    Hamachi crunch roll
    Anna S.

The food was mediocre at best. Hamachi crunch roll was like having gas station sushi. It was shriveled and dry and kind of sour... The pineapple chicken sandwich came out looking bland as it tasted. I enjoyed the fries and that was it. We went for lunch, bright 100+ outside but still vibing like we at the club 1:30 in the morning. Also tried to order a mocktail but saw a fairly large fly in the drink before it could be drunk. Sorry, not a fan of Essence of Fly. Waitress graciously removed it from the tab. Would 100/10 skip

Food was delicious. Restaurant is beautiful. Music was a little loud but musician played beautifully. Location is perfect Downtown Summerlin.

Jing used to be the spot, and honestly, it still holds its own for a late night vibe. Came in late on a Saturday after waking up from a nap, starving and just needing somewhere reliable. One thing you can count on, they're open, the energy is there, and they're ready to serve. The music was bumping without being overwhelming, and it wasn't too packed, which made the whole experience even better. The decor has always been a standout, super intentional with just the right amount of razzle dazzle. It feels elevated but still fun. Service was great, per usual. I really appreciate how they run things with a minimal but efficient team, it never feels chaotic, just smooth and well managed. Food wise, I'd give it about a 3.5/5. The highlights were definitely the kale salad and the Alaskan snow crab roll with soy paper, both were super fresh and flavorful. The surf and turf roll was solid too. On the downside, the firecracker shrimp and miso cod didn't hit. The cod actually came out burnt (like noticeably black on half of it), which was surprising, but the server handled it perfectly, took it back right away, and comped it. That level of service definitely stood out. Overall, it's still a great go to for late nights or even a lunch with a good bar scene, solid food, and consistently great service.

Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 So, we recently discovered Jing. We went there for the first time about 3 months ago, and we have been back about 5 times. Every single time the service, food, and drinks are on point. We love the happy hour and pretty much strictly go for it. The great part is their happy hour is 7 days a week. From their sushi, to their steaks, to their cocktails, everything is always outstanding. The vibe is also great. Each server we have had is great, but we have to give a special shout out to Izzy who we have had twice and is amazing. If you love sushi and a modern vibe, you have to give Jing a try!

Did a happy hour at Jing. The ambiance is undeniably trendy, with moody lighting, sleek finishes. The water wall is really cool. It's the kind of place that feels upscale without being stuffy, making it one of the better spots in the neighborhood for a high-energy happy hour. Good value for the happy hour with many different choices. It was flavorful and tasty, with a nice presentation as well. Staff was pleasant and attentive.

Such a vibe and so fancy! Food is good and service is impeccable. We made a reservation on opentable and we seated immediately upon arrival. We ordered some items from the happy hour menu and a few items from the regular menu. The yellowtail serrano was such great quality. The raw oysters were fresh too. We didn't personally like the tempura shrimp appetizer as much because it wasn't what we expected when we see tempura but it was tasty though. The miso blackcod was so delicious but it had some bones so be careful. My husband loved his burger, it was big, juicy and filled with goodness. Service was very attentive and kept our space clear whenever someone walked by. We got a booth and it was great to be by the fire on a cold day. I highly recommend and would definitely be back to try other items on the menu!

    Cucumber kale salad

We dined at Jing and ordered a great mix of dishes, including salmon nigiri, oysters, steak tartare, a California roll, and the kale salad. The salmon nigiri was fresh and clean, the oysters were nicely briny, and the steak tartare was well-balanced and flavorful. The California roll was classic and satisfying, while the kale salad was light and refreshing--perfect alongside the richer items. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was upscale and stylish, with a modern, chic vibe that made the whole experience feel elevated without being uncomfortable. Overall, great food, great service, and a beautiful setting--definitely a place we'd return to.

I was looking forward to trying Jing but my first impression wasnt the best. I think what started the evening off wrong was a trip to the bathroom when we first arrived. The trash can was overflowing with paper, out of the two stalls only one had seatcovers to use, and it was clear that it needed to cared for overall. I expected better based on the restaurant style. All of our food did taste good. No complaints here. My daughters enjoyed their steak and crab legs. My husband got the Wagyu on a hot stone to cook. I liked the presentation for this as well as the creme brulee for dessert. They both use dry ice. The chicken that came with my garlic noodles was a bit lacking in flavor and the cut sizes did not compliment the dish. The portion sizes are also on the smaller size. We really enjoyed the fries and dumpling appetizer. I would come back for appetizers and dessert.

