We regretfully were so disappointing on our tradition stop whenever we travel through Roseburg. We were leaving an rv park so we put order in online and 2 of us got the red curry and it was super watery and not developed . We would've thought it was just made quickly . Our order was done super far which we didn't expect and would've gladly waited . Seemed pricey too for no meat and the. To add salmon it was 23$ for a lunch . My son ordered a vegetable and added shrimp and there were only about 3 shrimp . Super sweet too. We ordered a large take out order on a Saturday at lunchtime and were pleasantly surprised at how quickly our order was prepared. When I went to pick it up I could see they were quite busy with dine in orders as well. Our order was packaged well so we could transport it easily without spilling or dropping. This was my first time ordering from 7 Thai and I was not disappointed. I ordered a level 3 spice level and was happy they brought the heat! Stick with a two or less if you like medium spice level. I've heard that the Pacific Northwest has some of the best Thai food in the country, and that, basically, the further north you go, the better it gets. So far, so true. I just experienced some of the best panaeng curry of my life. I chose Roseburg because I read that it was the most dangerous city in Oregon, and you know who knows how to cook the best food? Dangerous people. Lol. The ambiance was that slightly dirty hole in the wall ambiance that lets you know you're about to have a truly unforgettable culinary experience. There were about seven different curries on the lunch menu, and a few more listed under specials. Panaeng is one of my favorite curries because of the flavor combination of coconut milk and kaffir lime leaves with the red curry. Kaffir might be one of my favorite flavors on the planet. So, I ordered the panaeng curry lunch special with chicken. It was only $11, and came with a small side of rice. Based on the portion size, compared to my favorite place back home, these prices are from about 20 years ago. I honestly wondered how they can afford to make such bomb food for so cheap. Every single ingredient tasted as fresh and premium as possible. I started off by eating the curry like it was soup-- curry noodle soup happens to be another one of my favorite dishes, and this curry was good enough to pass for soup on its own. Eventually, little by little, I added the rice. It was so good, I ate more than I meant to. I ate until I realized that I ate a little bit too much and was a little too full, which is a rare thing for me to do (because of my health issues). It was so bomb it was hard to stop eating. The prices and the flavor were both unbelievable. Would one thousand per cent eat here again. read more

So happy to have found such a terrific Thai restaurant. I passed the sign for 7 Seven Thai but never saw where it was as I went in to the shopping center for Ross and Michaels. So glad I did this time! We were met at the door and chose our own seat. They have a mixed menu with those well-known Thai entrees as well as many others. 75 appetizers, soups, salads and entrees in all. Plus, they have a good assortment of beverages including beers. The menu items 22 through 52 can come in vegetarian, tofu, chicken, beef, pork or seafood. Ordered Crab Puffs which had real crab in them. These were delicious and had enough crab to give them a great bite and flavor. Also, had my go-to Yellow Curry with chicken (level 3 which was plenty spicy ) and a Pepper Beef. I love curries and this was amazing. It had tender chicken, melt in your mouth potatoes, and delicious carrots and bell peppers. The sauce was exquisite. The Pepper Beef (level 1) was delicious also. Great sauce covering strips of beef, onion and bell peppers. Service was excellent. The gentleman who took care of us was nice and so helpful in deciding the heat level. Ambiance isn't anything special but the overall feeling was welcoming and comfortable. I definitely recommend and will be back often! read more

Small but cozy little restaurant right off the hwy. we ordered salmon pumpkin curry and crispy chicken fried rice. The curry came with regular rice but they substituted for sticky rice for me. They served water. We had to ask for extra napkins and side plates. They did not give us a spoon for the fried rice. It'd be nice if they were more vigilant in what people order and give utensils accordingly. (The forks were pre-set.) Fried Rice was good. The curry was phenomenal with the perfect spice. (I asked for medium.) salmon was too oily for me since it was deep fried. I enjoyed the veggies in the curry though. Nicely blanched and still held a slight crunch. read more

1st visit, glad to add the 5th star upon follow up visit. Love me some hole in the wall authentic eats. This spot is just off I-5, super easy to get to. Late night rolling into Roseburg, work trip and hotel stay. Got here 20 mins before they were closing but they were super kind and let me know "to go only". Chicken satay, Pad Kee Mao with beef and a side of prik nam pla and I was all set to head to the room. Satay came with 4 small, thin pieces for $7 and the entree was $15 for a filled box of drunken noodles with plenty of beef and fresh veggies. Glad to have stumbled on this spot! read more

7 Thai has a great selection of Thai food with a clear, description of each dish. Their rotating digital sign is also helpful for selecting a dish you may not have tried before. We've enjoyed everything we've ordered. I also appreciate that you can choose the spice level or add additional spice from the hot sauces brought to the table. With that being said, it would be awesome if they cleaned the spice caddy as well as the on table beverage & daily special placards. They are terribly dirty & gummed up. Even the walls behind the tables are food spattered . This isn't a great 1st impression to the public. I know a few ppl who have chosen not to eat at 7 Thai because of their cleanliness concerns. I'm from the SF Bay Area & he was from LA and we were very excited that we found some delish authentic tasting Thai in Roseburg bc we had to go to Eugene to enjoy it. Across the board, all the dishes offered here are all good ... I have yet to find a dish I don't like. The portion size, as well as the prices are reasonable. The staff are all very nice. The restaurant itself is more utilitarian, also not huge, which is not generally a problem since most of their business seems to be take-out. With all that being said, 7 Thai has probably the best Asian food available in Roseburg. read more

The food was ok and the service people very nice. I did have an unfortunate incident with a fly in my beverage and when they brought a new one it also had a fly in it. So that will change the direction of a meal very quick. It's really important that when you serve a customer you do so with integrity of the establishment. I cancelled the drink order and they did not charge me for the drink however it impacted the tables overall feeling about their food and that really is what affected my overall rating. I am new to Roseburg, and I decided to try out this place. The staff are friendly, and the food is really really good!! I ordered the pad see ew, which is a thick cut noodle, as well as a pineapple chicken fried rice. The Pad see ew is so flavorful, and the noodle is so soft! It was soooo good! The pineapple fried rice also has a rich flavor. Later that week, I ordered the crispy chicken basil, and the chicken was crispy with a great aroma of basil. Seven Thai is worth checking out. They have daily specials M-F that are around $8. They get busy but usually can fill your order within 20-35 min. They are courteous and follow mask guidelines during the pandemic. I've tried their pad Thai, drunken noodles, pad prik king, and their pad see ew. When ordering, you can tell them your spice (hot) preferences 1-5 with 5 being the hottest. You can also order extra protein. For me, I usually order a 2-3 and I can eat the hottest of hot wings. I was very disappointed with the service. I ordered the Salmon Spicy Green beans (like I always do) and was brought Spicy Salmon with vegetables. I see how that can get mixed up, but I sent it back, and the server brought back a dish with green beans, but the Salmon must have been taken from the first dish. I asked why it wasn't crispy Salmon, and she said that they don't serve it crispy, but it is on the menu. I have had it before and left hungry and disappointed.
