Great little spot with a view of Blind's Pass. Nice that they offer their own parking lot so parking should not be an issue. We sat upstairs during happy hour, all the bartenders were friendly. I did see a lot of congregating in chatter between the staff but everybody was in a great mood and doing their jobs. We had a limited menu during happy hour, so I'd love to explore more options in the evening, but we enjoyed beef carpaccio with arugula and pistachio nuts. There were lots of pistachios, they could back off of this a bit but overall a really nice dish. We also tried somewhat of a lobster naan bread. I would pass on this one next time. Came here for a brunch book club. There were 7 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 baby. We called ahead to make a reservation and they were very accommodating. I ordered a Sunday Morning for a cocktail. It has Calirosa Rosa Tequila, passion fruit, guava, lemon, and a berry sugar rim. It was $14. A little pricey but it was good. For my meal, I ordered the Beach Benedict. It is an English muffin, lump crab cakes, fried green tomatoes, and poached eggs topped with a creamy creole sauce. It was $24. Very good and unique! read more

Great location, but ..... we went there a couple of years ago and it was great and a unique menu that was delicious. New ownership now means a very dumbed down basic menu. Very touristy food imo. Not somewhere as a local that I'll be going again. Menu is not very descriptive either. I ordered a Caesar Salad with chicken and I got lettuce with a chicken breast. I had to ask for parm cheese and croutons, which they were out of. Our server was delightful and very apologetic, but even she commented on how she missed the former menu and how it's not as nice anymore. Very disappointing unfortunately. I'm sure due to the location, maybe they don't need locals, but as a local, I like supporting local businesses and this one was a fave because it's so close to the water. I have been coming here for years. Always loved the food, service and music. Within the last month it has become a disaster. Food was terrible, the staff became miserable (other than Mikayla) and they got rid of Moe the DJ. He made the weekends fun by the pool! Food was fine for what you would expect on the beach. Expectations weren't super high. If you order the filet, expect it to be 82 degrees Ambiance is good. The service: Absolutely horrible. They waiting an hour for a burger that never came and we ended up just leaving without the food, absolutely ridiculous. To make it so bad there is about 4 other families here it's not even closed to being busy. Completely ruined our evening. No manager visit to apologize or anything. Won't be back. This is one of the best burgers I've had in a while. So juicy and full of flavor. Our waiter, Max, was very attentive. I liked how he brought out ketchup cups in advance to go along with the fresh curled French fries. The broccolini was cooked to perfection. Debated this one. 4 or 5 stars. But when you find such a good and creative vegan option near the beach with sunset views you give it the benefit of the doubt. Besides, we had a really nice meal. 82 Degrees doesn't sit quite on the beach and your view of the beach, depending on where you sit, can be partially or totally obstructed. I'd recommend going 30 minutes or so before sunset and sit upstairs. You get no view downstairs. Even if you're upstairs, the view is not a clear shot but it's pretty. We both started with a cocktail-mine a gin drink and hers a vodka or tequila I think. Both drinks were good but I liked mine much better. We started with one of their flatbreads-a mushroom and arugula flatbread. This was very good. Much thinner and crispier than most flatbreads I've had in the past but it was light with a lot of flavor. For our entrees, we both got the tofu dish (it was meatless Monday after all). First, kudos for being one of the only restaurants on the beach with a vegan option that isn't salad or pasta or just veggies. Appreciate having the protein with the tofu. It was on a bed of edamame and bamboo. I am sure for many of you that doesn't sound appetizing but I encourage you to give it a chance. It was in a Korean sauce (starts with a g but I can't spell it or pronounce it but you know which one). It was perfect. Tofu is essentially just a delivery method of a good sauce since it has no flavor itself, and this sauce was sweet with a good spicy kick. We both cleaned our plates. Was in the best restaurant on Saint Pete Beach? No, probably not. But if you're going to serve up drinks and vegan options that good, you get the kudos from me. read more

I had the SPF 82 which was sweet and tasty. The food was great. We tried a lot of appetizers and loved them all with the favorite being the Southern Pork Belly. The special that night was fish in a pineapple, and it unfortunately wasn't that great. The fish serving was small and it was kind of dry. Everything on the actual menu was great, it's just the special of the night that wasn't. However, that won't stop us from coming back again. Our server was excellent and very attentive. Our experience here was top notch. We started with the Some Peach cocktail. Really tasty and not too sweet. We had the poke spoon appetizer. Absolutely delicious and perfect portion size. For entrees, we had the snapper and smoked chicken. Both were fantastic. My only complaint was I felt the fish was a little dry. I think a buerre blanc sauce would complement nicely. During high season you must have a reservation for the hostess will try to make you feel guilty for not having one. This place is consistently good. We stopped by 82 Degrees on a Saturday morning for brunch before heading out to the beach. Our server made our experience 10/10 but I wish I liked the food more. Maybe I just didn't get the right thing. We started with some breakfast shots and mimosas which were a lot of fun. The buffalo chicken flatbread had extremely thin crust and the crust was undercooked. The slices just completely flopped by the weight of the chicken which made it difficult to eat. I liked my Caesar salad but the dressing tasted very generic. The buffalo sauce on the flatbread also tasted artificial. I ordered some ranch and I was honestly shocked to see our waiter squeeze Hidden Valley Ranch into a ramekin. The chicken BLT looked delicious. The crab cake benedict was good, I heard. The restaurant is a lot of fun and offers a totally instagrammable vibe. It is a short walk to the public beach access. I wish the sauces were more authentic or homemade and the flatbread definitely needed to be cooked a little longer. read more