S/o to Stephanie for taking great care of my friend and I. We got an assortment of tasty treats! Vibes are amazing, I've been to the location in Denver and loved this spot just as much! DJ was spinning great music! Espresso martini was amazing! We got the blue fin crispy rice and rock shrimp which were both amazing and classics! We also got the Wagyu beef bao sliders that were tasty! I forgot the roll we had but it was spectacular. The food is always amazing and never go wrong with anything in the menu! Forgot to take pics of the rest of the food lol was to excited and enjoying the vibes.

Ask the Community - JING Las Vegas

Is this place kid friendly on a Saturday night?

No definitely not. Lots of loud music and drinking. You probably could be ok until 8pm. It's a fun place but I'd say adults only on Saturday night

How can I contact you? I called a few times yesterday and no one answered but the voicemail picked up, so I left a message. I've also sent a couple of emails. I would like to speak with a team member about a reservation.

What time does the dj start on a Saturday?

    Around 9pm.

Do you practice shellfish allergy precautions when needed?

THEY DID WITH ME WHEN I TOLD THEM I HAVE A SHELLFISH ALLERGY.

Is it 21 and over only for the restaurant?

    No, they allow kids

Do they have a kids menu? If so what kind of items are on it?

No, but a huge menu with many options in food.

Hi, I’m planning a dinner for a group of friends so we can catch up. Is the restaurant atmosphere loud or can conversations be held without yelling? Thank you!

Such a great spot for large groups! I recommend going before the DJ starts at 8:30pm.

Do they offer bottle service for dinner?

    Yes

    Can I bring a cake?

You may need to call, typically they would allow it but who knows about current protocols.

    Do they have happy hour?

Yes! And it's a good one. Monday-Friday 4-6 pm. I have posted pic of menu on my yelp review :)

    What is the dress attire?

    Business Casual

Are they kid friendly and do they have high chairs?

The restaurant part is kid friendly but my kid is 12 years old. I'm sure they have high chair.

Is the Dinner Menu available all day, or just the Lunch Menu until a certain time?

Lunch is 11-3 and dinner is 5-close. They have a happy hour for the in-between time

What days and hours is Happy Hour?

Hi Maria! Happy Hour is daily from 3 PM to 6 PM. Hope to see you soon!

Are they open for lunch? I see a lunch menu on their site, but the hours on Yelp are for dinner only.

I asked last night and they said they will start serving lunch and Happy Hour on Monday, Feb3rd.

Assuming you coordinate your order(s) with your table and don't order rolls with a lot of rice, it's totally doable to get a great bang for your buck here! Drink wise: 10/10 would recommend the Strawberry Lychee Soju cocktail Nicole's customer service was on point during my family's most recent visit. Everything we ordered came out at a reasonable time and our water jug was proactively refilled without us having to flag her down. She even greeted my dad for Father's Day! That was a lovely touch, seeing as we came in right before the dinner rush. Coming from a brief food service background myself and in the interest of mindfulness, I try to make ordering a lot of items as easy as possible. It helps a to have a server that's personable and attentive. We're so thankful for her taking such great care of us! Chef Shuji runs the restaurant with his wife next to him in the kitchen. The fish here is flown in from Japan and of the highest quality as you can see from the sheen and fat marbling. The tuna melts in your mouth and bite after bite is a wonderful experience as you pair it with soy sauce, fresh Wasabi, yuzu Wasabi, or some combination of the condiments provided. This is also the first sushi restaurant I have ever been to that automatically brings out fresh Wasabi without having to ask. The portions are generous and we left feeling very satisfied. Even though we were very full, we took a look at the dessert menu. Not pictured here is a sweet potato with ice cream and brown sugar glaze. This dish on the menu was unassuming but the taste was so decadent. Quite possibly the best and sweetest sweet potato I have ever tasted. The chef slowly roasts them over a 2 hour period, rotating the potatoes every so slightly every 15 minutes. The sweet potato could be a dessert by itself, it was that good! Chef Shuji is a charming and funny host. He regularly comes out to greet his customers and makes sure they are enjoying their meal, very high-touch. If you know Japanese - even if it's just a few phrases, speak with him as he will be delighted. He was absolutely tickled when we said arigato and he shared that he is originally from Kyoto.
