There are more than a few places to grab a bite and a drink on in this stretch of Saint Pete Beach. 82 degrees stands out just a little from the rest. it's got that rare classy beach bar vibe that maybe one other place comes close to. The crowd they draw is also very nice. Mature adults who aren't stuffed shirts. It's always easy to engage in conversation or not, as you see fit. There's also a nice view of Blind Pass from the upstairs bar. The food might seem expensive for bar food. $22 for a burger and fries or a Grouper BLT might seem expensive, but they're not. the "smash burger" is of a decent size, perfectly cooked to,your liking and seasoned perfectly. served an a fresh brioche roll, havarti cheese, onion jam and jalapeño with bacon. the fries are apparently hand cut, hot and perfectly crispy. The Grouper BLT sandwich is enormous and flavorful. Bacon, lettuce, tomato with slaw and remolaude on challah bread is perfection. Don't order it if you aren't hungry. it's that big. if you are anywhere near Blind Pass on Saint Pete Beach, stop by this place for the relaxing atmosphere, good service and very good food. it's well worth the visit. read more

This is the first time eating here but will certainly be back. Alison was the only person serving the outside patio and she rocked it. Service was fast and the food fantastic. The deck area was so chill to hang out. They were super busy glad we had a reservation. The drinks were fabulous and not watered down. The appetizers were the bomb. We had the deviled eggs, papas cuvanas, and poke spoon. All were so tasty. For the main course we had shrimp and grits, scallops, and Tuscan chicken. All were very favorable and delicious. No complaints! Even the key lime desert was great! Overall this place is a great spot to eat and we will be adding it to our list of favorite places! It was my daughters birthday so the only recommendation I would have is for the Resturant to do something special for birthdays. read more

82 Degrees is a very STRONG 4/5 stars. I came with a group of six and enjoyed their New Years brunch. It wasn't too busy and our server, Max was helpful and attentive. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has great vibes. We sat outside and had a view of their pool, which we will definitely be back to check out once the weather warms up. We took advantage of their bottomless mimosas and our server made sure to keep our drinks filled and gave us plenty of water and extra juices. Their food menu is a bit limited and I find that to be their downfall. I settled on the smash burger, which wasn't much of a smash burger. Surprisingly the patty was very thick but still delicious! I added bacon and it was SO good! We also ordered their bruschetta and truffle fries which were yummy starters. The portions were shareable too. Overall, I found 82 Degrees to be well worth the hype. The service, food and ambiance were great. The lack of variety when it comes to food can be overlooked. I will definitely be back for a fun time with great drinks. read more

If you want to see a bit of the beach but are tired of the average beach fried food and ready for a bit more refined dining then 82 Degrees is the place you want to reserve for a memorable dinner! 82 specializes in seafood and for the vegans and vegetarians and eco-conscious, they recently added a very impressive tofu dish! So my fiance and I took a special trip for our anniversary to try out their grilled tofu and cocktails. But first the cocktails! The drinks were amazing! Usually when you go to beach bars, you expect the crappy watered down mixed drinks, but 82 Degrees has fabulous strong cocktails that are well balanced. They have a nice size bar area on the top floor with maybe like a dozen or so stools to enjoy a craft cocktail while enjoying a view of the water. Kudos to the menu creators because they have a menu item for everyone which is really kind of critical nowadays when you have people who have gluten intolerances or are vegetarian or vegan. When you travel in a group, it is nice to pick a place with a menu that has options for all types of diners. We dined here on a monday night (because our anniversary fell on a monday) and it was packed! so definitely be sure to make a reservation. Not every table has a view, so if you're celebrating a special occasion you will want to make reservations. read more

