I had an outstanding experience, thanks to the kind, warm office staff and the gentle expertise of masseuse Thomas. I had a persistent pain, which started in my neck and traveled around, winding a path through my shoulders, upper back, lower back, and then settled in my left shoulder (mostly). I had tried rest, personal stretching, sleeping on my back, aspirin, which helped, actually, but didn't permanently alleviate the pain. It had been going on for six weeks when I finally gave in, and said I needed help from a professional. A truly well trained masseuse will consult with you on your pain, as Thomas did. He listened to my description. He asked questions. He moved my arm in different ways gently, and pressed my shoulder and arm in different areas to determine a direction for therapy. Although there were pain during the initial consultation, Thomas assured me that the forthcoming massage was not about being able to tolerate pain, but to find the source and to relieve the pain. I swear I was feeling better in about ten minutes into the hour session. He used a combination of deep tissue, pressure points, and medium to firm muscle strokes. When it was over, I felt 80% to 90% better and could nearly rotate my arm like before. However, there was still soreness and stiff muscles to contend with. Thomas taught me different massages I could do on my own, to help myself at home, which I appreciated. He wasn't trying to sell me on more services but educate me on how to take care of myself. Called 808 for massages for me and my husband, they were able to get us both in within 30 minutes. First impression, the spa was beautiful and the person who made the appointment and checked us in was super helpful explaining everything in a kind and soft manner. The staff available were a male, Dylan, and female, Jen. My husband is uncomfortable have a male masseur, so he had Jen and I had Dylan. I am a thicker lady and was a little nervous when I saw that Dylan was a young and attractive male. BUT, he was fantastic, I am 39 and have had tons of massages and this was probably the best massage I have ever had. We didn't chat, which I love, and he made me feel 100% comfortable while giving a wonderful massage. He checked in on the pressure at the perfect times. My husband told me that Jen was great too. He had a few spots he wanted extra attention on and she got those spots to perfection. My favorite part was the Hawaii stretching of the massage. We will be back on our next Maui trip! read more

Located upstairs across from a restaurant. Plenty of parking but at night limited amount of parking. Also it is dark around this vicinity so be careful pedestrians. Went to two of the events here. The first one intended to go shatki unleashed but they had a different guest speaker that night. She discussed gut health and gave us a packet. It was a very informative class and we had a few samples to taste. Had to hit up the farmers market after that class. Then I went to experience the Tibetan singing bowls which was a first for me. The class was small and intimate maybe about ten of us. They provided a mat, blankets for if we got too cold. I really enjoyed that experience it was very healing. She went over what to expect which kind of eased any hesitation. All and all great place with different events available throughout the week. read more

I booked a couples massage for my honeymoon a month in advance, but a few days before, 808 informed me they couldn't accommodate it. Despite confusing communication, we kept our appointment as it was too late to find another option. Upon arrival, the front desk attendant insisted on pre-payment and asked about gratuity upfront, which felt off. My prenatal massage was below average, and I felt uneasy throughout. The floors were dirty, and my husband's masseuse was late; he found his massage average. My husband and I witnessed another customer there who had an issue with an unexpected charge, and overall it seems like the employees there just want to nickel and dime their customers without ensuring that they have a positive experience. read more

Had a 90minute massage and the lady didn't even rub my back. She put heat on my back for quite some time then took the heat off and told me to roll over..... I've never had a massage where you tell them your lower back hurts and they don't even touch you back..... seriously a joke --- I also told her I hurt the left side of my neck and during the massage she had to co ti ially ask which side was the hurt side... not to mention... paid for 90mins and got like 70mins massage. She was Suppose to finish at 5:45pm and when I got dressed and checked the time it was 5:33pm. It was very evident that the therapist didnt want to be there and was checked out for the day. They were able to get us back to back appointments (not ideal, but we booked it). I had Thomas as my therapist. The mini consultation prior to the massage was great. We had great massages today. Paula was my massage therapist. Her technique was excellent and she was very professional. She asked about any injuries and monitored appropriately on how I was doing.
