    Cool stuff

7 Stars Bar & Grill is a helluv cool Star Wars themed bar and restaurant. I haven't been to something quite like it and it's fun. Well drinks and beers are all good. Star Wars and other shows constantly playing on tv's throughout the place is fun. Themed nostalgia all over the place. Bartender served us quick and friendly. Not crowded, at least not when we went on a Thursday happy hour. Check out the stuff they have in the pics. Just so sweet.

This bar is cool, especially if you are a Star Wars/Sci Fi fan! There are tons of throw back toys and tvs playing star wars movies. The service was a bit slow at the bar, but we did go during Oktoberfest. They have a large selection of tap beers and bottles. They also do bottomless mimosas from 11-3pm at $20 pp it is a pretty good deal. We were told to try out the pretzel. It was hands down, one of the best pretzels we ever had. We appreciated how hot and fresh the pretzel came out. The cheese and mustard were a good pair for dipping. We will definitely be back to try some additional menu options.

Recommending tipping on the total, including the CC fee and taxes is shady.

Cool concept and prices for drinks are reasonable - however, I'm not a fan of the CC fee - just raise your prices. Also, calculating tip on the total, including the CC fee and taxes is shady - I do math.

Here to comment on two things: 1. The amazing inclusive and safe space that this little business has created for all 2. The gourmet AB&J First off, I love downtown Campbell, it's got so many yummy and chic places to eat, drink, and shop in. Now it's even better with seven stars nestled at the end ofCampbell Ave. The energy and vibes were all positive as large crowds of young adults gathered to sing their hearts out to their fav karaoke songs. There even happened to be a large group celebrating a milestone birthday in the back. Patrons arrived wearing anything from jeans and summer dresses, to full stars wars cosplay. Such a fun place to spend the time away. Ok, to my absolute favorite part our visit: the gourmet Salted Caramel Almond Butter and Apricot Preserve toasted sandwich! The owners source all locally produced ingredients by scouring all the neighborhood farmers markets. This means the ingredients may change/rotate occasionally, so stop by NOW to try this delicious bite!

We out with friends for the night. This is the place to go to if you are a Star Wars/Sci fan. They have different movies/shows playing on screen. Services wasn't bad! They have different activities too including karaoke and a game area.

This bar and lounge is easy to miss cuz there's no signage outside the building. It shares an entrance with Retro Fix II Turbo gamer venue/shop which is upstairs. Once you see Yoda, you'll know you've found your way. I liked the previous place a little more, it had a quirkier vibe and layout, even if a bit cramped. But this new location in Campbell is cool too, the Star Wars theme still alive and strong, as well as plenty of flat screen TVs throughout. For drinks, I got the crait, and it was salty, I'm talking inside the glass, not just on the rim. But it was drinkable. I also had the lightsaber which was served to me as a small cocktail (the same size and similar price as the crait). I liked this drink a lot more flavorwise, since I'm a fan of grape. Neither of the drinks were strong in alcohol. They do karaoke on Saturday nights, and it was fun to watch while making friends in the crowd (just a small crowd early in the evening the weekend before Christmas). Karaoke typically starts at 8:00pm, but the first singer came on around 8:45pm. I was entertained by a range of awesome tunes like Fun's We Are Young, It Was All A Dream by Biggie, some Beastie Boys, Billy Joel, and more. Songs available through karafun karaoke, just sign up with the KJ in the back end of the room where most of the bigger Star Wars props are set up. Both the crowd and staff were friendly here during my recent visit. And there's lots of seating options, including bar seats, sofas, and round counter height tables. Great spot, even if you're not a Star Wars fan.

New location for 7 stars! It's bigger on the inside. Great new space and a couple of new star wars memorabilia. Karaoke is quite popular here.

Came at 8pm with some friends, it was fairly packed on a Friday night. Unfortunately I'm giving such a low review due to drink quality/price, but mainly because of the "DJ" who was in control of the karaoke list Friday night. But the main problem that ruined the night for me was the DJ, I had put 2 songs on the list since I saw how quickly it was getting full. I went 2 hours without getting called up to sing, other people at my table were also having the same problem. They went up to ask the DJ what the problem was, turns out he doesn't follow the order of the list, he just hops around wherever he pleases. I think this is absolutely idiotic, it makes no sense to do it that way, and it leaves people like me and my friends there for hours watching other people go ahead of us when they signed up after us. There were at least 3-4 people who had gone up to sing, but it was their 3rd time singing since I had gotten there. It just didn't make sense, so at some point my friend goes up and requests to be next because it had been over an hour and he was already skipped multiple times, I had hopes that I would finally be able to sing because my name was 2 songs after my friend. But 4-5 songs go by and I'm still not called to sing. Everyone at my table (even those who showed up AFTER me) got to sing their song, I got pissed and left for the night, absolutely awful experience. I hope it's just the DJ who has awful experience, hopefully it's not like that every night. Was extremely disappointed by the margarita I ordered, not only was it $25 but it was hard to drink. I'm not sure if it was an accident but they poured salt directly into the drink, my first sip (through a straw) was pure salt with some alcohol and it was an awful combination. I didn't want to finish the drink, but since it was $25 for a tiny drink I felt the need to finish it. Instead of a cocktail I decided to get straight shots of Don Julio, I ordered 2 shots for $28. When he gave me the shots it didn't seem like 2 shots so I asked him and he said that it's not full tall shots, full tall shots would cost me more around $30s which I don't completely understand so I just said ok and paid.

