It has become such a safe space for me that I'll show up alone sometimes (as a single, sober, semi-shy, female, that should say a lot). I don't drink and I've honestly never watched Star Wars but you'll find me frequenting this bar like it's nobody's business. The bartenders, staff, and owners are super friendly and kind, their Instagram is always up to date, and their bar is filled with amazing food and drinks (they even have a great non-alcoholic selection). Their schedule is packed with super popular events such as: - Karaoke on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays - Board Game Night on Tuesdays - Comedy Shows on Thursdays - Crafts on Wednesdays - Trivia on Mondays All of these events have the place packed with fellow nerds and friendly folk that will have no issue including you in anything they're doing. went back to 7 stars... 1st drop the grill part its just not a thing. The menu is still very limited but what they do serve is pretty good. I still stand strong that this isn't so much a Star Wars theme as much as pop culture. It's like a mini SD Comic-Con. Lots of pop culture as its theme. def heavy on Star Wars action figures and decorations though. Love the game room vibe too. As for the music. It's not any better and may have gotten worse. I think maybe instead of music they should just choose one of the many movies playing on the screens and pump that volume in. Oh they have Karaoke now too. The new owners have transformed the bar! The look and feel are a huge improvement over the last one. I wish the staff didn't leave the bar front doors open since they do not enforce the ban on smoking by the entrance. Why have a rule if ur not gonna do anything when people smoke outside the door and smoke comes in? I also saw customers vaping inside. My friend has asthma and we had to leave early since the bartender wouldn't do anything. Given this establishment is advertised as a "nerd" bar, I'm hoping they can do a better job in the future given it's not legal to vape indoors or to smoke within twenty feet of a bar entrance. read more

Honestly the bar is hella cool I've been here a few times. The owner is dope. There is this female bartender that works most nights that makes the place unbearable. I came in regularly and seen her raise prices above the menu price to secure a tip as well as favor customers regularly. When the bar is not even busy she will take forever to serve you even when there are no customers. It brings the whole experience down for a local stop I would love to regular especially being a huge Star Wars fan. I do not want to pick which night of the week to come based on when the owner is working and the staff is behaving. This bar is cool, especially if you are a Star Wars/Sci Fi fan! There are tons of throw back toys and tvs playing star wars movies. The service was a bit slow at the bar, but we did go during Oktoberfest. They have a large selection of tap beers and bottles. They also do bottomless mimosas from 11-3pm at $20 pp it is a pretty good deal. We were told to try out the pretzel. It was hands down, one of the best pretzels we ever had. We appreciated how hot and fresh the pretzel came out. The cheese and mustard were a good pair for dipping. We will definitely be back to try some additional menu options. read more

