Hard to believe it's been almost a year since I've been in this location. Went over here to try out the new to the menu Mozzarella chicken tenders & the cheat code loaded fries which is also a first for me. The theme of the restaurant fits the rest of the locations, a nostalgic like restaurant complete with an emustation complete with games from the 80's & 90's and a very colorful theme similar to the classic Rainbow Road track in Super Mario Kart, complete with 80's and 90's music playing in the background. Kinda makes me wish I had a +1 as company to take in this type of area. It gets boring eating alone. Anyway, to the food. The Mozzy Chicken tenders are just as juicy as their regular tenders, only added with a stringy cheese pull that you would expect from fresh Mozzarella, it was divine. The cheat code fries are also fulling too, it's pretty much 2 smashburgers without the bun coating the fries along with cheese and a sauce similar to Pesto. That meal hit the spot though mind you, this was near $30 so bring some good cash with you.

Ordered delivery because I had NO lunch at work. Delivery was prompt despite being 30blocks away. Let's start with the burger! It was simply delicious. Solid patty, great flavor, awesome amount of pickles, cheese and sauce! Also ordered a side of tenders for dinner and ended up eating one and well I ate two and saved one for dinner. Very decent size. The only disappointment is they advertise wedges so I added fries as a side thinking it would be wedges but nope ended up being regular fries. They were good I would've just preferred the wedges as pictured. Nonetheless everything was amazing and I will definitely order something else from there. Better yet, may just pop in and grab a bit to eat so it can be fresh.

10/10 Vibe gives off 90s nostalgia which what drew me in to stop in for lunch. There were game consoles where you can play old school games. Best lunch special deal in Chelsea. $10 for a burger, fries and a drink. Definitely a price that you can't beat. Food was made fresh and was delicious. Plus it's halal. Definitely a must try!

Ordered their funnel cake fries with strawberry sauce to go . It was sooo good & still fresh by the time I got home . Friendly staff . Can't wait to come back to dine in & enjoy the cool atmosphere

Love this little spot tucked away in between scaffoldings @ Seventh Avenue, Chelsea. I took a group of 11 year olds for a birthday celebration. I ordered burgers, fries and drinks and every one was happy whilst playing video games. The staff were very helpful with ordering and troubleshooting with games too. Thank you for having us!

Been wanting to bring the kids to this spot for a while. Finally got the chance to do so this week. The big deal with this place is the atmosphere. The fact that you can play retro games while waiting for your food. The colorful colors, deco & Mario lights make it super cool. The music they play are all oldies so it's good. It's nice but , if I am being honest, the food wasn't all that. My burger was over cooked on the edges , it tasted burnt. Everything that was fried (tots, tenders , wings) all came out looking burnt. Which means the oil in the fryer needs to be changed or they just left it cooking longer than what it needed to be cooked. I was a bit disappointed to be honest. Because I did spend about $100 on food and drinks for 5 of us. I think my fave thing was the milkshake. Service was ok. Not bad.

I took my son to this new location for 8 bit bites in Chelsea. It is a small space with several tables with old school games. I loved the disco floor. For food, we ordered from the kiosk, which had the secret menu. Think cheat codes from different old school games you play, and you will find it. We got churro from the secret menu, which is changed monthly. From the regular menu, my son had a smashburger with bacon and cheese, which he readily ate. I had the Nashville chicken sandwich, which had the perfect coating of sauce covering it. I ordered it with tater tots covered in cheese sauce. Next time, i would forgo the cheese sauce, which makes the excellent crispy tater tots soggy and has little flavor. For games, we played Sonic the hedgehog, and my son learned how to hold a controller. Service is great as the food was served pretty quick and hot. I would go again with my son. Tips: Even though it is small, they do have a bathoom. Ask the front for help starting the game as the qr instructions are not very helpful.

I work down the block from here and decided to try this place out for lunch. I'm so glad I did! This place is super cool and retro. Food was great & Anneta was awesome! Thanks for the welcoming me & the generous hospitality. I look forward to visiting again. Will definitely visit again for lunch.

Like many of you, I first heard about this place online. I thought it looked cool from what I saw. My friend had eaten at another location and wanted to come here. The store is very stylish but pretty small. It looks exactly as advertised online. There are several tables with games you can play. You have your choice of old school games to choose from. Pretty much anything from before the 3D era. When I first came I got the funnel cake fries with strawberry toppings. They were pretty good but not something I would get again. Maybe if I were here with friends and didn't want a meal. My 2nd trip was a smash burger, fries, and the rainbow road milkshake. I was also able to try the tater tots. The burger was legitimately one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Unfortunately it is small and at $6.50, too expensive. The fries were also really good, although I ordered tots. As for the milkshake, it was a vanilla milkshake mixed with fruity pebbles. That one was very delicious. The food came out about 10mins after I ordered it. I was able to play Super Mario Bros 3 while I waited. They called my name when it was ready. All in all, this is a great spot to come with friends. Only issue I had was pricing but nowadays everything is expensive.

