I hate giving a bad review. But I tried this place twice and both times were regrettable. First time, I got shrimp tacos. The shrimp was made to order. Something about them was off. Since I may have made a bad first order. I returned to try a chicken taco. The second time, the black beans were hard. Not firm. Hard. The two points are for the staff. This place rules! I go to chipotle all the time and honestly, I'd rather go here from now on. A real game changer is that queso is free here! Chipotle you have to pay for it. I also feel like the portion is exorbitantly larger than chipotle. I feel like I was eating this burrito forever I got a shredded chicken burrito that came out to $13.05. The staff was so friendly. I was one of the few people there so there was no line. I'll serve really hot when I ate it at my office later. The queso really makes it creamy. I order quite frequently from Adobo, and have to give them two thumbs up for some great tasting Mexican food. Recently I've become obsessed with their 3 taco set. You can design it yourself to ensure that it has the taste profile that you like. On the last occasion (last night), I got steak as my protein, and it was absolutely delicious! The steak was tender and juicy and not overcooked like at some places. In the past I've had almost everything on the menu, but their burritos are also a standout. Great taste and a good value. I have to say that in general whatever I've ordered in the past has always been tasty. Prices reasonable for the quality. To me it's just a Mexican version of chipotle. So if you're into chipotle but sick of the Americanization of the food give them a shot. read more

I ordered delivery from them a few weeks ago and the tacos were phenomenal . I went in to try them again today and I ordered a honey chicken quesadilla, steak birria tacos and crunchy beef tacos. I have never had better food in New York City and I'm born and raised here. I am shocked at the quality, better than any other Mexican inspired place I've eaten at. Chipotle could literally never. The key takeaways for me is the freshness, the piping hot food and the service. Nirav was so kind and nice. He made very good suggestions as to what we should try as I was curious about some items. He was so dedicated to make sure we enjoyed the food and service. Honestly such a memorable experience. Needless to say I will be a regular customer here moving forward. The habañero sauce is a kicker but manageable. Roasted onions, pico de gallo, and salad greens were in my order await was delicious. The chicken is not rubbery. It is juicy flaky. Order the keto bowl. I am very grateful that they are open near my office. Inside is no thrills, clean, and chill. The churros with the dolce de Leche filling look dreamy but I didn't get them. I used to be a frequent customer at this place, at one point I actually loved coming to this place as the food was delicious especially the desserts, but I will never eat here again. while waiting to have my order taken, I went to the bathroom, and it was a complete mess and there was poop on the toilet seat as I was leaving to go find a cleaner bathroom I told one of the staff members respectfully about the bathroom and that it needed to be clean and he said no problem thank you for letting us know and headed towards the back. I came back after using another bathroom and as I was about to order I had a feeling to ask if they had cleaned the bathroom and when I did, they said "no we don't clean the bathroom until we close at 4am" I told them that I changed my mind and didn't wish to order anything and the staff got kind of aggressive and tried to basically bully me into ordering food when I told them no thank you if you keep the bathroom like that I can only imagine the kitchen one of the staff members got rude with me and said bro it's not like were cooking food in the bathroom....yeah stay clear of this place. read more