Have been twice first time with my family I wanted the truffle Ravioli but they were out . So I got the chicken it was amazing! Make sure to stop by and check this restaurant out! They recently updated their menu and everything was delish! At first, we weren't sure if we were able to go up the stairs to the restaurant with two babies but as long as you can carry them in a car seat or in your arms then you'll be fine. We came on a Sunday before sunset and we didn't have to wait. There was a live musician and singer that did amazing covering songs and giving off that chill vibe. The waitress was informative on the menu (that's how we knew it was just updated a few weeks ago) and she even told us about the prices on items marked "MP" before we ordered which was nice. This is a nice restaurant that sits across the street from a waterview. I mistakenly made a reservation for outside on the ground floor which I came to realize did not have as good a view as upstairs .Our hostess went out of her way to seat us upstairs which was greatly appreciated . Onion soup ,a burger ,and a salad for my girl were all nicely done .A piece of plastic somehow made it's way into my girlfriends salad (an accident that could happen to anyone ) I only bring it up because the manager was so apologetic and immediately took it off the bill . It was a nice vibe with some music as well and we enjoyed ourselves. We came at a busy time and had to wait for a couple of things ,but our sever was very nice and this was not a major thing . Great service and a fun contemporary atmosphere. They had live music downstairs and cute neon signs all over. I was disappointed with both appetizers. The octopus was over cooked and rubbery and the pork was smothered in a very sweet sauce. The French onion soup and the Burrata salad however exceeded all expectations. We were staying at The Saint and wanted to try the restaurant. The music is fun and lively but you can still hear everyone at the table. It is higher up so you can look out to the beach and see a bit of the sunset. On Sunday evening they had live music which was such a fun treat. The services was exceptional, so attentive and the manager came over to make sure everything was going well. We had an amazing time. But then we received the food and we were blown away. We had a great time dining at 82 Degrees for dinner and brunch. We had the same waitress both times. She was wonderful, helpful, and attentive. The staff made sure all my food was prepared gluten free with extra attention to cross contamination. The cocktails were delicious as well. The restaurant has a very open and carefree vibe with live music by the pool. Parking is simple enough as the spaces are right in front of the building. There is a very pretty view of the water from the second floor of the restaurant as well. All of the food was delicious and well executed with plating, taste, and flavor. The prices were fair for brunch and dinner. We would return! read more

It was slightly over 82 degrees when we sat at the open air table at mid day. The umbrellas provided adequate shade and the sea breeze was just enough to keep the vibe fresh. Sunday brunch... definitely worth the trouble of making a reservation and the journey to St Pete Beach. The menu is limited, but offers enough to keep everyone happy. The food is nicely presented. Decided to try this place after a day at the beach. They had a decent happy hour with lots of options for drinks and food. The bar area that was located upstairs had a wonderful view. There was also free parking which was a plus since it seems to be rare in this area. The food was pretty good nothing too spectacular, but it met the mark for a quick after the beach dinner. I am soooo excited to share that 82 Degrees really is awesome. It's tough to know anymore with all these Instagram filters out there but 82 Degrees is not masking. The bar (indoor/outdoor) is so well designed. It is super colorful and still very sophisticated. Best of all it's across the street from some waterside parking, meaning unobstructed views! Matched with the live music and the blue lighting, the ambiance is a grand slam. The cocktail program is really nice. I think they really play up the riffs on margaritas in a classy way, instead of cluttering the menu with margaritas they simply give you the option to make it skinny, mezcal, etc... (The smoked Mezcal "old fashioned" cocktail is not worth it FYI stick to the other cocktails.) The food is pretty good, especially considering they could get away with lame food and would still be busy because like ~beachside restaurant~. The chargrilled octopus was extremely chargrilled (overcooked IMO), and I would not order it again. I would order the French Onion Soup! I enjoyed sitting at the bar and look forward to coming back for a full dining experience. read more

The food and atmosphere here are great but the place was near empty and we were pretty much ignored by the staff, it took us a good 40 minutes to order food at the nearly empty bar, people who came in well after us had orders in and food out before we did which was a little annoying when all we got was salad. I know this place is new though so there's bound to be some hiccups along the way, everyone was friendly and I loved all the the cute neon signs. Next time I'm in town we're going to try again, this way there's time to iron out the kinks. If you do go here in the meantime though their house salad is AMAZING, salad alone I'd rate this place 50 stars! read more

