I've been coming here for breakfast for a while now, usually after a 12-hour night shift when I want to catch up with a coworker or friend before heading home. It's become one of our go-to breakfast spots. My usual order is the pancakes, bacon, and eggs. The pancakes are big, fluffy, and definitely filling. My favorites are the chocolate chip pancakes and the banana pancakes. One of my friends always orders the shrimp and grits, and on our most recent visit another friend tried the shrimp omelet and really enjoyed it. They also have mimosas, which are a nice treat after a long shift. The staff is always friendly, and despite how busy it can get, the service has been consistently good. The restaurant can get pretty crowded, but since we're usually getting off work, we arrive around 8 a.m. and don't have much trouble getting seated. The only downside for me is the pricing. Breakfast here isn't cheap, but I will say that I always leave full and satisfied, so the portions definitely help justify the cost. Overall, if you're looking for a solid breakfast spot with generous portions, good food, friendly staff, and a lively atmosphere, I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Came in here with my cousin for the first time in a long time. On the weekends, the place is ridiculously packed, with waiting times rivaling the best of any establishment. I went ahead and ordered what I knew to be delicious the last time I was here, which was the shrimp & avocado omelette. It was incredible, and perhaps what I love the best was that it was packed to the hilt with shrimp! Leaving LAX? Just arrived from LAX? Come on through! It's not uncommon to run into the owner and or his wife who (if there-and they usually are), won't hesitate to greet you and say hello or wish you a good rest of your day. I've seen their presence time and time again. The CSA (or customer service All Star) was long time server, Esther. If you get her you're lucky, as I bet my bottom dollar that she is the OG, or senior server here and while somewhat conservative, is a true delight to be with. She shared a story on how so many of her customers indicate they had someone in their family name d Esther, and how that tickles her pink! Lol Esther is a credit to the Coffee Company brand!

Came back again today for Mother's Day brunch with friends visiting from out of town, and once again this place reminded me why we keep coming back. They consistently get it right when it comes to the food, customer service, and overall hospitality. When we first checked in, we were told there would be about a 40 minute wait. Anyone with a 3 year old knows that basically feels like an entire work shift. My daughter, however, has never met a stranger a day in her life. Completely on her own, she walked over to one of the hostesses, introduced herself, and then asked if she had a muffin because she was "super hungry." Honestly, the hostess could have easily laughed it off or brushed her aside, but instead she kindly went and brought my daughter a cup of fruit while we waited. Such a small gesture, but it genuinely meant a lot and immediately set the tone for the rest of our visit. From there, everything else was great from start to finish. Friendly staff, smooth service despite the holiday crowd, and food that once again delivered. Experiences like this are what make people return! You know I'll be back!

This is is ok, not the worst and not the best. Food is 7.5/10. It's always hot and fresh. Always clean and there is a waitress we always get that is wonderful.

Yummy food. That down home diner breakfast feel with quality. Service is always good, polite, though a bit slow at times. Come here to catch up with a friend, eat with the fam. No real complaints. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but it's tasty. And service speed varies widely by server, in my experience.

So! I've been here before, but not since pre-COVID, so it felt like the right time for a little reunion visit. My homegirl and I decided on an early brunch before doing some very important dillydallying at the farmer's market afterward. She went with the chicken and waffles, while I ordered the Country Style Chicken Hash with spicy chicken sausage and fries (no eggs). I also asked to remove the mushrooms and peppers from the hash -- just a little personal remix. The dish still came out hearty, and the spicy chicken sausage definitely carried some flavor. Now! My homegirl had a very detailed review on her meal .. Visual Rating: 10/10 Food Taste: 7/10 Overall Experience: 8/10 Pros: The fried chicken had a beautiful golden-brown crust and a satisfying crisp. The waffles were fluffy with a solid structure, allowing the syrup to settle perfectly into the pockets. Lastly , The warm bottle of syrup was also a nice touch. Suggestions / Critique: The chicken could have benefited from a bit more seasoning to really bring out the flavor. The waffles were good, but fairly standard. Adding a specialty butter -- like honey butter, cinnamon butter, or whipped maple butter -- would make the dish feel more premium. A light garnish or dusting of powdered sugar could also enhance the presentation and give the plate a little extra visual flair. Of course, brunch isn't brunch without a little sparkle, so we paired it with a bubbly beverage. Overall, a solid brunch stop with good vibes and a perfect start to a farmer's market kind of morning. P.S. there's plenty of parking and the service was great.

