Now on to the cake itself. First off, the cake was moist and dense at the same time, which I really liked. It wasn't too overwhelmingly sweet - this is important, since I served it to older adults, who are not fond of super sugary, diabetes inducing cakes (hahah ). But they appreciated the cinnamon-y taste from the pumpkin spice cake. Furthermore, all the fruit on the cake was fresh. There were pomegranate seeds, blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries. All 1000% ripe, fresh, with the right amount of sweetness. The fruits did not seem to be pre-frozen and thawed either. Lastly, the rosemary and cinnamon sticks were a very nice touch to the cake. I would probably pay to ship some goods down to FL since I do not get to visit often. The staff is helpful and friendly. Parking can sometimes be minimal, especially around the holidays. Apparently, this location is only one-month new (just recently had its grand opening on Oct 1st). I tend to pass by Main Street almost every day but had I not look up, I probably would've missed it too. I was walking back from Tangram Mall. I usually take the bus to go home and would often be on my phone on the bus. So, I rarely look up to see the view. I decided to walk on this side instead because of lesser people on the sidewalk. The bakery spot had been under construction for months now with the big "Coming Soon" plastered all over it. Today, I looked up to see that it has been finally opened now. Bright and clean, it gives off a comfortable vibe when stepping inside through the entrance. Ambiance is mostly of white marble walls and white marble tiles for the flooring. There're several tables lying around on the side and in the middle of the bakery. Staff is in the back at the register. Bottled drinks are stored inside the fridge for $1-3. They sell smaller single-serving cakes at around $11. If you're not up to the challenge of chowing down the smaller/mini cakes by yourself, then there's always the option of the single-size slices on the side. I like how their pastries + breads are around $2-3. Portion wise is bigger than other U Best Bakery locations in Flushing. Found some outlets under some of the seats. No restroom though, so you better start running to the ones in Tangram. Staff is nice, patient, helpful, and friendly. They speak Mandarin & English. Usually no lines and minimal wait. Fast service too! Place accepts both cash and card. My new favorite bakery now!
