A couple of months ago I gave this business 3 stars so I had to update my review and give them the flowers they deserve!!! I'm still not a fan of the ramen but the chicken sandwiches and bento boxes are bomb!!! I literally go twice per week and I am never disappointed. Also the rice cakes are so delicious!!

Original fried chicken! Comes with citrus sauce. Delish

Came here for a 1 on 1 date with my S.O. According to the waiter, their menu changes everyday. It's a nice little place with shared plates. For 2 of us, we ordered like 4 plates to share, which was a decent amount of food for me to be satisfied but not too full. Original fried chicken- yummm. I absolutely love fried chicken and this does not disappoint. Crispy outside, moist inside. It's flavorful. It also comes with a side of citrus dipping sauce and that complimented the chicken very well. Chicken gizzards- i also love gizzards. I love the crunchy texture and this place makes it pretty well. I really enjoyed dipping it in the citrus sauce (part of fried chicken order). I don't know if they will give u the citrus sauce if u just ordered the gizzards. Keep in mind, my plate of gizzards wasn't 100% gizzard. They mixed it with chicken heart and some other unrecognizable parts as well. Tuna tartar- this had an interesting flavor which I can't say I loved, but it was decent. It's basically a paste, or pate, and u put it on a toast and eat it. Can taste the hint of Wasabi, the raw eggs. Texture had some getting used to. Chicken liver in butter- this was a mixed bag for me. I can't deny, the butter garlic parsley sauce was delicious. Everything I love. The liver itself takes Alot of getting used to. For those of u who have not tried liver before, it is VERY gamey, and has a very strong distinct after taste. I hated it when I was a kid....thought I got used to it as an adult already but apparently not. My first piece was not too bad. I actually kinda enjoyed it. But I think I ate my second piece too fast. The overwhelming after taste made me want to throw up. Luckily I didn't. I rested my stomach a couple minutes and drank some soju to mask the after taste. I was able to eat 1 more small piece afterwards but my fiance had to finish everything lol. Overall, this is a nice little place with some interesting dishes. I would come back again if I was around the area.

750 Myrtle Diner is truly unique. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but you walk in and the decor is amazing, the kitchen basically takes up half the restaurant up against the wall, leaving only room for a handful of tables. Oh, it's most definitely not a diner, so don't get confused by the name. It's a Japanese bistro, with some other Asian influences. The chicken karaage was basically perfect. Giant chunks of perfectly fried chicken. The lettuce wrap with crab was weird. I expected a... lettuce wrap, but it was more akin to a sushi roll with lettuce inside. It was good though, and the portion size was nuts. For our mains, we got the duck soba and the duck with mushrooms and lotus root. The duck dish was really good. Lots of flavors intermingling together. They also have a bunch of Japanese beers and sake on their menu, including sparkling sake! Definitely recommend stopping by.

My first visit was for my business with them. We, 4 men had tasted almost all menus, and were awestruck. It was a month ago. Now I came back with my wife, who is very picky for any type of cuisine. I and she experienced the excellent food. Eating one and expecting another was pure joy. My favorite was Vegetable Agedashi. It produces so called 'Umami' in its genuine way. You must try Karaage(Japanese style fried chicken) too. My Japanese colleagues found it superb even by their higher standards. Go check this hidden pearl. It deserves more delightful eaters.

This place is adding so much value to this neighborhood. We are so glad that it's here in Bedstuy right on Myrtle! It's a cool small Japanese shop/ restaurant. You can find sake, wine, snacks and food here. We ordered for pick up fried chicken karage and a side of curry and potato salad. So good! Excited to try more things off the menu.

Chicken Nanban Karaage Bento. It was suuuuuuuuper delicious. This photo doesn't do it justice how out of the world it was.

Hands down the BEST Japanese fried chicken you can find! My absolute favorites are karaage, the Japanese fried chicken, potato salad, pickled veggies, ramen kit to go, and frozen marinated fish all house made by the super talented chef. All the lunchboxes here are freshly made per order. People here are very nice too. Seriously, I cannot say enough great things about them. Stock up your groceries here and don't forget to check out their sake bottles, meticulously selected by the sake sommelier. Not only takeout, they offer delivery too. Enjoy!

If you're looking for something different, then this is the place for you. They serve up some of the most innovative and unique Japanese food without any pretentiousness or cliched liquid nitrogen, foams, etc. Example: pork belly, usually delicious but fatty and greasy, is served sliced thin in a light broth with veggies--such a clean, fresh taste. Silky soft tofu with snow crab is another winner, as is duck with lotus root. These and other options are truly unique and things you can't make at home. At the same time, you can also get delicious fried chicken. Service could have been a touch better the last time we were there (they didn't clear our plates when dessert was served) but they were jammed so I'm not dinging them for it. Craft beers are great if they have them. Mixed drinks are so-so.

