I've been to Thai Food House a number of times since they opened and have had a number of their dishes-all of them good. I've been there for lunch, dinner and did take out. All good experiences. The owners are extremely nice and have experience to make this a great restaurant. This is a wonderful addition to the small town of Winston. It's on the main road coming in next to the post office. It's a small restaurant with maybe 7-8 tables-one being a large table in the center of the room for a group.. The menu has all your typical Thai dishes plus items like chicken or salmon teriyaki that is something that many would love. Their chicken teriyaki and the salmon teriyaki are some of the best in town. They actually grill it giving delicious char marks making this worlds better than the places I've had it in Roseburg. It comes with a good portion of rice and steamed veggies that are tasty!! These are repeats. My favorites are the chicken yellow curry, pad Thai and especially the Tom Kha soup. They go by mild, medium and hot and medium is perfect for me. I've had leftovers at every meal I've had so the portion sizes are good and the price is extremely fair. I definitely recommend and will be back to try more of the menu. Though, that's hard because I already have favorites!! read more

This is a small five table restaurant in Winston, Oregon. The restaurant is run by a very sweet family. The daughter and son-in-law worked the front of the house and mom is in the kitchen. I'm not in on the right day, their little baby is there running around. So sweet! The food is really good and everything we have ever had. There has been very tasty. Now I have to say one thing. They have a dipping sauce, which is soy sauce based that is so good that I ended up drinking the sauce and having to order more for dipping. So when you're in Winston, stop by and have a tasty meal. We had Salad Roll appetizer, Pad Prik Talay (seafood combination with shrimp, scallops & green mussels), and Thai Noodle (beef). A Thai iced coffee doubled as both a beverage and dessert! Food was great, staff very friendly and helpful, service a little slow, decor/ambiance and cleanliness could be a tad better. Program Thai music (not rock n roll) for atmosphere.
