and spacious. When you walk in, to the left you'll find the bakery section with a decent selection of Asian baked goods. We got the white and chestnut bean buns, mango fresh cream cake, Raison buns, and the fresh cream castella. Everything was fresh and flavorful. While there was a good variety of items, the two times we went (different times of day) we found that they sold out of a few staple items - so get here early if there's something particular that you want. We also got a couple of lattes which were not too sweet and nicely made. I tried the rose milk tea latte for the first time and loved the flavor. To the right of the entrance, is where the tables start, there's a lot of space in the main section, and further back, there are booths with three walls so it feels more intimate. The bathrooms were clean. The service was average - not rude but not friendly - very transactional. Presentation was very neat and professional. We noticed there were a few items marked with the Duluth, GA location so they likely have another presence there. read more

Came into Mozart Bakery to get some dessert before heading back to Dallas. Had the mini Green Tea red bean bread ($2.50) Rainbow cake ($4.99) The mini GT Red bean bread was kinda off. The bread was a bit dry and the flavors did not seem to blend together well. It came as a set of two for the bread so I got to share one with somebody and he agreed with me. The rainbow cake was actually not too bad. I actually don't know what I was expecting for the rainbow cake but I actually was surprised with what the turnout was for the rainbow cake. It actually tasted like a regular cake that one would get at an asian bakery and that all the artificial colouring all over would be, in hindsight, make it lose some of its..tastiness. The bakery is actually pretty spacious inside and has plenty of room where you can study or just talk with your friends about life, enjoy your desserts. They had a lot of desserts that you could just love... But I feel like the bread in itself was just ite.
