I tried to fill up the rented Toyota RAV from Fox a rental nearby. The first time I came here, it was late night of September 7, after Disneyland and Ralphs. It turned out no credit cards. So I went to Shell, opposite of the street. It seemed there was a weried woman hanging around the gas station. Just be cautious. Next night, 11PM, I tried to fill up the rented Hyndai SantaFe from fox a rental nearby. I used cash this time, $20 for pump 16. The cashier, Nigel gave me $4.84 change. I forgot the gas price. The pumps were fine. Went inside to use the restroom and only one of two were working. You have to acquire a key from the clerk to enter. No napkins, no soap. Toilet paper all over the floor. It's 2022, I was one for work because the descriptor on my bank statement came up as "dollar pawn shop" and that's pretty unrecognizable to an employer to for reimbursement. If you are going to purchase gas before returning your rental car near LAX airport this is where you should go. It has some of the lowest gas prices in the area and it is always packed. Some of the other gas stations closer to the car rentals will jack up their gas prices. It is difficult during rush hour to get back on Aviation after fueling up. I usually just go down Century and work my way back. Be aware of the pedestrians and panhandlers that are roaming nearby. read more

Normally I fill up with chevron but my tank was pretty low so I decided to get just enough to get me home but the moment I turned on my truck it still read empty but I got charged! I went in to ask abt the pump and why I didn't get any gas and the lady (Anna) refused to help and said I'm paying for the gas they gave me. I tried to explain that my truck is still on empty even after filling but she didn't care and told me if I want something done I have to come back tomorrow when a managers here. Horrible scary shit! I went to this 76 station to fill up the tank on my rental. This man aggressively asks for me to fill his fuel tank (one of those plastic ones). I say I can't (I'm also in a hurry) and he keeps bothering me. I oblige, mind you traveling alone, and he holds the fuel hose until it's filled to his liking. This man took advantage of the fact I was alone and scared the crap out of me to help him in a bind. Then he says "god bless", proceeds to his work truck (doesn't use said fuel) and drives away. I'm not typically scared to fill up during the day but the way that man threateningly approached me really upset me. I went inside the 76 and the clerk says this happens all day, everyday. They could invest in a guard or something to shoo away aggressive solicitors. I was just trying to get back to the rental drop off with a full gas tank. STAY AWAY. read more

Filled up here before returning the car rental. Their gasoline prices were not the cheapest, but they were not the most expensive either. There is also a convenience store located inside, but I did not go in. Just needed to fill er up. Good place to stop for gasoline if you are close by to LAX. read more

The guy who works in the evening is not friendly at all and they stop selling beer at 10pm on the weekend. A convenience store that is not very conscience but excels at being creepy. Too many "homeless" people begging for money. Literally cannot come here without being asked for money. It used to be $1 or $2. But I guess inflation caught up, wages stagnant. Now it's "can you fill up my tank" or "can you give me $10 for gas" or "My family and I are stranded" and "I need to call AAA." No cash excuse does not work anymore. They now literally carry gas tanks with them so if you're paying credit card just dip a bit into their bucket. Only way around not giving money away is literally saying "eff- off you drive a 2009 Expedition NO SHIT YOU RAN OUT OUT GAS" but you come off looking like the asshole. imagine that, don't want to give money away to under-deserving freeloaders but YOU'RE THE ASSHOLE. I stopped for gas after leaving LAX, the pump I used wouldn't seal and sprayed fuel all over me, my car and the ground. When I tried to seat the nozzle a 2nd time it wouldn't connect and the fumes were overwhelming. When I went inside to let the attendant know that the pump needed fixing, he was openly rude and obviously had no interest in taking care of it. This station is both a fire and an environmental hazard. Stay away. read more

Similar story to others - Gas pump credit card readers do not work. They make you state a specific amount when you deal with the cashier inside even if you need a fill-up. My credit card company alerted me to a fraud alert from the visit and indeed there was an unauthorized charge. I Cannot recommend this place. read more

Worst customer service ever specially at night shift they are closed 2:30am to 4:00am which is they are not suppose to do and they don't sell lottery after 12 midnight but California law is after 2am and also other places are after 2 am not midnight. Just awful. I've had problems in the past with receipt printers not working, but now the credit card readers at the pumps don't work. So you have to go inside and rather than just swiping and letting you "full up", you have to give them a specific dollar amount. Not very practical for trying to return a rental car with a full tank and having to guess how many gallons it might take. So you end up over paying with the promise that it'll automatically refund the extra. If it does, I'll amend the stars but for now just annoyed and feeling overcharged. read more

I filled up before returning my rent a car. There are homeless people there who are trying to scam you. Be aware. I went late at night. Midnight. So not a good idea to go here at that time either. One started pumping my gas for me without even asking me. He was nice as possible.. But of course that was because he wanted money, since he wanted a tip. I was uncomfortable. Hopefully someone will read this an avoid this gas station.. Another was walking around with candy for you hoping to buy some from him. I didn't go inside so I can't judge the workers. I just hope someone gets this under control. I may contact the police just so they are aware. Then I told Fox rental when I returned my car..