Went to this restaurant for a dinner as part of my best friend's bachelorette. The sunset views were icing on the cake during our visit. The food was delicious and service was very quick! Our server constantly checked on our big group and even went as a far as to offer one of the girls' a replacement glass of red wine when she didn't end up liking her first choice. The upper deck with it's open-aire concept is a fantastic space for cocktails, appetizers and dinner reminiscent of South Miami Beach. We started with Happy Hour Sauvignon Blanc house wine and Fig & Prosciutto Flatbread appetizer and we both were in food-love! She opted for the Tempura Lobster Ravioli and I the Tropical Rum Glazed Salmon. Everything was amazing from the presentation to great taste & wonderful texture to a finish that begs for another bite! The bar staff Austin & Shane kept us well satisfied and the manager Rico had paid a personal visit just to check that everything was to our satisfaction. We both had one of the best and memorable dinner experiences in recent past and this truly was a noteworthy visit leaving us wanting a soon return visit. Got an email talking about new place to try and we were over this way so let's do this. Got here around 730 and were seated by the window. Awesome table with. A great view. Given that they don't do reservations this was nice to be seated so quickly. Menu looked awesome. Ordered cocktails from their full bar. Old fashioned with Buffalo Trace. Very nice pour. To start we had the lobster bistro bisque. Amazing! Creamy and delicious. The big bowl was a little off putting but there was plenty of delicious soup there. Next we had the southern pork belly. BBQ pork belly on a bed of southern stewed collards. OMG. This was so good. The Briney BBQ collards were so good paired with the pimento cheese and pork. Get this! For wine we paired it with a nice Pinot from Willamette was so good! So far everything has been amazing! I wish I could give 6 stars. So our last course we got the ribeye, med rare with the cavatapi and creamed mushrooms. I would say OMG again but I don't like to be repetitive but OMG! Cool perfectly. Creamy pasty and amazing mushrooms. So good. We actually did have room for dessert. We got the German chocolate cake. Decadent. Moist and delicious. This place is amazing. I'm absolutely stunned by the quality of food and the diverse menu. You can really tell that the head chef took his time in not just good prep but training the other chefs to cook at a certain level of consistency. Every food item my wife and I have tried have been amazing. For dinner we had the truffle fries, and the way they were cut was superb, it was a very different experience. The pork belly had an Asian fusion with a very nice taste, they were huge. Lobster bisque was good but wish it was a bit more clunky with lobster, however the taste was great. And then we topped it off with the lobster ravioli that was not like any other ravioli I've ever had, the crust was fried and crisp with the interior and sauces really brought out the flavors. Brunch, pictures are attached. Hands down the best grits I've ever had, extra cheesy and extra butter. Bacon egg and cheese on Chala bread is a whole new experience: Wifey had the avocado toast; I didn't try it but she said it was great. The mixed potato side was amazing, crisp and tasty potatoes. Finally we had a French toast that was also great. Honestly, we love this place. The service, the vibe, the food!!! You have the option of siting on the main level patio or upstairs in the actual restaurant. The staff extremely nice. I honestly don't remember the exact name of the dishes but we ordered - Pork Belly w/ Brussels Sprouts along with the Lobster Bruschetta as an appetizer...DELISH!!! The main entree was a Creole type Grouper it was good but not great (maybe I'm bias because I'm Creole). The Food was basic nothing spectacular, I had the flatbread pictured below it was fresh with the arugula and tomatoes. The Ambiance was amazing it's a good spot for instagram photos. I've tried to eat here twice. The first time my spouse and I arrived at 7:30pm. There were more seats open than occupied. The hostess said she could not seat us because all the tables were reserved. I checked online and there were still open reservations. Two days later (Monday) I looked on Open Table and there were several reservations available. I made a reservation at 8pm for 8:30 pm. Within 5 minutes someone called to tell me they couldn't take my reservation because the kitchen closes soon. I asked what time they stop seating people because this is the second time this has happened. She couldn't give me an answer. The restaurant closes at 9:30pm, but I'm pretty sure they are working by 7pm to make sure it's empty before close. They need to block their reservations online if they are going to turn people away. My guess though is that whoever owns this place doesn't know they are doing a great job at running off business. read more

I have been excited to try this new restaurant on St. Pete Beach and it did not disappoint! We came right as the sun was setting and was almost seated outdoors in the back by the pool, but I asked if we could eat at the outdoor fire bar. It was perfect with a nice breeze blowing. There are more than a few places to grab a bite and a drink on in this stretch of Saint Pete Beach. 82 degrees stands out just a little from the rest. it's got that rare classy beach bar vibe that maybe one other place comes close to. There's also a nice view of Blind Pass from the upstairs bar. The food might seem expensive for bar food. $22 for a burger and fries or a Grouper BLT might seem expensive, but they're not. the "smash burger" is of a decent size, perfectly cooked to,your liking and seasoned perfectly. served an a fresh brioche roll, havarti cheese, onion jam and jalapeño with bacon. the fries are apparently hand cut, hot and perfectly crispy. The Grouper BLT sandwich is enormous and flavorful. Bacon, lettuce, tomato with slaw and remolaude on challah bread is perfection. Don't order it if you aren't hungry. it's that big. if you are anywhere near Blind Pass on Saint Pete Beach, stop by this place for the relaxing atmosphere, good service and very good food. it's well worth the visit. read more
