They emphasized heavily on my area of pain and did all sorts of techniques to relieve it! The 808 Wellness center is a great place to have as a source of pain management, but hope to return to enjoy some of the other techniques for enjoyment! I was never a yelper untill now, I immediately made a yelp account to just speak highly of Amira, she is hands down the best massage therapist I ever had in my life, I came to Maui from San Diego, CA for a bachelors party but also in need of some nice R&R. We were referred to this place for a couples massage while on vacation. Sara was friendly and provided a great one hour massage. We both felt relaxed and enjoyed the after retreat that was provided to us. We sipped on herbal tea with some snacks in a room with aromas. My lovely boyfriend and I attended a couples massage workshop with Kevin and it exceeded expectation. It was so relaxing and engaging. I learned so much about how I can better massage my partner as well as general information about the human anatomy that I was not fully aware of. Kevin was truly professional and was able to make the class informative, relaxing, and a lot of fun! We both enjoyed ourselves so much. I would absolutely recommend anyone to see Kevin. His classes are on fridays 11-1 or 7-9. We attended the 11-1 and it was just the right way to start the day. I have neck problems and he was not only able to totally relax me, but also showed my boyfriend how to do so as well at home. I was recently in Maui and wanted to try acupuncture along with some body work. I've been abnormally stressed lately and regular massages just weren't relieving me the way I sought. I told my wife that if she did the leg work that I'd give it a try since I'm incredibly scared of needles. She found 808 Wellness Center and we read the reviews and deiced to pursue some services. Alan was AMAZING! I could barely even tell that he was poking me. He diverted my attention with light conversation and he could sense I was apprehensive. After the acupuncture he did body work and I felt relief on a totally different level. If you want true relief and relaxation you'll want to give Alan a try. Also, this is a great way to avoid the overprice resorts. He used to be at one of them for 15+ years so trust you're getting the same quality you'd be getting. read more

He took the time to talk with me in the beginning to see what I was looking for and respected all of my requests. I can only speak to the yoga portion of 808 Wellness (I did not receive any massages... this time...). I was hoping to do yoga a bit while on vacation and found 808 Wellness across the street from where I was staying. Amazing find! I ended up doing yoga there almost every day I was on Maui. I couldn't have been happier with the welcoming/comfortable vibe and excellent instruction. I took a meditation class with Sara and learned how to prep physically and actually sit comfortably in mediation. I've meditated for years but just now learned these foundations. Thank you Sara! Working out here in Maui and i woke up with a stiff neck! Called and Alan was able to get me in at the spur of the moment. Staff was so inviting, kind, and professional. Place is very clean and peaceful. The kink in my neck was rubbed out in about half an hr . When i got there i had to turn my whole body to look in any direction. After the massage i was able to turn my neck 3/4 of the way in both directions!! Super skilled masseuse with hands of magic! I have really enjoyed my experience at 808 wellness. When seeking out a new practitioner for anything health related, the first point of contact I make is extremely important. From my original phone call inquiring about their services and every time I come into the office or have had to call to change an appointment, everyone in the office has been amazingly friendly and welcoming. Because if the environment isn't pleasant then the overall experience of trying to improve ones health will be diminished. Alan and the massage therapist I saw have both been extremely attentive and caring toward my needs, where I'm at, and what I'm trying to work on. The BEST experience ever! Michelle is SO knowledgeable and amazing! I was blessed with being able to spend an hour with her as she lead us through the most amazing Yoga Therapy session. This is NOT your typical instructor or yoga, Michelle is very gifted and you will walk away feeling healed & rejuvenated for sure! She really emphasizes breathing techniques and integrated some great tools to teach us how to get in tune with our body, techniques which you can even do on your own. I sprained my ankle on a hike and wanted to get some treatment before my flight the next day. They were able to squeeze me in the morning before my flight and Alan was wonderful and very helpful. My ankle and leg were way looser and more comfortable after the acupuncture and a bit of acupressure treatment. The setting was very relaxing and comfortable. We stayed in Maui for our honeymoon and were so pleased to find this place. Not only did we walk in and were given a couples massage appointment within 15minutes, this place is totally professional and beautiful! They are less than half the price of the local hotels and offer more than the 'cookie cutter' service you would get at those places. The staff were so nice and we haven't stopped telling people about our amazing Lomi Lomi couples experience since we arrived back in the UK. The best massage we've ever had! During my trip to Maui from Australia, I strained my neck. I found the 808 Wellness clinic in Kehei, and they were brilliant. Although a little off the beaten path they were easy enough to find, and so accommodating. I had walked in without a booking, and although they usually advise a two hour introductory session, due to time constraints Alan booked me for a one hour session (which was actually a little longer). The combination of acupuncture and massage, along with some recommendations for stretches, had me walking out feeling like new. My only regret? It's an 18 hour trip to come back. Highly recommend this place... I should also mention Letha on reception was super friendly and helpful, inviting me in and showing me around the very zen space, and advising as to what treatment would help me best.
