I stopped in the mall today and I was a little hungry and parched. I ordered the ham and cheese sandwich, the passion fruit tea and strawberry matcha bun. The ham and cheese was pretty good. It had an egg on it which made me wonder, why it wasn't called a ham, egg and cheese sandwich... but anywho.... It was good, the bread was actually puff pastry making it light and fluffy, they didn't skimp on the meat and the sauce tasted like it had a pinch of horseradish, it had poppy seeds on the outside for the look. I would definitely recommend for a light lunch. The matcha strawberry bun is green making it very eye catching. When biting into it, you can definitely taste the matcha, which was just okay, the strawberry feeling made it a lot better again very solid.

Great quick snack while shopping! I love the croquettes! The daily citrus pressed juicery was a perfect pairing and a hydrating drink after buying and walking around at the mall. A good switch up from the other kiosks lol. Friendly staff. Quick food and service.

A nice, spacious Asian bakery inside the Arden Fair Mall. It expands all the way to the back with entrance from the parking lot, so you don't even have to walk through the mall if you just want to go there for a coffee and cafe. The mochi egg tart is pretty delicious, lots of selection, and things are reasonably priced. Place could have been kept cleaner though.

Love this bakery! Love how big the space is. It looks like a perfect space for studying but I havent tried that yet. Not sure how the volume level is paired with studying. But anyways, I always come here for their sea salt matcha latte or their viet coffee! Everything tastes delicious and the workers are very nice so of course I'd come back again and again!

Really cute bakery attached to the mall It's very popular so there will always be a line Great variety of sweet and savory pastries. Great to grab a snack or even lunch on the go. They offer full cakes or a slices pretty good pricing too, not too expensive for the quality Plenty of seating they have quite a lot of space They also have the front lobby inside of the actual mall really cozy places to charge your phone to study work Various chair, sizes and shapes so that you can find what's comfortable for you. Really cool place and they have incredible drinks. Nothing is too sweet. Everything is just amazing. Well, definitely become here again

I've been to this location few times now. On the most recent visit, I met up with friends Sunday morning right when they were opened. Pastries tasted fresh. Like other locations, there were many selections to choose from. Besides from pastries, they also offer cakes and drinks. Service was good. There are tables inside the shop and inside the mall as well. There are 2 entrances. One is outside directly from the parking lot and one from inside the mall next to Macy's.

85c is one of my fave places for coffee or pastries in the Sacramento area!! My advice is to download the app so you can accrue rewards and get the deals they do- like usually there's a BOGO deal in there or something. Everything here is so good though and the prices are unbeatable- usually like $2-3 for a pastry and $4-6 for a coffee or boba drink. My boyfriend loves the Hawaiian chicken bread and I like the cinnamon sugar muffin croissant thing. Also the staff is so nice, they often remember my name and what I like!

First time here at this location. Came in on a Tuesday around 1:30pm. This location is attached to a mall and is really clean and large. The server was nice and friendly. Ordered the hot dog bun, potato croquette (you get two!) and a taro lavender latte with boba. Both buns were fresh and seasoned good. Bread was light and fluffy. The boba latte was freshly made. The boba was nice and soft. (Perfectly cooked)

I have been to several 85 locations. The deserts are always delicious and I always return for my premium milk pastry. This experience was slightly different. I walked into a semi disheveled location with dirty tables and random trash throughout the area. Could have been a busy day so I didn't take that into consideration. It was around 7 PM on a Saturday night, the employees looked miserable No one greated you or even smiled to be honest. There were only about 10 to 15 customers inside the store when I arrived, there was no line... mainly people just waiting for their drinks or orders. I kindly asked if they had any more premium milk pastries and she said "nope done for the day" . I went to look around to see what else they had and half the pasties didn't have labels so I had no idea what kind of pastry it was. Disappointing but it would have been a rough day for them and a one off.. wont stop me from coming back (but maybe a different location)

This is the only bread we got.

I went in there between 9-9:30 am and literally their shelves is pretty much empty. Before they told me to come when the just open so there are so many fresh it's completely opposite.