Wow! My wife and I happened upon this funky, cool restaurant close to our favorite burger place in St Pete Beach (Willy's Burger and Booze) and decided to grab a bite for lunch. We started with the Crabmeat stuffed Avacado with chipotle aoli. Absolutely fantastic. So much so that I ordered it as my lunch as well! My wife opted for the blackened grouper BLT. Her sandwich was huge. She cut off a quarter for me and still she couldn't finish it. Again a home run. Paired with a couple happy hour (12-4) Margaritas at $5 per and we were satisfied and impressed. Decided to go there again for dinner our last night in town. Started with the Avacado appetizer again which was a difficult decision since the Spicy shrimp appetizer and Pork Belly appetizer's were quite tempting too. Next had a bowl of maybe the best French Onion soup I've ever had. Stupendous. For dinner we went "halvsies" on the Rack of Lamb. Jen our server was the icing on the cake! She just did an awesome job of attending to every detail. This is our new favorite place and I can assure you it will be our first stop when we return next year! This was our favorite meal of the trip. Our waitress Jen was very nice and took care of all of my boyfriends allergy concerns. We both agreed that it was the best meal of our trip. Food was fantastic but oh my god I can't believe how bad the service was. Hostesses who obviously hate their job along with a wait staff who can't even get orders right when we're the only people inside. A million people walking around and doing nothing. The service here was great, every staff member we encountered was so friendly and helpful. The location is across the street from the water and in an updated hotel. There was plenty of parking and we were seated outside. They've got a huge drink menu and a good sized food menu too. I had the house salad which was fine. I also had the pine isles flatbread - it was ok. It's pretty weighed down with Brie giving it a greasy texture. The flatbread itself was good and crunchy. My boyfriend got the burger and was super excited to try it after some raving reviews. He ordered it medium well and it came medium rare, as did 2 other peoples at the table. They went ahead and ate half and did say it was good, however shortly after we left ended up getting sick from the meal. I truly did appreciate the friendly staff here, but the food was mediocre. I wouldn't go back just from our experience. read more

A really cute spot on St Pete Beach, I had a couple great drinks including the "Hot Summer Nights", if you like mango I highly recommend it. I had the special which was hogfish with fried rice served in a pineapple with a pineapple and mango chutney. The presentation was great and the portion of fish was pretty good but it was just alright. The rice was good but there wasn't much of it and it was a lot spicier than I expected. Good overall but definitely not the quality I'd expect for the price. read more

I came here for Christmas 2021, the Sunsets were amazing. On Friday Night I danced by the pool to live music with Jennifer Real, on Saturday I had an amazing Brunch with a great egg white omelet. We have done here several times but last week it was the worst foos and service that have gotten any where. The new chef decided to take the filet off the menu and put a so called ribeye on the menu. My wife took 2 bites and could not finish it. I got the red snapper and it came like warm and the vegetables were stone cold. Not sure if we will go back and we have been there over 10 times. I'm not sure what the owners were thing but. Not such a good idea. read more

I just went to the cutest hotel for brunch at their restaurant and it was giving me all the Florida vibes. Tucked away on St Pete Beach, The Saint Hotel is a must to check out! 82 Degrees is the on-site restaurant and its open weekends for brunch, closed Mondays, and open at 3 the rest of the week for lunch and dinner. There is free parking on the side if you are dining in. Food and drinks were delicious, everything was so fresh! Spoiler alert.. get the cheese grits! The hotel is the cutest I'm obsessed with the decor. Hotel features a pool, hot tub (I'd never get out!), fire pit, corn hole, and live music most nights. Also offers free bikes to guest to enjoy the area. And assigned parking for each room which I thought was nice you'd never have to worry about finding parking. read more

Great location that looks out at the water and the decor is amazing. I went for brunch and the menu has a great selection so you're bound to find something that you like. Also as a bonus you can use the pool at the resort after you eat! We tried the eggs Benedict, and salmon toast, and chicken and waffles. All great but our Favorite dish was the chicken and waffles! Highly recommend! The steak and eggs also looked delicious. Will come back for sure! read more

