There's this place in Seattle that I really love for teriyaki chicken and the funny thing is, this place originated in Seattle and actually moved down here! I got the beef and chicken combo and it comes with white rice, a salad and some tempura pieces. Price is very reasonable for the amount they give you- such a big portion too! It is either street parking or a nearby parking structure that allows for free parking the first 90 minutes and there's plenty of spaces in there. Place was empty when we got there. My food was a very small portion but it was cooked adequately. My daughter's chicken teriyaki was cold and very dry and tough, mostly char and very little teriyaki, she ate what was edible and left the rest for the trash. I was looking for a teriyaki joint in Glendale since Yoshinoya in my area is trash. So I happened to find this plcce on yelp. Ordered the family pack to go and when I got home, I was surprised of how much food they packed. It had 4 chicken, 4 beef, tempura, salad, rice and stir fried veggies. However, the chicken and beef were on Skewers. The chicken was over cooked, therefore dry. The beef was a little better. This is not teriyaki, more like kabobs. The teriyaki sauce was too salty and watery. Teriyaki should be served already seasoned with sauce. The tempura was over fried so the crust was rock hard. The salad n dressing was ok and they must have served like 8 servings of rice. I dont think ill be eating here in the near future. read more

Food: we ordered the teriyaki chicken and beef plate and the shrimp and beef plate. Both plates meat were extremely overcooked, the beer tasted like burnt, chicken was dry, and the shrimp was tough. I was shocked since the reviews are so good . How can you mess up beef and shrimp? Best thing on the plate was the gyoza and white rice.. which is pretty sad. Very disappointed with the entire meal. The store is not the most glamorous. It does seem like a good hangout for locals however. While I was waiting for food. A group of patrons decided to do karaoke. The staff played music in a large speaker and they started singing. I think the food was relatively simple. There wasn't bells and whistles to it. I had a teriyaki chicken bowl, which was charboiled chicken leg meat dressed in commercial terikayi sauce over rice. It is a step up from Yoshinoya.
