We love our local HTeao! Staff is consistently good, we go so often they know us....the pricing is fair and happy Hour makes frequent visits possible. Love the fact that you can try before you buy. You can make concoctions galore with all the options. I have been passing by HTeaO forever and I finally tried their tea few times this year HAHA. I've heard about HTeaO bc I remember seeing an ad on social media and I looked them up. I think it is an amazing concept especially when it is dedicated to tea, something that's not common though. Anyways, I am a tea fan over coffee. If you walk inside, you can even sample some of their tea options; so, if you are a first timer and overwhelmed by multiple options...you can try them! What's more fun is that you could even mix and match different flavors in different ratios - I'm scared do so HAHA. I've sampled few things, but my top 3 flavors were Georgia Peach, Texas Chai, and Mango Fresco! They do monthly flavors and March 2023 is COTTON CANDY (I think it was 1/2 Watermelon and 1/2 Coconut), I didn't try because I don't want to drink cotton candy lol. Now, the best parts are: 1. DRIVE THROUGH - if you are feeling lazy, injured, or prefer as your best alternative, go through their Drive Thru. Super quick! 2. 2-4pm HAPPY HOUR - everyday until they say otherwise, from 2pm-4pm, you only have to pay 1/2 of its original price!! This is about the product/packaging, not the location, as I've never been in a location (just bought in a grocery store). Those familiar with the product from the store know that it is 'sweet tea.' And BOY is it sweet!! Overwhelmingly so for my taste. But there's nothing on the packaging that marks this as 'sweet tea.' Also.... Not to sound judgmental, but know that the product is sweetened using Stevia. If you consume more sugar than recommended, sugar substitutes might be a good option to consider. But, in an age where we all should be avoiding sugar (including substitutes), caveat emptor. read more

This place is one of the smaller H-Tea Os I have been to, however they still have all the same selection you would have at any other location. My favorite is always their Peach Tea. I always come 2-4PM for their half price happy hour special. This place is self service for all teas and they also sell merchandise as well. I recommend utilizing their app to earn free drinks and to learn about seasonal specials. I always get served efficiently by friendly staff when visiting and this location is no difference. I have been a regular patron and must admit that their tea is very good. In fact, I had been buying a gallon size to take home every 4-5 days along with a large beverage a few times a week. That is, until I requested a sample via their drive-thru and was refused as they deemed it a health violation. They told me samples were only available inside. That was an annoying inconvenience. My research also indicates there is no such code violation associated with providing a sample via the drive-thru. I complained via their website. If a company can provide a drink in a cup at a drive-thru then they can also provide a sample in a cup at a drive-thru. Had they cooperated and I liked the sample flavor, I was going to purchase a large along with the gallon of my regular flavor I had just ordered. The tone-deaf response I received from one of their corporate "Marketing Specialists" only served to exacerbate my irritation. Her chipper, disingenuous, unsatisfying, untrue response is in the pics below, along with my response saying goodbye, HTeaO. She did manage to suggest I download their app to receive her offer of a free tea. I understand that some might think I am overreacting and being too picky, but I have reached the end of the line with poor customer service and companies that choose to stand behind their self-serving terms and policies rather than the consumers that support them. Their representative didn't even attempt to explain the policy, probably because the policy is more about coercing the customer inside to be up-sold. It has nothing to do with health, that is for certain. I was doing HTeaO a favor by visiting and supporting them with revenue. There are dozens of other providers who appreciate my business and who exercise better judgment in the policies they choose to institute and enforce. I will be supporting them rather than HTeaO. read more

Decided to drive through and the place was PACKED. The happy hour is a great deal and the place has gas station - sized drinks where you can mix and match flavors - I like how every flavor comes in an unsweet version so you can also modify the sweetness. The tea itself is pretty good. I got wild raspberry - tastes like flavored Lipton you could brew at home but what's amazing is the customer service and how friendly the staff is. I love that this place caters to tea lovers. However, The management recently changed hands and the customer service has become non existent. I have come to the Carrollton location less and less for this reason. Last night I went through the drive through to order as it was freezing outside. I Sat at the window after ordering for 3 minutes waiting on the 2 drink order. When the woman came to the window she said "What was your order?" I was given the incorrect order while it was the flavor I wanted, it wasn't sweetened as I requested. So, I had to get in back my car to come back and get what I ordered. And the further burn, was no compensation for their error. I asked to speak to the manger and he said he was the manager. I asked for some type of compensation and he said, protocol prevented any type of compensation, I said even Starbucks gave something in a sarcastic way he said they weren't Starbucks, my point exactly.