But this place completely knocked it out of the park. It far exceeded everything we anticipated. We were seated in a private booth, which made the experience feel even more authentic and intimate. Every dish that came out was absolutely delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully presented. They even provided a bell to press for service, and each time, the server appeared almost instantly with a warm smile. It's clear the owner and management truly know how to create and run a successful business--from the attention to detail to the seamless service and overall experience. We walked into a space that immediately stood out with its detailed decor, private dining booths, central bar, and playful Japanese-inspired design. The room had an energetic, immersive vibe that felt less like a traditional neighborhood izakaya and more like a night-out experience with elements inspired by Tokyo nightlife, the kind of place where the setting is as much a part of the visit as the food. The menu has a wide variety of dishes, but the yakitori and comfort food options are some of the highlights. We ordered a few items and found the yakitori selection offering plenty of choices and working well for sharing, with grilled skewers that paired naturally with drinks. The ramen, fried dishes, and other small plates made the menu feel approachable for groups where everyone wanted to try different things. The curry omurice was another standout, combining the comforting flavors of Japanese curry with the soft omelet and rice combination that makes the dish so satisfying. Each dish arrived hot and well assembled, and the variety across the menu gave us room to explore different flavors across the table. The atmosphere is one of the biggest reasons to visit. The restaurant has a fun, energetic vibe with city pop music, themed rooms, and decorative details that make the space feel like an escape from the surrounding area. The private booths and larger seating areas also make it a good option for groups, celebrations, or a more casual date night. We appreciated that the restaurant focused on creating a memorable environment in addition to serving food. The service was friendly and attentive during our visit. The staff were helpful with recommendations, and the food came out at a comfortable pace. The restaurant also has a strong drink program, with cocktails and sake options that pair well with the menu, and happy hour offerings make it a good place for a later evening visit as well. The main thing to keep in mind is that the restaurant prioritizes atmosphere and variety over being a strictly traditional izakaya experience. The menu covers many different types of Japanese dishes, so it may not feel as specialized as a smaller izakaya focused only on a few traditional items. It can also get busy during peak hours, so reservations are helpful for larger groups. The team moved through the room with efficiency, and the pacing of the meal kept the flow steady without feeling rushed. Overall, Izakaya Nana is a fun destination for Japanese food, drinks, and a lively atmosphere in Flushing. The combination of creative decor, comfortable group seating, and a broad menu makes it a place worth returning to when looking for a more entertaining dining experience rather than just a quick meal. The curry omurice, yakitori, and shareable dishes are some of the items we would especially come back for.

Even before the food arrives, the restaurant leaves a strong impression with its stunning Japanese-inspired interior. The space is beautifully designed, blending warmth and elegance in a way that feels both inviting and refined. From the soft lighting to the natural wood accents and thoughtfully arranged decor, everything about the atmosphere feels intentional. It captures the intimate charm of a traditional izakaya while still feeling modern and stylish, making it a wonderful setting for anything from a casual dinner to a more special night out. The food more than lived up to the beauty of the space. One of the first highlights was the salmon onigiri, a dish that proved how satisfying simplicity can be when it is done well. The rice was soft, fresh, and perfectly formed, holding together without feeling too compact, while the salmon added a savory richness that made each bite feel comforting and flavorful. It was balanced, delicate, and deeply satisfying in a way that made it memorable despite its simplicity. The seared salmon salad was another standout. The salmon itself was beautifully prepared, with a lightly seared exterior that gave it a subtle crispness, while the inside remained tender, buttery, and smooth. That contrast in texture made the dish especially enjoyable. Paired with the freshness of the salad, it felt light and refreshing, yet still substantial enough to feel like more than just a side dish. It was a dish that managed to feel both clean and indulgent at the same time. The grilled squid was particularly impressive and easily one of the most memorable items of the meal. Squid can often be difficult to get right, as it can become rubbery or overly chewy if even slightly overcooked, but that was absolutely not the case here. The texture was spectacular--tender, delicate, and pleasantly springy without any toughness. Each bite had a light smokiness from the grill that added depth, while the squid itself retained its natural sweetness. It was expertly prepared and showcased a level of precision that really stood out. For the main courses, both the Tonkatsu Ramen and the Black Pepper Ramen delivered distinct experiences, each with its own appeal. The Tonkatsu Ramen was deeply comforting and satisfying, with a broth that had a rich, velvety texture and a full-bodied depth that coated the palate beautifully. It felt smooth, hearty, and luxurious without being too heavy. The noodles had an ideal texture as well--firm enough to provide a satisfying bite, yet soft enough to soak up the broth and integrate perfectly into the dish. Altogether, it was a bowl that felt warming, balanced, and incredibly comforting. The Black Pepper Ramen, on the other hand, brought a bolder and more assertive flavor profile. The broth had a smooth, glossy texture, and the noodles again had a pleasing chew that gave the dish structure and substance. The black pepper added an unmistakable warmth and aromatic intensity that made the ramen stand out immediately. It was flavorful and memorable, though the pepper was slightly overwhelming at times. A bit less black pepper would have allowed the other flavors in the broth to come through more clearly and created a more balanced bowl. Even so, the ramen was still enjoyable, especially for those who appreciate strong, pepper-forward flavors. Overall, Izakaya Fuku is a restaurant that succeeds on every level. The stunning Japanese interior creates an atmosphere that feels both immersive and elegant, while the food reflects a real attention to detail in both flavor and texture. From the comforting salmon onigiri, to the fresh and beautifully prepared seared salmon salad, to the expertly grilled squid with its exceptional texture, and finally the rich and satisfying ramen dishes, every part of the meal felt carefully executed. It is a place that offers not just excellent food, but a complete dining experience, and it is well worth visiting for anyone looking for standout Japanese cuisine in New York.

The amount of noodles is decent and the toppings are pretty good the egg actually come with both half's rather than one like some places so that's good, my only gripe is that the cha siu isn't heated through after being served which tells me that they didn't torch it for long enough before serving. That usually also makes it less tender as the middle is still a little coagulated from being chilled prior. I would also assume that chicken broth is less calorie dense than pork so I also felt less guilty drinking it all. The staff is friendly and quick enough with the service and they also have rotation test menu items which is nice but there's a few items on their regular menu they are always out of like their oyster pancake