The gourmet AB&J First off, I love downtown Campbell, it's got so many yummy and chic places to eat, drink, and shop in. Now it's even better with seven stars nestled at the end ofCampbell Ave. The energy and vibes were all positive as large crowds of young adults gathered to sing their hearts out to their fav karaoke songs. There even happened to be a large group celebrating a milestone birthday in the back. Patrons arrived wearing anything from jeans and summer dresses, to full stars wars cosplay. This bar and lounge is easy to miss cuz there's no signage outside the building. It shares an entrance with Retro Fix II Turbo gamer venue/shop which is upstairs. Once you see Yoda, you'll know you've found your way. I liked the previous place a little more, it had a quirkier vibe and layout, even if a bit cramped. But this new location in Campbell is cool too, the Star Wars theme still alive and strong, as well as plenty of flat screen TVs throughout. For drinks, I got the crait, and it was salty, I'm talking inside the glass, not just on the rim. But it was drinkable. I also had the lightsaber which was served to me as a small cocktail (the same size and similar price as the crait). I liked this drink a lot more flavorwise, since I'm a fan of grape. Neither of the drinks were strong in alcohol. They do karaoke on Saturday nights, and it was fun to watch while making friends in the crowd (just a small crowd early in the evening the weekend before Christmas). Karaoke typically starts at 8:00pm, but the first singer came on around 8:45pm. I was entertained by a range of awesome tunes like Fun's We Are Young, It Was All A Dream by Biggie, some Beastie Boys, Billy Joel, and more. Songs available through karafun karaoke, just sign up with the KJ in the back end of the room where most of the bigger Star Wars props are set up. Both the crowd and staff were friendly here during my recent visit. And there's lots of seating options, including bar seats, sofas, and round counter height tables. This place has awesome vibes and great events! I love how welcoming they are and it really feels like a true community space. It's really becoming a local hangout. 5 stars for ambiance and fun. Food options are pretty good for a bar and they even offer gluten free bread (this should be on the menu). However, it does take forever to come out which is kind of a drag. Maybe they should focus a little bit more on the food options to make it more of a bar and grill. The drink specials are fun but their regular cocktails aren't very good. They are very imbalanced and served in awkward glasses. That's the only reason i took off a Star! I also got soda in a plastic cup last time? It was weird. The bathrooms are both labeled unisex, despite having multiple stalls in each. While I was using one of these bathrooms, a stumbling drunk guy forced open my stall door (lock was loose and faulty) and just stared at me while I tried to hide myself and pull up my pants. Came at 8pm with some friends, it was fairly packed on a Friday night. Unfortunately I'm giving such a low review due to drink quality/price, but mainly because of the "DJ" who was in control of the karaoke list Friday night. But the main problem that ruined the night for me was the DJ, I had put 2 songs on the list since I saw how quickly it was getting full. I went 2 hours without getting called up to sing, other people at my table were also having the same problem. They went up to ask the DJ what the problem was, turns out he doesn't follow the order of the list, he just hops around wherever he pleases. I think this is absolutely idiotic, it makes no sense to do it that way, and it leaves people like me and my friends there for hours watching other people go ahead of us when they signed up after us. There were at least 3-4 people who had gone up to sing, but it was their 3rd time singing since I had gotten there. It just didn't make sense, so at some point my friend goes up and requests to be next because it had been over an hour and he was already skipped multiple times, I had hopes that I would finally be able to sing because my name was 2 songs after my friend. But 4-5 songs go by and I'm still not called to sing. Everyone at my table (even those who showed up AFTER me) got to sing their song, I got pissed and left for the night, absolutely awful experience. I hope it's just the DJ who has awful experience, hopefully it's not like that every night. Was extremely disappointed by the margarita I ordered, not only was it $25 but it was hard to drink. I'm not sure if it was an accident but they poured salt directly into the drink, my first sip (through a straw) was pure salt with some alcohol and it was an awful combination. I didn't want to finish the drink, but since it was $25 for a tiny drink I felt the need to finish it. Instead of a cocktail I decided to get straight shots of Don Julio, I ordered 2 shots for $28. When he gave me the shots it didn't seem like 2 shots so I asked him and he said that it's not full tall shots, full tall shots would cost me more around $30s which I don't completely understand so I just said ok and paid. read more

The bf and I went late on a Saturday and they were so great, getting us food and drinks even past 12. Service was great as the owner even brought us another banh mi when they brought us the wrong one without any fuss. The ambiance was chill but karaoke was a bit distracting/low and made it hard to talk (yes I'm a millennial ), but the space is big enough where it wasn't impossible to keep a convo going. We brought some friends to have drinks and sing karaoke one night at Seven Stars Bar. Melissa, the bartender spreads gossip that we didn't tip well, that night. How unprofessional to say things like that to my co-worker, who knew her personally. He couldn't wait to embarrass me in front of my colleagues at a work event, with that bit of news. All I know is that we spent close to $200 on drinks that night and we invited a nice couple with us. They were overpriced drinks but we tipped what we thought was fair. When we confronted Melissa about her gossip recently, she had serious attitude but she admitted that she spread this gossip. She did not deny the accusation and acted brazen about it. We did escalate this to the owners and they were sorry. We will never return to this establishment ever again. I love this bar! I've been coming to this bar since they've opened and it has always been a safe haven of mine and easy to call home. This place isn't crawling with creeps or hood rats and there is always something entertaining going on; karaoke, trivia, movies, or just great conversations with the bartenders or owners! The food is great as well and they're always more than accommodating with the TVs or will even set up a drink menu for parties you'd like to host here. I actually came by for a Warriors game, and found it was the perfect place as it wasn't crowded at all. Happy hour ends at 6pm, and well drinks are $4! Needless to say, I took advantage of that deal. But well drinks are regularly $5 anyway, so no big deal if you can't make it in time. The bartenders were very friendly and agreed to put the game on. We probably weren't their usual crowd. We also got a snack sampler with fries, sweet potato fries, tater tots, and onion rings for $10! Perfect for sharing. There are 2 pool tables, 1 darts machine, and they have equipment for beer pong!