If you're looking for a (mostly) tequila-based craft cocktail, or a break from the norm in walking distance from numerous hotels and beach bars, this is definitely the place to go. They're related to the excellent Agave restaurant two doors down in the same building, so certain Agave food items are available here. In any case, I stopped in for some drinks recently and loved everything. I started with their Oaxaca Old Fashioned, which is an orange-tasting mix of tequila, mezcal and bitters. Moved on to The Don; a great margarita. Finally, feeling the need to step it up, I asked for a recommendation on a reasonably priced smooth tequila to sip; the recommended Padre Azul anejo was exactly what I was looking for. The interior has more of a lounge vibe than a bar; lots of group seating areas, a pool table, chess, etc. Now, my six months later update to my original review; I've since ventured into the world of mezcal, and love coming here to find random new mezcals they get in. Mezcal is also produced from the agave plant, but unlike tequila, generally can't be produced in anywhere near the volume, so you aren't going to find it receiving the same attention tequila does, since no distiller could generate enough to keep up with the demand an advertising campaign would bring. I've found I really enjoy a smoky mezcal, straight up or even for an upgraded margarita, and many of the mezcals they serve here can also be purchased in bottle form at the liquor store next door (a family member of the owner owns that store).

Snappers was packed at 6:30pm on a Tuesday night. However, as it was late July, we were able to get a table outside right away. There are fans to help with the heat, and it's well ventilated so there was a nice breeze. Our server was prompt and friendly. The menu was seafood with an Asian flair. We started with the crab stuffed portobello (probably the weakest part of the meal) and delicious coconut shrimp. After that, our entrees came with salads, which were also great (tortilla chips and a zesty dressing made it more fun than your usual house salad, but it didn't feel too decadent). I got the snapper, which was served over coconut rice and with a delicious curry sauce and mango chutney. The curry reminded me more of thinner Japanese curry versus Indian or Thai, which I loved. The snapper itself was a nicely-sized piece and was cooked/seasoned perfectly with a hint of spice. The coconut sticky rice was so addictive!! The sweetness of the mango chutney just made each bite a wonderful flavor explosion. I would 100% recommend this dish. My husband got the coconut cashew crusted mahi, which was also excellent (and another huge portion of fish). It seems like you can't go wrong here with a fish dish!

82 Degrees is a gorgeous spot if you're looking for a cocktail, a small bite, and a killer sunset. The dining room is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows that give you the perfect panoramic view as the sun goes down - definitely the star of the show. We started with the Pimento Cheese Fritters, which were the highlight of the meal. Crispy on the outside, soft and gooey on the inside, with a balsamic reduction that added a nice tangy contrast. Unfortunately, the rest of the food didn't live up to the view. The Cheesesteak came overloaded with meat (a plus), but the slices of cheese were just tossed on top - not melted in - and the meat itself was overcooked. The Blackened Chicken Scampi was swimming in butter, had very little chicken, and what was there wasn't blackened at all - just a plain grilled breast sliced up. For the price point, it was a letdown. Sweet potato fries were decent. Not much else to say there. Also worth noting - they serve Pepsi products, so if you're a Coke loyalist, prepare to be disappointed. And the tables? Weirdly sticky. All of them. Like, permanently sticky. Would I come back? Maybe - for drinks and a sunset. But for a meal? I'll pass. read more

The view from the top is absolutely stunning, but the food and service made the experience even better. We shared a Berkshire pork chop, which was cooked to perfection, and the hot fried chicken sliders, which were delicious. The drinks were just as impressive. I'm searching for the perfect French Onion Soup. Perhaps this is "one of those dishes" where you should stick to the standard, rather than trying to be avant-garde. This was definitely an attempt to be elevated, but it lacked the fundamentals. I am expecting nicely melted cheese over bread with a nice browned crust on top. This one lacked in the amount of onions and cheese. It was more a blob of floating cheese in a salad like dish, rather than a crock cup. The burrata salad was very good. The flat bread was very very good and top notch. The menu also looks very appealing and the overall atmosphere, while not directly on the beach, has a good beach feel and is upper scale. The food was incredible. The staff was very friendly and inviting. Our waitress was incredibly nice and had great menu recommendations. I got the scallop dinner which was amazing. Best scallops I've ever had. My boyfriend got the grouper and said it tasted great as well. The cocktails were delicious. They also had a live band there and the gentleman singing sounded GREAT! The whole experience from the food to the drinks to the entertainment to the staff made this experience a 10/10! Highly recommend and we definitely plan on going back one more time before we head home from our vacation. read more