The bf and I went late on a Saturday and they were so great, getting us food and drinks even past 12. Service was great as the owner even brought us another banh mi when they brought us the wrong one without any fuss. The ambiance was chill but karaoke was a bit distracting/low and made it hard to talk (yes I'm a millennial ), but the space is big enough where it wasn't impossible to keep a convo going. It's a nice addition to the neighborhood and I am glad they are back after their hiatus with the Bascom location closure. And of course there's cool SW memorabilia for all to browse :)

I'm so happy one of my "local" bars is finally reopening, at this new location. Preview night is tonight, and I'm heading over there now. Will update this shortly with pics!

We came for a casual weekday lunch to celebrate our 22nd anniversary after spending the whole morning at a day spa. We sat outside and enjoyed a little bit of everything. The blackened hamachi tataki was refreshing and perfect for a summer lunch. Their take on steak and eggs, deviled eggs topped with Wagyu, is so simple but packs a punch. The Korean fried chicken was crunchy with a tangy sauce and great for sharing. And of course, we had to get the BBB, which is always a must for us! After all that, we shared the cheesesteak sandwich and I honestly thought I was going to tap out, but it wasn't heavy at all. It was so good that we finished the whole thing. Somehow, we even had room for Beth's hand pie, a delicious peach compote that tasted like a churro and peach pie had a baby. The cocktails were also a highlight. I had the Coco Julius, which is dangerously good because it's so smooth, fruity, and refreshing with orange and pineapple. Hubby had the La Ola with strawberries and hibiscus. Another great meal at OCK!

We were seated quickly which was nice, but overall the experience was diminished by the stressed out bartender. Definitely needs to take a deep breath and lock in or find another line of work. His choice of body language when interacting with his own coworkers when trying to communicate was disrespectful in and of itself, rolling his eyes and giving passive aggressive remarks, almost resemblant of teenage angst which you wouldn't expect coming from a grown man. At some point when receiving a ticket he dramatically threw it on the counter to help everyone at the bar side know how frustrated or overwhelmed he was. Seeing this as a customer discourages me to make requests, as it almost feels like our presence is an inconvenience to our bartender/server. The customer service experience here was terrible and my biggest recommendation to this establishment is to hire people who are willing to provide a comfortable experience to customers, as opposed to individuals who will throw man-fits for working at 11 AM.

After our first visit last night, I think it's safe to say it is probably the best Happy Hour offering in the SF South Bay. Good quality, good value, great service and nice club/lounge ambiance. Here's what we shared food-wise... * HH Garlic Noodles -- This didn't quite meet my expectation. Described as a "perfectly cooked pasta tossed in rich garlic butter", what we got was more like a soft udon type noodle with a rather starchy garlic sauce. The taste was definitely very garlicky, but the dish could have been much better with an al dente pasta tossed in an actual garlic butter or olive oil. * HH Wagyu Smash Burger -- This was yum! Great flavor, nicely grilled served on a toasted soft brioche bun. ($15 on HH versus $32 witha side of fries on the Dinner Menu :o) * HH Hamachi Crudo -- This was superb! Fresh generous slices of yellowtail topped with sliced lemon, jalapeno, tobiko and microgreens, perfectly matched with Ponzu sauce. ($12 on HH for 4 pieces versus $23 for 5 pieces on the Dinner menu) * HH Crab Cakes -- 2 medium sized blue crab cakes with diced mango and spicy aioli. Pretty decent for $14. * HH Crispy Brussels Sprouts -- Good standard fare. For drinks, we enjoyed... * HH Weather Pinot Noir -- Our server, Mikayla, said it was her favorite wine on the HH menu. It was very nice. * HH Mango Deck -- Reposado, Jalapeno syrup, lime and mango puree with a 151 rum flambee. Great drink if you like sweet, sour and spicy... and it comes with a show as the 151 rum is lit. Will definitely return. Would love to try the HH Grand Seafood Tower with oysters, yellowtail and salmon sashimi, shrimp and lobster ($65 on HH) which we saw another table order. Looks like a great place for a larger party celebration too.

For our event, we had a pretty big spread: fruit platter, chicken wings, hummus platter with chickpea salad, marinated heirloom tomatoes, flatbreads and cucumber, pretzels with house honey mustard and beer cheese, tower fries, marinated steak, garlic noodles, mac and cheese buns, Asian chicken salad, garlic flank steak, and oven paprika chicken. The open bar was only $14 per person and included a selection of soda, juice, draft beer, wine, and sparkling wine. Pretty reasonable for a private event!

Server told me our table was outside and did not bother to walk me out there. I asked her which…read moretable and she said the big one outside. Okay.. I walk out there and there was a random person sitting at our table. I asked her if this was our table. She proceeded to ask if it's for the graduation. And I said no? She looked confused and so did I. The server should have walked me out to our table like any other server would do. Besides all the other little things that were annoying... what got me the most is that I asked for one extra taco so I can share. I didn't mind paying for the extra taco but when the bill came they charged me DOUBLE THE PRICE for one taco plate. If I had known we would've just gotten two taco plates for the amount and price of two. 32$ for 4 tacos is diabolical. I would have really appreciated if the server disclosed that to me before. The taco shells were DRY, STALE, COLD, AND HARD when served. I ended up removing the second taco shell because of how awful they were. They're also flavorless including the salsa, as someone else mentioned in the reviews. Parking also sucks as well. I didn't think it was worth the headache at all. I definitely won't come back.