I came to 85C Bakery on a weekday evening close to closing. When entering from the parking lot, you walk down a long hallway to the back where the bakery is. The smell alone is divine, and I was pleasantly surprised by the assortment of baked goods and pastries that 85C offers. 85C has a serve-yourself model, and their baked goods and pastries are French and Asian inspired which I love. My partner and I picked out a few baked goods and cookies to go, and the service was quick at check out. To our surprise, our six items came out to $15, which is a steal for this kind of quality. My favorite selection was the marble taro bun with taro filling! This delicate flavor was infused perfectly without being overpowering, and the bun was big enough for my partner and I to share. We're looking forward to coming back, picking out more baked goods, and ordering their boba drinks!

Clean and organized with tons of Savory and sweet options to pick from! Long line when I came in. Plenty of seating on the sides and front or back of store.

Chocolate Almond Crisp. Don't waste your money on it.

Zero chocolate flavor despite the dark color--not recommended. They also seem short-handed now, and the service has lost the enthusiasm it once had.

How much are the whole cakes? Looking for a cake for around 6-10 people

Prices of the cakes vary slightly depending on type, so we always recommend calling the store ahead of time if looking for accurate pricing. (916) 559-6380

Is there an option to buy bake goods without all the plastic bags?

Hi Jia, our breads used to be available with no plastic covering. Due to covid, we made the decision to keep items covered using the bags. At the moment there is no option to buy them without the bags.

When are they going to re-open this location?

We plan on opening our Arden Fair location on 10/9/2020!

    Do they have WiFi?

Yes they do have free WiFi!

    Any vegan food options?

I am not aware of vegan options in their bakery.

There is no seating inside but there are a few benches outside. I think the favorite thing I got here was their "not pizza" which was their sourdough bread topped with delicious tomato sauce, cheese, etc. Amazing and so soft and fluffy. I also really enjoyed their banana bread (insanely moist) and egg and ham cup. Prices are reasonable (croissants are less than $5) and service is fast despite the line out the door. Very high quality stuff and worth the drive if you are coming from out of the area. You won't be disappointed. I wouldn't be surprised if this place continues to get more popular. Definitely been on a big banana bread kick lately and this one did not disappoint. Tons of chocolate chips! The garlic bun was by far my absolute favorite. It was crispy and at the same time so buttery like a croissant, and the garlic flavor was amazing. Not overpowering not that spicy garlic taste when a recipe overdoes it, just perfect garlic, butter, crisp and light. Absolute heaven. I decided to go for the chicken and mushroom congee. (rice porridge.). I also got a green onion hotdog roll to take home with me. To drink, I had a green tea with lemon. The congee was amazing. A rich complex flavor. It had a little bit of ginger in it, you could definitely taste the ginger, but it did not overwhelm the rest of the porridge. The chicken was good, and for the mushroom, they used black mushrooms, which have a deeper flavor than regular mushrooms. So very good. It looked like a small bowl, but I couldn't finish it. Some came home with me, and it reheated very well. It also came with Chinese donuts to put in the porridge. Chinese donuts are a little bit different. My boyfriend and I finally had the time to come on a Monday (after the gym lol). We ordered a couple of items to try and I'll tell you I was full after a couple of bites and it carried me for the rest of day. We ordered jalapeño cheddar and classic sausage patty, egg, & cheese biscuit sandwich and biscuit 2 pack: blueberry and brown sugar biscuit. While picking up my boyfriend was recommended the cinnamon roll and he caved and got it! We had our pickup time at 7:30, but we showed up a little early and got our food around 7:20. There was a bit of a wait since there were some people ahead of us, so I'd recommend you going a bit earlier than your time just in case you're in a rush. We headed home to try everything. We really enjoyed the biscuits themselves as they didn't leave a dry or grainy feeling in your mouth. They had a good crust while being airy and light inside. The sandwiches were good, but they were anything crazy. Size wise it is small for the price you get, but I get it. It's all house made and fresh. The hash brown bread with ham and cheese was very dense and filling, making it a great savory option. I loved the self-serve pastry setup and appreciated how large the bakery selection was. While some items looked a little fresher than others, there was still plenty to choose from, and everything we picked was delicious.
