    their delicious Loaded Fries!
    Joanna F.

BOMB ASS FOOD located in Glendale ! 10/10 must try I'm telling you! I think his name was Simon that helped us out! Which we loved his vibe & his energy but yea every time I go there the food always SLAPS!

Sign clearly states $5 for regular beer $3 happy hour. No brands are listed. Employee said anything I want. That was a lie.
    Danny T.

They have a sign that says during happy hour beer is $3. I go inside, order food. Ask what beer is $3, the lady says all of them. I grab one, open my beer and wait for my food. Total cost was $11. The owner calls her and said wait that beer is not on happy hour make him pay the $2 extra. It's regular price. I tell her I'm not going to do that, I can exchange it for a happy hour beer, I was told all the beers were on sale. He was like well he already opened it so we won't do that either. He needs to pay the $2 extra. I laughed and just asked for a refund. So my opened beer, @ a $2dollar loss to the owner was worth $11 profit. It's nothing really but these choices are bafflingly. I highly doubt this place will be in business long with these silly business choices. Its hilarious . Poor service

I guess it's a good late night spot since it's one of the very few open in Glendale. The food is average, not that good in my opinion. Everything is very very greasy and oily. On top of that, the cashier was very rude and did not even say one word out of his mouth. I understand that it's 1 AM but have the decency to say hello and goodbye or even mention the price I have to pay like hello??? Would probably not come here again. I'd say once is enough to be honest.

The service was really good here once you got to the counter. I think they might have been understaffed when I went yesterday. The ambiance is nice for a fast food type restaurant. The food was good based on what they serve here. The loaded fries look awesome. I think I might want to try that next time.

818 plate -comes with 2 sandwhiches

Wow! I had the 818 plate it was delicious the coleslaw is made fresh while chicken has a good kick.. They use nice and soft tenders for their chicken sandwhich. Comes on home style brioche .. I'll be sure to post a pic ! The best chicken sandwhich I've had out here.. When you arrive here check out the awesome artwork on the walls!

This is the mild Chicken Wrap!

The atmosphere is incredibly cozy, with warm lighting and a comfortable, inviting ambiance that makes every visit feel relaxing and enjoyable. Their Thai tea with no sugar is absolutely fantastic and pairs perfectly with the meal. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food, great service, and a wonderful dining experience!

It's super clean but without feeling steril. When we sat down, we noticed a nice woman with her mom who was celebrating her 95th birthday and we sat next to them. They were both very sweet and mentioned the items they got and how good everything was. We basically mirrored their dishes and were not disappointed by our choices. Generally, when you're at a Thai restaurant, you can't go wrong when you take advantage of suggestions given to you by two beautiful Thai people. We started off with an appetizer called "Gold Rush" which are 6 crispy, yet chewy wontons that are cooked until golden and then the dipping sauce was a tangy soy vinaigrette which I initially wished had not been taken away with our plates when we were done but any concern I had was soon forgotten when the other dishes came out because everything was so well seasoned that I never once thought, "I wish I still had some of that dipping sauce". We ordered the Laab Chicken which I always crave because so many Thai restaurants don't serve it. But Spice Season offers it and that might have been my favorite dish. I always order it without the rice powder because I don't like the powdery ground rice. I think it's a distraction from everything else in the dish. Our server didn't blink an eye when I asked that it not be included. Next, we ordered the Pad Thai. It was delicious. The noodles are thinner rice noodles (like angel hair) than what I have typically experienced (more like the size of linguini) but I loved the dish overall, would not change a thing and will definitely order it again. Blazing Basil Beef was the next dish that came out. The beef was super tender that night but it did not heat up well the next day. It got tough, even though I heated it up using a very low microwave power setting. This was in no way a reflection on how they cooked this dish because it was perfect when it came out. I will try the Heaven Scent next time or Spice Season Steak in lieu of Blazing Basil but that is not to say I would never order it again - far from it - but we are excited to try other dishes as I have noted further below. Rounded everything out with the Pineapple Fried Rice which I crave just as much as Laab but I'm usually nervous to try it because so many times the rice doesn't have any flavor, or not enough pineapple juice but not the case here! It was delicious! D'oh! I forgot to mention the Matcha Cheesecake which was heavenly. It took me several days to finish that off and unlike the Blazing Basil, it held up fantastically in the fridge for the next few days which is how long it took me to finish it off. Honestly, everything we tried was incredibly fresh, bursting with different flavors and cooked the way we enjoy our Thai food. We were not rushed, and the person who took our order said that we had ordered plenty of food which I appreciated - we do tend to over-order but that's because we eat the leftovers but I thought it was nice that she gave me the "that's probably enough" sign. Last thing I will mention just to help others on the spicy scale, we love our Thai food spicy. I read some reviews where people said the food was not spicy enough. We told our server that we like spicy and that we would leave it up to her - she said that everything would be a 4 out of 5 on the spice scale and while it was perfect for me, my husband thought it was just a tad too spicy but I think he's just out of practice. ;) We will probably go with 3 out of 5 next time, unless I'm alone. Then I would go back to 4 on the spice scale! I'm excited to try the Papaya Salad, Lime Steak Salad, Tom-Yum Fried Rice, Heaven Scent, and Lemongrass Soup. They definitely have a wide variety of food offerings, including things I've never heard of or seen. Something for everyone!

S/O and I shared the vegan combo and dereq tibs, a pitcher of their infused water, an Ethiopian cream coffee, and a glass of palm tree (their arnold palmer). The food was fantastic. I loved every bite we had, especially the gomen (braised greens), cabbage and carrot, and the kik alicha. The dereq tibs, though? That was AMAZING. Tender beef, sweet stewed onion, the perfect amount of spice from the serranos. I loved that the dish is accompanied by senafich (a spicy, horseradish-y mustard) and mitmita (a DELICIOUS chili powder that I want to put on everything lol). The beverages were delicious, I love an arnold palmer and this one is probably the best i've ever had with their spiced tea. Their coffee was decadent and strong and perfectly balanced. And the banana split! I am not usually one for dessert but I knew I needed to try this and I'm SO glad I did. A symphony of textures and complex flavors. We may or may not have used our fingers to get the last bits from the dish. The place itself is like a little oasis from the hustle and bustle of the strip mall outside. Vibey music, beautiful furniture and decor, and all attention paid to the little details. Can't wait for them to reopen so we can come back!! The vegan combo came with a bunch of flavorful things like stewed red lentils, stewed yellow split peas, Ethiopian salad, et cetera. I'm not vegan, but I would have been more than satisfied with just the vegan combo as it was delicious and filling. The doro wat - spicy braised chicken with a hard-boiled egg - was tender and tasty. I thought the beef dish was even better. The beef pieces practically melted in my mouth. And everything went great with the injera, which had a spongy texture that I found absolutely pleasing. The service was also wonderful. Before our meal, our server performed a hand-washing ceremony with rose water. And after we finished eating, we were presented with wet towels to clean our hands. Throughout lunch, our server kept our glasses of water filled. This place is a small intimate spot with very few tables, so reservations are strongly recommended.