    Shrimp & Grits

We decided to stop here for brunch. My bf got the shrimp and grits and he enjoyed them. I got the skillet with shrimp and asked for easy cheese and medium eggs. I specifically got it with shrimp thinking they would be seasoned like the shrimp in the shrimp n grits but the shrimp in the skillet was completely unseasoned. They tasted boiled and there was way too much cheese on the skillet I couldn't eat it. I swapped the skillet for a simple eggs (medium), potatoes, and turkey sausage plate and even that was unsatisfying. The eggs were over easy and watery, and the turkey sausage was nasty. I pretty much just ate my potatoes and finished my coffee. I don't think the waitress listened to any of my requests as nothing was made the way I asked. I don't think I'll be returning to this restaurant unfortunately.

I closed my eyes while eating the French Toast!! It was that good. The warm glass of syrup was nice touch! I experienced great service by the host & waiters. I visited the restaurant during the week & it was not busy at all. There is cute decor inside & it's bigger than its looks from the outside. Can't wait to go back!

This is your traditional breakfast spot with really good breakfast items. I came here while visiting family and I can see why they like it. It's family oriented and the staff seemed friendly as well. I got the pancakes with egg whites and turkey sausage. Everything tasted good and I loved that they provided warm syrup by default. Not pictured, but I tasted the spicy chicken sausage and it was delicious. I can see why it's a fan favorite amongst the Yelpers... definitely a must try.

I have been coming here for over 20 years. The food is always fresh and they are always pretty fast with it. A good owner, a genuinely good guy, and the people who work there have been there for a long time, which tells you something. The only knock is the music. They play it so loud sometimes that I cannot even concentrate. That is the half point off. Other than that, this is a great place to go for breakfast and I keep coming back for a reason. Four and a half stars.

Came here on the way to drop off a friend at the airport. First of all what an adorable place! Very cute and southern vintage. They were so quick to help us and the food was out quickly and pipin hot! Their biscuits were INSANE! So buttery and flavorful. Loved! Got an egg plate and one of their lite breakfasts. Both are solid. Highly recommend the spicy sausage lite plate. Nice and spicy with a great zin Parking lot behind which was wonderful. We went on a weekday at 9 so it wasn't busy but I heard this place gets packed on the weekends. They sell mimosas by the pitcher so this is the perfect girls brunch location in my mind!

Ask the Community - The Coffee Company

How busy are they on Mondays at 10:30 11AM?

Honestly, it's hard to tell. Kind of depends on how busy LAX is.

Meeting a friend with long layover at LAX. How busy will coffee company be at 9-10 am on a Wednesday?

Wednesday’s are relatively not busy at Coffee Co

How busy is it on Friday at 9am PT? I have a group of about 15...I tried to make reservation, but it says I need to call restaurant. No one picks up when I call.

At 9 should not be very busy. There is the long weekend coming and may be different. However, we recommend someone in the group arrive 30 minutes earlier than the rest of the group and let the host know. Please also be aware that all need to be…

Hi curious if a service dog is allowed on the patio Thanks :)?

It shouldn't be a problem because the seating is outside along the front of the building.

Can you provide a negative test instead of a vaccination card? Or dining outside is an option?

Outside is an option… Not sure if it’s different on weekdays

    Are there any vegan options?

    yes

Are vaccination cards required to eat indoors?

Pitiful...sad...and yes it is required to dine inside

Is it an okay place to bring a dog?

No problem with outside seating. For indoor dining I believe the dog would have to be a licensed service dog.

    Do you offer Catering?

    yes

    Are they black owned?

    Nope

Hi, Are you open Christmas morning around 8:00 am?

Sorry, No. We are closed Christmas Day but we are open at 7:00 the next day. Merry Christmas and happy holidays.

I knew that I have been never try favor the coffee company cafe. So I have a question about the cafe, Is there have more expensive cost?

They have several flavors of coffee every day! They are moderately priced but it is worth spending a little more for the service and the taste of the amazing food!

Looking for a place to grab a cup of coffee and a bite to eat while working our laptop for a few hours after we land at LAX. Is this a good place for that?

ABSOLUTELY. this is one of the hidden gems of LAX. Staff is friendly, prices are great!

Do they have almond flour gluten free pancakes?

No we are sorry we do it have gluten free pancakes.

Is this place good for big groups of 9?

Yes, they can rearrange the tables for larger parties. They also have bench seating in part of the restaurant.

How big is the private lot? I'm picking friends up at LAX for a long layover and we wanted to get brunch somewhere, but I want to make sure we can park.

There's 2 lots plus street parking! More than enough. Just watch for a section of the parking lot across the small street that is blocked off for one of the surrounding businesses. One of the reasons why I love coming here is because of parking. I…