My family and I visited for brunch. The atmosphere was great and the view was amazing. I've heard wonderful things about the dinner here and was very excited to try the brunch. The four of us each tried a different meal. The food was good, but not great. I had the skillet, it was flavorful but too full of potatoes, in my opinion. Brunch on the beach, life doesn't get any better! I just had the shrimp and crab Benedict and my wife had the farmhouse steak and egg salad. Food is absolutely awesome and you can't beat the views. Driving here, I didn't know what to expect or realize the layout or scope of this place, Island Grand at TradeWinds. It's a four star resort! There was a guard at a formal gate and a sign with significant parking costs. I just told the guard I was eating lunch with a friend at Pete's and he kindly let me in. I should have asked for directions because it turns out this place is a 40 acre resort with multiple parking areas and restaurants. All good! I walked in the main entrance and the gentleman at a desk on the right kindly gave me accurate and friendly directions. I was nicely greeted at the entrance to Pete's, the kind ladies acknowledged my reservation and directed me to where my friend was already sitting. We chatted and the waitress Rosalie introduced herself and took care of us. She was very gracious and helpful and answered our questions about the place. We learned she'd worked in the past at the legendary Hub in Tampa, as well as a few other places! Respect! Thank you for your excellent service Rosalie! You gave us time and space to chat and eat but we're also there at the right moments to take care of us. My chopped salad with salmon added was a nice size portion, very fresh, and the salmon was cooked perfectly, not overcooked as it often is. We enjoyed our meal, took our time, relaxed, chatted, got our checks and found our way back to our cars. It turns out there is parking much closer to the restaurant. Pete's is right on the huge St Pete beach with large windows. But, it's perfectly enclosed so the AC was very welcome on a 93F summer day. When I arrived a little before 11:00 both Rosalie & the manager told me they change from the breakfast menu to the lunch menu EXACTLY at 11:00 and if we wanted breakfast we'd have to put in our orders right away. We assured them that the lunch menu was fine, But it was nice of them to inquire and was typical of the intimate service provided. I ordered the portobello melt ($15) and Dave got a Salmon Salad. Both dishes were tasty. The air conditioning was cold, and the views of the beach were hot. Good views of the Chippies on the beach (If you like that sort of thing). Great meal with great conversation = Priceless!

The most disappointing part was my husbands filet minion was cut in half and grilled in order for their weight to be exact. Such 2 star move when you're paying good money for a nice steak. Then management tried to tell us that the steak was just leaving after they already admitted that they cut it in half. I will give them credit they took the steak off our bill. It's no wonder that Guy Harvey took his name off this restraunt.

The plac3 had big rolling shutters and opened up like an outdoor restaurant. The cool morning air made it so nice for breakfast. Do not pass this place!

Not trying to be too dramatic, but was one of the best I've ever had. Huge bar that faces the beach. On the side that faces the beach there are three large screen TVs so just enough. You don't feel overwhelmed like it is a sports bar. Just very beachy and just enough to keep those tuned into the sports with what they want to see (World Cup today). Service was off the charts good. The only critical thing I would say is these poor servers and bartenders are all dressed in long sleeve and long pants in BLACK! It is painful to watch them! Just BRUTAL!!! We were there on 4th of July and it was well over 100° and these poor people were dressed in those uniforms. Management - come on!!!! This is cruel and unusual punishment. Put them in shorts and short sleeve shirts, which would fit the ambience of the place and would not make people sitting there in already hot conditions feeling sorry for them. That's just inexcusable! We will definitely be back. Prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere and location is absolutely awesome! Diamond, our waitress, was absolutely stellar.