The place. A Nintendo sound rings when the door opens. Funny.

The place is fun with the old school games at each table, as everybody has already pointed out. You order at the front, just like at a McDonald's. They then deliver to your table. They have a sign saying they charge 3% extra for credit card charges. Not sure if they actually do it. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, the tater tots and a soda. The chicken was thin, crispy and a bit spicy (not too spicy). It had a hint of sweetness. The bread was soft. Plenty of sauce. It may have been a bit overcooked. The tater tots were fine. It's not the best chicken sandwich. I did enjoy playing punch-out haha. Anyways, I may go there again next time I want to play punch out again.

We were thrilled to find two seats at the end of the bar when we arrived. As luck would have it, the two gentlemen next to us eventually left, allowing us to slide over and enjoy an even better view of the TV for the rest of the game. I started with a Tito's and club soda, but unfortunately, something seemed off--perhaps the club soda was flat. The drink just wasn't good. To their credit, the bartender took it back without hesitation and was very accommodating. I then ordered a Negroni after the woman sitting next to us highly recommended it. I don't usually drink gin, but this cocktail was absolutely delicious and changed my mind. Since we were there for several hours, we shared an order of zucchini and eggplant chips and happily snacked on them throughout the game. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, with a nice mix of ages and people enjoying the evening. We made sure to leave our bartender a generous tip since we occupied our seats for the entire game. Even though the Knicks didn't pull out a win that night, we certainly didn't leave defeated. I'd happily return for another game, cocktail, and fun evening out. And maybe even get dinner there. Little did I know there was another big room in the ack once you past the restrooms. They were having a thriving business there!

He was constantly busy zippin around but maintained a nice demeanor and made everyone feel welcome! Must orders of mine: the burger! Although small, it comes out piping hot and the fresh white onion between the bottom bun and burger is awesome because it doesn't make the bottom bun soggy and catches all the juices from the actual meat. Love subbing the fries for a Caesar salad! Standout appetizer is the fried zucchini and eggplant with tzatziki-- crispy, hot, juicy and I get it every time!

Reservations open 2 weeks in advance around 10am and they go super fest so I recommend you try for the day you need as for me I could only have gotten brunch on a Sunday. Those people spam the crap out of their buttons for the dinner spots and when I went I can see why. The place is brimming with old school New York charm and it's completely overwhelmingly beautiful and has an old jazzy vibe to it. It's large and spacious and they sat us in the middle of the entire restaurant. (I had a group of 6) The vibe was so good you don't really want to leave and they also don't really kick you out. I think we were the last ones to exit for brunch but they were so nice they didn't kick us out. Their espresso martinis are ok. It wasn't as amazing as a regular cocktail bar but it is just ok. We started off with a shrimp cocktail, smoked whitefish Caesar salad and the two plates of truffle monkey bread which was soooo good. I really enjoyed this as it's the main reason we came here. It's almost like a honey dinner roll with truffle. We got everything next which some people got their own and some shared. Some people got their own American breakfast platter which was some overdone eggs and a meat with gigantic toast and if you only order scrambled eggs it comes in a bowl but I would much rather order their classics like steak sandwich and the spicy shrimp was pretty good! Fries are top tier! I can see why people just come here for dinner. I would give it mostly 5 stars for the overall ambiance and environment and a few classics. I think their old fashioned is better than their espresso martinis though even though it looks so good in this type of setting! It's hard to get a reservation though so next time I'll need to try some new things if I score another!

Two-part, proper settle, tight dome, no rushing it. That's rarer than it should be in Midtown where half the bars treat a stout like a lager. Whoever's behind the bar here has been trained or grew up around it. Food's better than a second-floor pub between 5th and 6th has any right to be. The JRB burger comes on a house-ground patty (they grind in-house, and you can tell, loose texture, actual seasoning), caramelized onions cooked down all the way, not just softened, good cheese pull. Fried pickles on the side had a crisp cornmeal shell and stayed crunchy under the burger juices, which never happens. Buttermilk chicken salad was the surprise. Chicken actually brined, crust stayed on, greens weren't an afterthought. Only real knock: music was loud. Not sports-bar loud, more like the bartender's playlist got away from him. Fine at the bar, harder at a table if you want to talk. Room's got real bones. Reclaimed barn wood, old rail track as a foot rest, that big 45-star flag on the wall. Been here almost 20 years and it's aged into itself. For the neighborhood the pricing's fair. Beats P.J. Clarke's on the burger, loses on quiet. Go for a beer and a burger, not a date.
